"Yes, it's an adaptation of an eighteenth century French fairytale. No-maj parents like to tell their kids stories like this one before bed, and Walt Disney has turned many of those stories into films." Claire told him as she put the VHS in. She was pretty surprised that he had a TV set in his apartment considering he had never seen a single No-Maj movie or television show, but it had made things easier on her. She'd just needed to get the movie and they'd been good to go. "Most of the original stories are a bit darker than the film adaptations, they all have important messages in them regardless, but this one is still fairly dark. It's always been my favorite though." Once she had pressed play, she took a seat next to him on the couch, smiling as the opening credits began and soon the narrator's voice was heard telling the story of how a young prince had once turned an old beggar woman seeking shelter from a winter storm away.
To say that Fred was looking forward to today would be an understatement. Since he saw Jessie last, he'd practically been counting down the minutes, George argued that he was counting the seconds, until he got to see her again. He had planned the entire day out for them. He was going to take her to Hogsmeade, they'd go to Honeydukes, Zonkos and a few of the other shops there and then he'd take her to the Three Broomsticks for some butterbeer. He'd show her the shrieking shack after that and then, finally Hogwarts from a distance. He was taken from his thoughts about the day's plans when he heard a knock on the door. With a grin on his face, he made his way over and opened the door. "Has anyone ever told you that you have impeccable timing?"

Jessie looked up with a smile when the door in front of her opened, "I have actually." She replied with a small laugh. She was so excited to spend the day with Fred. She had been looking forward to it since they had talked about it, "Alright so I have high expectations for the day. Better not let me down." She teased with a wink. Jessie knew that he could never let her down, and even if they didn't do much at all that day, she knew that she would still have a great time with him. They were soulmates after all so Jessie knew that no matter what the two did, she was still going to be happy around him.

Draco nodded at her explanation before she he turned to the television and watched the stained glass pictures show up on the screen as the narrator told the story of how the prince became the beast. He glanced over at Claire and smiled slightly at her reaction to the film. It was clearly obvious that this was her favorite and that she truly enjoyed this movie a lot. Draco looked back to the movie and raised his eyebrows lightly when the villagers started to sign, "You didn't tell me that this was a musical." He stated with a small chuckle as he looked over at Claire and back to the movie once more.

When Claire loved something it was beyond obvious. She was one of those people who were extremely passionate about the things that she loved, and that included her favorite books and movies as well. "A musical that was well-thought out and beautifully composed by one of the best composers ever." She told him. "Alan Menken is a lyrical genius." She might have done quite a bit of research on the film after she saw it. No-Majs could be just as talented, if not more so, than some witches and wizards were.
Fred chuckled softly. "Well, hopefully what I have planned for today will live up to your expectations." He said as he grabbed his jacket. The summer months in London were warmer than other parts of the year, but there was still always a slight chill in the air during the morning hours. It usually warmed up by mid-afternoon though, but he was still prepared regardless, and it was always a bit cooler in the Scottish countryside near Hogwarts anyway. If he didn't need it, he'd lend it to Jessie if she was cold. Yes, he had thought into this day that much.

Jessie smiled at Fred's words and nodded, "I'm sure they will, and then some." She replied and watched as he grabbed a jacket. She didn't think much about if it would be cold. She was used to the cold weather from going to Ilvermorny. Just living in the North Eastern part of the US was pretty cold during winter months and still relatively chilly the rest of the year. Jessie didn't care if it was cold, or even if it snowed, nothing would ruin her day with Fred. She could break a limb, and it would still be one of the best days she could have ever had. She was spending it with her soulmate so nothing could ruin it for her.

Draco smiled at how much she clearly loved this movie. He decided to give it a try and watch the movie intently as if he was studying for a test. He wanted to see every part in detail, not missing a thing. He also wanted to see which parts were Claire's favorites so he could put them in his memory for the future. It clearly seemed to be her favorite movie, so he wanted to make sure that he liked it almost as much as she did. He could definitely tell that this movie was well thought out. He did realize that muggles could definitely do their own magic without actually having any magic in their blood.

Claire focused her attention on the movie for the most part, though on occasion she would glance over to try and gauge Draco's reaction to the film. She didn't say very much as Belle and Beast's story played out on the screen, though she would comment on occasion and sometimes even sing along with the songs quietly. She didn't realize that Draco was starting to read into the story more than she ever would have imagined that he would. "This is one of my favorite parts." She said as the opening notes of Something There began to play in the background.
"You seem to have quite a bit of faith in me, love." Fred said with a smile as he started towards the door. He was really looking forward to showing her things that had made up a large portion of his life. He figured that he would apparate them to Hogsmeade Village, they could have a look around some of the shops there and then he'd lead her to the Shrieking Shack as well. He was debating whether he should lead her onto the grounds of the school through the secret passage within the shack or not. He knew that she apparently lived for adventure, so he doubted that she would mind doing so.

Jessie couldn't stop the blush from coming to her face when he called her love, but grinned at him regardless, "I do, actually." She replied with a grin as they walked out the door. Jessie was looking forward to her day with Fred more than she had ever looked forward to anything. She couldn't stop talking about him to Claire as she got ready this morning at the hotel. Jessie knew that it was probably annoying, but she just couldn't help herself, Fred was the man of her dreams and she had been looking forward to meeting him since she was eight years old and her parents had to explain to her why she was getting random bruises all over her body. Fred was her Prince Charming and nothing was going to ruin their day together.

Draco was very focused on the movie, but he looked over when Claire spoke about her favorite part coming up. He made sure to pay extra attention so that he would be able to talk about her favorite part with her after the movie. He could hear faint notes starting to play in the background and he listened clearly to the lyrics that were being sung by the two main characters. It was obvious that this was the turning point for the movie where Belle starts to fall in love with the Beast, and Draco could see why it was Claire's favorite part.

Claire still hadn't fully wrapped her head around everything that had happened in such a short amount of time. A few days had passed since her path had crossed with Draco's. She spent an equal amount of time with him as she did Jessie, sometimes a little bit more with him if she was being completely honest but Jessie didn't seem to mind as she was spending much of her time with Fred anyway, and she felt like she was really getting to know the man whose soul was connected to her own more and more with each passing day. Nevertheless, there was a part of her that couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he wasn't telling her. They had just returned to Draco's flat after grabbing lunch and a walk around part of No-Maj London when there was a knock at the door. "Draco, darling, it's me!" A woman's voice called through the door. Claire shot her soulmate a look, but before she could get a word in, he was leading her down the hall to his bedroom, claiming that he'd provide her with an explanation soon, he just needed her to wait there until the woman, whoever she was, left.
Fred still hadn't told Jessie where he was taking her. The brunette had asked him a handful of times since he picked her up from the hotel she was staying at, but he had yet to give her even the smallest of hints. He really did hope she liked where he was taking her. It wasn't some wonderful, grand gesture, but Jessie didn't seem to be the type to enjoy those sorts of things anyway, and he felt as though where he was taking her proved that he'd been listening to everything she told him, and that he'd put a great deal of thought into where he was going to take her on their date. "You don't do well with surprises, do you?" He teased, a chuckle falling from his lips as he looked over to his soulmate with a look of amusement flashing across his face.

Jessie couldn't help but smile at his words as she shook her head, "Nope not at all. Hate them actually. I like knowing exactly what I'm walking into." Jessie explained with a laugh. She slid her hand into his, intertwining their fingers as the crowd started to become thicker. She could deny how perfect her hand fit into his, and she loved it so much, "So if you would kindly just tell me where you're taking me, that would be great." Jessie teased as she looked up at him. Jessie wasn't ever one for surprises and often got anxiety attacks when she was kept in the dark about things, but with Fred, she could feel herself staying calm despite the looming mystery hanging over her head.

    ---

Draco was having the time of his life with Claire, and he couldn't remember a time when he had been this happy. He had pushed her away for so long, and he was so thankful that he didn't have to push her away anymore because she just accepted him for who he was, and wanted to spend time with him regardless. Everything was perfect...until there was a knock at his door and Astoria's voice was heard through the door. Draco looked over at Claire hesitantly before he pulled her off the couch and rushed her down to his bedroom, "I promise I'll explain in a bit. Just stay here please." He said before he shut his door and hurried to greet the woman on the other side of the door, "Hey. What are you doing here?" He questioned.
