I Don't Wanna Be In Love

illiana huffed as she drove toward Johnny's house, a scowl placed on her face. Her parents had just told her that they were going away for the summer so for her summer vacation, she had to spend it at her brothers house. She hadn't seen him since she was in middle school because her parents had sent her to boarding school in an entirely different country and with his band touring and making music, he had never had the time to go see her.

Illiana pulled up to Johnny's house and pulled into the driveway, cutting the engine to her truck. She hopped out and locked the doors as she walked up the walkway, deciding not to bring her bags inside the house yet because if she ended up not staying, she would just go back to campus and enroll for a summer semester. She walked up to his door and checked it to see if it was unlocked, the knob twisting to prove it was. She walked right inside and looked around before she heard a few voices. She headed for the area she heard the voices, and stood in the doorway of the kitchen with a raised eyebrow, placing her hand on her hip as she stared at her brother with two other guys.

The current topic at hand within the group was the fact that Johnny's sister would be staying with him. Matt briefly remembered Johnny's sister vaguely, but Brian on the other hand.. Well, he didn't even know Johnny had a sister. Brian didn't listen to Johnny much; he was a good bassist, sure, but a tad annoying at times to him.

When the three looked up to the figure in the door-frame, Matt was the first to speak. "I'm guessing you're Illiana?" Matt spoke first, a soft smile on his face. Brian was currently studying Illiana discreetly - no way was someone as attractive as her related to Johnny. He would occasionally look between Johnny and Illiana, still not believing this was possible.

"No shit, Matt. Why else would she be here?" Brian said with a slight hint of sarcasm, as Johnny cleared his throat.

"It's good to see you again, Illiana."

"Gee, Johnny - years of not seeing her, and you reply with 'good to see you'.. You're a charmer, really."

"Cut it out Brian." Matt sighed, before returning his gaze to Illiana. "They're best friends; but Brian takes the piss outta' Johnny alot." He said with a small chuckle.

Illiana watched as the three interacted and stood there silently for a minute. Her eyes ran over Matt and she was surprised that he was still as sexy as ever. She had always found him attractive when she was younger. Those hazel eyes and that dimpled smile. They were to die for.

But when her eyes landed on the guy next to him, her eyes widened just a tad so it wasn't too noticeable. He had spiked up brown hair and chocolate brown eyes that, when you looked into them, you could stare into them all day. She didn't know who he was but from what Matt had said, he must've been Brian.

"Matt, boy has it been a long time," she said as a slight smirked formed on her lips. She then turned to face Johnny and rolled her eyes. "That's all I get after all those phone calls and you helping me out of the trouble I got into at boarding school?" she asked with a pout.

Matt just smiled more, showing off his dimples at her comment. Johnny simply took a step towards Illiana, and opened his arms. "Lemme' try that again. Illiana, my dearest sister; I've missed you." Without hesitation, he hugged Illiana, and Matt simply let out a chuckle at the display.

Brian looked over at Matt, and simply mouthed 'she's hot' to him, and as a result Matt narrowed his eyes at Brian. Illiana did certainly grow since he last saw her; and she was something he could look at all day.. But, for some reason, when Brian said that he felt a slight tinge of anger in him.

"So, are you staying over here for the summer?" Brian asked with a smirk, as Matt simply rolled his eyes but continued to smile at the woman.

Illiana hugged Johnny back for a minute before stepping away. She moved so that she could sit at one of the stools at the counter, grabbing one of the apples in the basket sitting there. She looked over at the mysterious Brian guy as he asked if she was going to be there for the summer and she nodded her head slowly. "I am. My parents went on a vacation so... Since I didn't take a summer semester, here I am," she shrugged before taking a bite of the apple. Her eyes moved from one guy then to the other and then to her brother and repeated a few times. She was trying to decide who she was going to be able to manipulate the most before her eyes landed on dimples. He had this goofy grin on her face that made her think that him and her brother were going to be the biggest suckers out of all of them. "How've you been, Matty?" she smirked.

Matt let out a small chuckle at the nickname. "I've been good; touring as usual, keeping these guys in check as always." Brian pouted at Matt's comment, and before he could make a comeback, Matt opened his mouth to stop him. "How have you been, though?"

Brian let out a huff, before he walked over to the fruit basket and picked up an apple. Taking a bite, he winked slightly at Illiana before walking off. Johnny stood there until he heard something smash in the distance, as he simply groaned under his breath. "Zacky, I swear if you've broken another glass I'll shove that guitar up your ass!" He shouted, storming off to the kitchen.

Matt let out a laugh, leaning against the wall crossing his arms. "Before you ask; yes, this normally happens. And yes - Johnny does have a mouth on him."

"Which is surprising for his height!" Brian shouted from the corridor, walking to sit in the living room; which was within ear range of the room Matt and Illiana were in.

Illiana stared at Johnny as he ran out of the room before she turned back to face Matt again, shrugging a shoulder lightly. "It seems like theres never a dull moment around here which isn't necessarily a bad thing," she laughed. She took another bite of her apple and contemplated whether or not she should try and hit on Matt. The worst that could happen was that he turned her down and she definitely didn't care if that happened. She could always go try brown eyed guy.

"Is it me or did you get like, a thousand times hotter since the last time I saw you?" Illiana grinned, staring into Matt's hazel eyes. It was definitely a long shot, especially considering the ten year age different but she didn't care. She had been with guys much older than Matt was since she had turned 18.

Matt raised an eyebrow, but simply let out an amused chuckle. "Don't let Johnny hear you say anything like that; he'll have a tantrum." With a smile, Matt looked back at Illiana. "Are you trying to say I wasn't hot before?" With an amused shake of his head, Matt looked around the room with a smirk on his face.

"Because I'm hurt, Illiana." Placing a hand on his heart in mock hurt, Matt laughed before walking towards Illiana. "Stand up; I wanna' see your height - Johnny's up to here on me, and if you're above that, I might take the compliment."

Brian simply rolled his eyes, switching on the TV. While Matt had a cute dimply charm, Brian was different - and all this cute stuff to melt Illiana's heart was making him annoyed. She was a grown woman now; and was no longer a child.

Illiana laughed and shook her head slowly as she looked at Matt with a grin. "I was like thirteen the last time I saw you but you were still hot as hell," she smirked. She was surprised that he was actually not making a big deal about it because of her being Johnny's little sister. Most guys would find that weird if their best friends sister hit on them.

Illiana stood up then, looking up at Matt with a grin. She was like a half an inch taller than Johnny so she was still 5'6 but she liked being short because when she found a guy who was tall, it was a major turn on. "Why only if I'm taller?" she pouted, trying to ignore the loud TV coming from the living room.
