Cassidy's eyes scanned over the recent news regarding whatever was going on in this town. She was still getting used to being a hunter, still learning things, but she was trying her best. The problem was, she still had so much to learn and it frustrated her to know that she wasn't putting the pieces together to figure out what sort of creature was causing trouble in the town.

It had been a while since their last job and Sam wasn't sure how to feel about it. On one hand, it was nice to have a break; on the other, he knew there were people out there that needed their help. His eyes wandered over his laptop screen once more while he looked for anything out of the ordinary. When one finally caught his attention, he stared at it. "Dean," he called to his brother before motioning him over, "Come look at this."

Ally sighed, looking over the pile of paperwork she had received after speaking with the town sheriff. This hasn't been the first time this town had its problems, before she showed up she searched for any evidence or history and there was quite a bit to get through. Hopefully after digging through the information she'd be able to figure out where this thing would be targeting.

Dean couldn't lie, he had been enjoying the little bit of relaxation they had, especially after their last hunt. Hearing Sam call him over, he got up and made his way over, "What did you get? You've been looking for hours, finally find one good enough for you?" Dean looked at the computer screen, reading over what Sam found.

Cassidy eventually moved to start searching online for legends or myths that matched what was going on. It was a learning process and she knew it'd take a long time before she'd know everything, but she was willing to research as much as possible for any sign of something similar. For a moment, she thought about how she'd gotten into this life anyways; back then, when Dean Winchester and his father saved her, there were plenty of others who hadn't been saved. She wanted to be able to save people like that, people who would otherwise die because help came too late.

"Yeah, I did," Sam said with a nod as he turned his attention back to the screen. "The past month, every week, somebody's been attacked. The thing is, each person says they've been attacked by themselves." He pointed to the screen, specifically to a line that mentioned one of the victims claiming that it was like looking in a mirror, except, at one point, the other person's eyes changed in a weird way. "It's only a matter of time before these attacks become more serious. Who's to say the next attack won't end in death?"

Ally finally finished through the paperwork after a few hours, she had started writing down the similarities between all the attacks. The whole reason she had gotten herself into this was because of her best friend, the way Jess had passed just didn't seem to sit right with her. After looking into it, she realized there were holes through the entire report, and from some more digging she discovered the strange things happening all over.

Dean nodded, figuring that Sam was right, "Well, we might as well start packing up, how far from here?" He asked, going back over to his stuff and pulling his bag from under the bed. Dean started putting his stuff in the bag, knowing it wouldn't take very long to pack up and be on the road to wherever their next hunt was. "Like you said, better get there before it ends up killing someone," he grabbed his bag and took it out to the car.

(I'm going to skip Cassidy's part on this post but, if you want, we can skip to when the guys get to the town?)

"It's about 120 miles from here," Sam told his brother before he went ahead to start packing up his own things. "Sounds like a skinwalker. Hopefully, it won't take us long to get rid of it and it doesn't have time to kill somebody before then." He knew it would be easier said than done, though. Skinwalker tended to change their appearance frequently and who knew what it currently looked like or who it might be getting ready to attack?

(Okay, we can skip to them getting to town. I'll skip Ally's part for now.)
Dean yawned as they finally crossed the town line, he kept an eye out for the hotel and pulled into the parking lot, "You wanna go check in, I'll start unloading the stuff." He got out, watching as Sam went to the office part, when he came back, Dean grabbed the bags and brought them inside. "We better get ready for this."

It had been fairly easy to get them a room and he held the key firmly in his hand when he made his way back. Arching a brow, he grabbed his own bags and headed to the room. "Maybe we should start by talking to the most recent victim," he suggested, "Or we could just jump straight to trying to find this thing and put it down."

"Let's talk to the victim and hopefully that could lead us to it," Dean grabbed the keys, "The sooner we put this thing down, the better. Where's the last poor bastard that ran into this thing?" He waited a minute for Sam to find where they'd be going, when he said the victim had gone home after leaving the hospital.

It hadn't taken too long for Sam to find the guy's address after a few calls and he wrote it down before he looked to Dean. "Let's go," he said as he held up the slip of paper he'd written the address on. "But... We should probably go easy on the guy. He probably feels crazy or something, since nobody seems to really believe him, aside from those who went through the same thing."

Dean nodded, "Well it's not like we're gonna march in there and start talking about skinwalkers and everything else, we'll go about it just like we should, figure out what happened and see if we can trace where this thing will be next." He walked out and got in, once Sam was in, he drove to the address, "Let's see what kind of crazy it made this guy," he parked and got out.

"Let's hope for the best," Sam muttered as he climbed out of the car and headed to the door. If they got lucky, they'd learn something important about this skinwalker. They'd probably have to visit other victims, see if there was a pattern, but he wasn't entirely sure if a pattern would even exist when it came to this skinwalker.

Dean walked to the door, "Maybe we can get lucky this once," he knew it was a long shot and would probably never happen, but he could hope. He knocked on the door, turning to look at Sam before the door opened. When it did, he looked, "Hi, we're here to just ask you a few questions about your attacker..." He held up his badge, "Mind if we come in?"

(I figured the girls would have already talked to him but, if you prefer that they hadn't, I'll just edit this!)

When the man answered the door, Sam wasn't surprised to see the slight annoyance on his features. He, however, was surprised to hear the man say, "Haven't I answered enough questions? It seems like every day since the incident, some cop is coming to talk to me and only two made me feel like I'm not crazy." The man rubbed the back of his head and sighed. "Pretty girls, too. Too bad they weren't here at the same time."

Sam wasn't sure what to say in response and he glanced over at Dean for a moment before he looked back to the man. "Well... I think our questions may be a little different. Do you mind giving us just a little time?" he mentioned.

"The girls asked different questions, too," the man rambled on, though he sighed and moved aside to let them in. "Make it quick."

(That's fine.)

Dean was a little surprised to hear that other people, girls none the less, had shown up asking strange questions. "We'll be as quick as possible," he walked in, "So, what exactly did you see when you were attacked?" He had only glanced at the police report so he wanted to see if this guy really knew what he saw.

The man looked at him, "Exactly like I said before, I only saw a bit before I was attached but it looked just like me." He rolled his eyes, "If it's just going to be the same questions, can this be done?"

Sam couldn't help but to feel like things weren't going as he'd hoped. "No, we have more questions," he said as he tried to think over the questions they needed answered. "Before this happened, did you notice anything weird?"

"Weird? No," the man said, though he sighed, "Is that all? These are still the same questions as each of those girls asked."

"Well... What else did the girls ask you? What else did you tell the girls?" Sam asked. He figured that, maybe, whoever those girls were, this man might have been more open to talking to them. "Did they give their names or tell you how you could reach them if you thought of anything else you could tell them?"

The man blinked but nodded. "They each have me contact information," he assured before he moved to search for it and he brought back to separate slips of paper with phone numbers on them and names. "You can just write a copy down yourselves."

Dean let Sam write down the information, "Alright, I guess that's all we need." He stood up, "Thank you for your time," he walked out the door with Sam, once they were almost to the car, he looked at him, "What the hell? Two girls, not working together, but they're both here working." Once they got in, he looked at the information, "Which do we check out first?"

"They only gave first names, too," Sam muttered as he scanned over the names for a moment and sighed. "We could each call one of them? Get them both out of the way faster?" But, it was weird that two others were in the town. Were they hunters or was it just coincidence that the girls seemed to ask the man questions that the man thought were odd?

Dean thought for a minute, "Try calling one, if they answer, we can figure out what they think they're onto." He looked at Sam, "There weren't any similarities between any of the attacks? There has to be something to get us to the next target..." He still didn't like the idea that these girls were running around trying to do their job.

"We may have to go talk to other victims," Sam admitted as he pulled out his phone and typed in the number. "Or maybe these girls have already figured out the connection," he joked lightly before he pressed the call button.
