I allowed my horse to fall back in stride with Ezhirri's, to make sure they went the same space. This girl just continued to surprise me. "As much as I don't want to wait, we must. Vaes Dothrak does not know of our arrangement, everything must be set up for a large celebration." I smiled, looking over at her for a second, keeping my hands tight on the reigns. I couldn't wrap my mind around why Ezhirri was so quick to try and please me, why she didn't argue about any of the things I was pushing her into, why she was complying so easily. I had killed her father, I was forcing her away from her family... It was probably all the stories she had heard of me, she was probably just scared of what I would do if I was angered.

It was only about an hour later, we were approaching the large, grand statue of the two stallions that marked the entrance to the city. A smile broke across my face as I quickly shouted, almost loud enough for my whole khalasar to hear, "Hurry up! The city awaits!"

I had heard tales of Bharbo, Drogo's father, even before I heard tales of Drogo himself. There was no way that I was ever going to anger him purposefully. I knew that I had done things that I shouldn't have, like laughing at him, and as much as I was used to pressing my luck, I wasn't wanting to with Drogo. Not yet, anyway. Not until we were closer, which I hoped one day we would grow to be.

When the city's skyline came into view, I was amazed by just how grande everything appeared to be. The only real thing that I could see was the statue of the two stallions but they were more than I had seen in a long time. Urging my horse to walk a bit faster, I glanced to Drogo. A small smile had found its way onto my face and I couldn't have hoped to hide it if I had wanted to. "How long will we stay? Just until the day after tomorrow?" I asked, curious as to hw long we would get to enjoy our capitol city.

It was refreshing to see a smile on Ezhirri's face. She could have taken all the events of the past twenty-four hours a lot harder than she was, making this whole ordeal a pain in my ass, but she wasn't. She was almost taking in stride with grace. "The festivities of our wedding are sure to span at least three days." I told her. Most weddings between a Khal and his chosen only took one day's time, but that was only when the Khal was less powerful, with a short pony-tail, and when his bride was a slave girl he had just picked up from anywhere. It was a completely different affair when it was a strong, well known, legend of a Khal, and since Ezhirri's father was also a powerful Khal, and she was already a Khaleesi, this truly was a marriage to celebrate.

As my khalasar entered the city through the stallions, residents parted ways and glanced at us in awe, and visitors to our market bowed their heads to show respect. We were royalty here, not barbarians. "Ezhirri, gather your mother, we will take her to the Dosh Khaleen."

I couldn't even hide my shock when Drogo explained that our wedding would take more than your typical day. I knew that he was a Khal that my father would have been happy to see me wed. He was powerful, able to provide for his people, and as my father would put it, able to provide for me. I was a khalakki, I hadn't realized our status would make such an impact on our wedding. Growing up, I had more or less stayed away from a lot of the traditions that I would never be involved in. I hadn't thought that I would ever get married and if anything, it would have been to a warrior my father deemed fit. Instead, all of it was changing in the matter of a day.

Looking up when Drogo spok, I nodded as I climbed off of my horse. I went in search of my mother, Jassi pointing me in her directions. My sisters stood around with her and I was quick to lead the way back to where Drogo sat atop his horse. I had no clue what he would end up wanting to do with them. Would they remain behind with my mother? Would they come with us? And if then, what would happen? Would Drogo try to sell them off? I prayed that wasn't what he was thinking.

To Ezhirri's likely disapproval, selling her sisters was exactly what was crossing the Khal's mind. They were also Khalakkis, leaving them in the city would be frowned upon by not only the other Khals, but the Dosh Khaleen themselves. Khalakkis should be married and given the chance to give birth to strong new Dothraki warriors.

Drogo turned his head to the blood rider on his right, "Follow them, lead Ezhirri and her mother to the Dosh Khaleen. Make sure they don't get lost, make sure no one bothers them. And if you touch one hair on any of their heads, I'll have your head to mount in my home. Also, tell them about the wedding to get the preparations started." He grabbed his reigns tight and began to ride off into the city. The only family Drogo had left was his mother and grandmother, and a younger sister. He was sure his grandmother would be with the other Dosh Khaleen, but his mother despised the organization, called it boring. So even though she was also a part of it, he was sure she would be in her home with her younger sister.

Once he arrived at his home, he took no time to even knock. It wasn't to often that he got to see his home, so he wasted no time in just entering. "Mother?" He called, letting himself fall onto the couch that was lined with horse leather.

As Ezhirri walked through the streets of Vaes Dothrak with her mother by her side, she found herself growing annoyed that one of Drogo's men were following them. She leaned in close, voicing her displeasure to her mother who was quick to shush her. Drogo was taking care of his soon to be Khaleesi. There were other khalasars here, some would not care nearly as much as others that Ezhirri was Drogo's to be wed. They would see her for a pair of tits and legs and take her, if they so pleased. Just because they were in their capitol city didn't mean that warriors wouldn't do what they pleased. So long as they didn't shed blood, it didn't really matter. Grumbling to herself, Ezhirri had to admit to herself that her mother was likely right.

They reached the Dosh Khaleen and moments later, her mother was dragged away from her to begin the traditional ceremonies that needed to be taken care of. Ezhirri sighed, her shoulders sagging as she stepped out of the tent that she had just been inside of. After a few moments of contemplating, Ezhirri decided that she should go check out the marketplace in the centre of the city. She had heard tales of it, of how grande it was and how many things she could find when there. It wasn't as if she had anything to trade now so she would be window shopping at best.

Drogo had placed Ezhirri's complete care and well-being into the hands of one of his most trusted blood riders. Resting on his mother's couch, he didn't have a worry in the world that something bad would happen to her, he was sure that his blood rider knew what the consequences would be if something did. That, and they were in the capitol city and he was one of the most feared Khals. He was sure she was safe.

Letting this bring him enough peace, he closed his eyes and allowed himself a much needed nap on an actual piece of furniture.

When he woke up, he decided it was probably best to go find his betrothed and make sure no one was pestering her. He knew where she would be if not with her family and that would be the market. As soon as they entered the Dosh Khaleen's abode, he knew they would've just swept up her mother and kicked the rest of them out and the market probably seemed like an interesting enough place to go.

Night was fast approaching and he wanted to find Ezhirri quickly before darkness shrouded the whole city. It'd be much harder to find her then. "Ezhirri?" He called through the crowd, repeatedly before sending his men out in different directions to search the market.

Ezhirri took her time going through the market, stopping at each and every stall that she passed simply so she could see the different wares offered. She knew that she wouldn't walk away with anything but it was still interested, to see things that she had never seen before. Things that she hadn't even known existed up until the moment that she laid eyes on t hem for the first time, like books written in foreign tongue. Her face scrunched, not understanding why anyone would want such a thing. Did they not have medicine men to pass on the tales of their people? With a shake of her hand, she moved onto the next stall.

It wasn't until she reached a stall of clothing and dresses from across the Narrow Sea that she found something that she truly wanted. Ezhirri's fingers grazed over the thin, breathable fabric of a dress. It was the colour of the sky, something she had never seen in clothing before. Sure, she knew that the colour existed in some things. It was Drogo's khalasar's colour, after all. The merchant took note of her interest and offered up a price, trying to get Ezhirri to agree to purchase the item. With a brief smile of longing, Ezhirri shook her head. She opened her mouth to reply to the older woman, only to hear Drogo's loud voice calling out to her.

Ezhirri spun around, her eyes searching the crowd for the Khal she would soon wed. Clearing her throat, she spotted one of his bloodriders coming toward her. She was quick to move forward, ignoring the unpleasant look on the man's face. With a grunt, he grabbed her wrist and led her through the crowd, until they stood in front of Drogo again. A bit of a nervous look came over her features as she stepped toward him, rubbing one arm with her free hand.

"I am sorry to keep you waiting," Ezhirri was quick to apologize, stepping up to his side. "I was just looking at everything that the foreign merchants offer," she explained, not wanting Drogo to think that she had been trying to get into trouble or something else equally ridiculous.

Drogo gave his blood rider a not so nice look, and he immediately freed Ezhirri's wrist from his grasp. Drogo pushed Ezhirri away from his blood rider, turning her back towards the market and leading her back into the crowd. He shook his head and shushed her apologies, "You're fine. I just wanted to find you before it got to dark, you are a trouble maker after all and trouble makers tend to find trouble during the night." Drogo laughed, his shoulders moving up and down with his loud burst of laughter, to make sure that Ezhirri knew he was just trying to play with her.

"How long have you been looking around? Find anything of interest-" Just by chance, the Khal and little princess had been passing the stall where she had been admiring the dress, and assumed, also just by chance, the merchant heard the Khal.

"Oh, the Great Khal, is this your soon to be bride?" The merchant now had a much more happy facial expression, but it soon turned to one of a fear when Drogo made eye contact with him, a little annoyed the spiny man had interrupted him.

"What is it to you, vendor?" Drogo spat the word out like it was an insult.

The man began to immediately tremble, holding out the dress towards the Khal. "Just because the young lady had just been admiring this dress before you found her!" His voice was quaking with terror. Drogo raised his eyebrow again before looking down at Ezhirri.
