Archibald "Archie" Andrews, the name just rings All-American boy. He's even captain of the football team, if that doesn't add to mix. But, all good boys have their dirty secrets, and Archie is no exception. However, he just tries his best to keep those secrets to himself. "Mr. Andrews! Would you please tell me the answer to question seven?"

Archie looked down to his blank paper, he had been spacing out the entire class. He cleared his throat, and looked to his teacher. "Uh, it's.. uh.."

"That's what I thought. Would you please stop staring out the window, and pay more attention?" His Algebra teacher huffed, and continued on with his lesson. Archie still chose to ignore what he was saying, all of the concepts were foreign to him. He would just have Jughead help him later.

Once the bell rang, Archie took off to his locker, and then to the cafeteria, where he found his usual spot with his friend Jughead Jones, and Betty Cooper. Veronica had gone on vacation out of the country, and would be learning while doing so. As if she would actually be learning. Archie sat down, and immediately started eating. "So, who wants to help me with Algebra?" The freckled boy smiled with a mouthful of pizza.

Peach grabbed her phone, popped in her earbuds, and began walking the halls. It was her free period, which was actually her study hall. But she refused to stay in the classroom if she didn't have to, and half the time she would ask to use the restroom, and wander anyway. She snapped her gum, and walked past a few of the classrooms where she made faces at some of her friends.

Finding herself near the office, she poked her nose in, and took out an earbud. "I'm telling you, if one more student athlete gets caught with supplements in their tests, we're going to have to get rid of the entire team!" Peach's ears perked up a bit, but at the same time she wasn't entirely sure how much of a scandal that was.

Peach worked with Betty on the school paper. She also worked alongside Jughead, who still refused to notice her. He was too busy making eyes at Betty Cooper. She wanted to gag, but instead kept walking to see if she could find out more information. She heard one girl in the bathroom claiming to be pregnant by the health teacher. That was newsworthy, but how credible was the real question. She sighed, and continued until the bell rang, signaling lunch.

Sabrina was a very outgoing girl when it came to school work or and such, she was also a girl who usually tried to keep to herself and not get to attached to people or places because she was used to moving around a lot. And moving to Riverdale was no different. She didn't believe her parents for a second when they told this time would be different. Mostly because she was afraid that if she did believe them, and she did get her hopes up, she'd end up being let down. And honestly, the last thing she wanted right now was to be let down.

So she'd went about her first day of school doing her best to keep a low profile so far. Something she'd actually gotten really good at after a while. She'd normally just keep her head down and found a way to convince the principal and her teachers that there was no need to really introduce her to entire classes. If someone really wanted to know her they could come up and ask her themselves, and maybe if she felt like answering she would.

When lunch time rolled around though she was a little nervous. She'd walked into the cafeteria lunch in hand with little to no idea where she was supposed to sit. Being new was never easy, especially when it was your first day. Because she didn't want to sit at the wrong table, after all, if she sat down with the popular kids and they accepted her then she'd be a part of their popular clique which always came with expectations. If she sat alone she'd possibly be labeled as a loner and things could get ugly that way, or she could be sucked into some popular clique because of something stupid like a bet or something. So she looked around for a moment in hopes she could figure something out before she'd stood there too long.
Jughead loved lunch more than anything else because lunch time meant he could eat. And if he were honest he loved to eat almost more than he loved anything else in the world. Especially if he was eating a burger. So there he sat alone for a moment able to enjoy his first bite of his burger in peace. It was, of course, a short-lived peaceful moment as he was soon followed by his friends Archi, Betty, and Kevin, whom Jughead wasn't exactly friends with or even really close to like Betty was, but he dealt with it. He didn't want to be a total jerk to Betty after all and tell her that no one else was allowed to sit with them simply because Jug wasn't the best with other people.

"I suppose I can help you with your algebra Arch, you just have to promise you're actually going to listen to me and not be totally distracted," he told his best friend whom he knew better than anyone. So he knew how likely it was for Archie to actually pay attention to most things, though he did have high hopes that with Veronica out of the picture for a while maybe it'd be a little bit easier for his friend to focus.

Though he'd looked up just in time to see the new girl walk into the room and he knew there wasn't a chance in hell. Of course, Jug wasn't going to say anything because Archie would likely deny it but it was true. His best friend was a little girl crazy, and even if Archie somehow didn't find the new girl to be attractive, he was too nice to let her wander around school without any friends so he'd at least try and make friends with her so she wouldn't be alone probably brushing off algerba for something he felt was more imporant. And maybe Jughead was wrong, but he was pretty sure he wasn't.

[ you're post was fine!! Hope mine was okay! Lol. ]

Archie smiled at his best friend, then he scanned the cafeteria. With a bright eyed smile, he caught a glimpse of a girl he had never seen before. Immediately drawn to the blonde, he made his way over to her. With his hands in his letterman's jacket, he waved with the pocket. "Hey! I'm Archie. I've never seen you around before, are you new here?"

He was notorious for running to all the girls, he couldn't help it. He enjoyed a cute girl, and they usually enjoyed him. Archie was far from cocky, but his friendly personality made it hard to say no to him. "My friends and I are eating over at that table, if you want to join us. And to be honest, it's kinda hard to say no." He laughed lightly, stretching a freckled smile. For the first time in a while, Veronica wasn't the only girl on his mind. And he wasn't sure if that was an issue or not.

Peach made her way into the cafeteria, where she spotted Archie talking to some blonde girl. She shrugged, and walked over to the lunch table where everyone was sitting. She plopped down on the table in front of Jughead, and crossed her legs. "So, my co-writer, we need a big story for the paper! I listened to some conversations today. Apparently Lucy Addams is pregnant with Mr. Milo's kid. I'm not sure how credible the story is, but still! And apparently some jocks have been using steroids." She nodded her head, in her own approval of the knowledge she had just given.

She grabbed a fry off of his tray, and popped it in her mouth. "Thanks, Juggie!" She patted his head, and smirked. Betty cleared her throat, to express her own ideas. But Peach wasn't really listening. She was too busy staring at her dreamboat in front of her.

Peach was out there, she didn't care what anyone thought of her. She was a tomboy, and had a tendency to start fights at the wrong time. Detention was her home, and the office was her vacation. Underneath it all though, she really did care. She wanted what was best for everyone.

Sabrina smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear when Archie Andrews approached her. "Sure, I'd love to join you guys," she said nodding her head a little. She didn't know how this going to go, but she hoped it went well. After all, she may have been new and convinced that she wouldn't be in town long enough to get attached to anyone, but neither of those things meant she wanted to be a loner.

Sabrina had no intentions of becoming best friends with these people, she didn't plan on falling in love with any of them, and she didn't figure that any of them would really stay in touch when she did move. But that didn't mean she couldn't sit with them and at least be able to go home and tell her parents that she'd talked to people. "Oh yeah, I'm Sabrina by the way," she finally said once she realized that she'd been totally rude by not introducing herself.
Jughead rolled his eyes and went right back to eating his lunch. Honestly, he wasn't even a little shocked that Archie had gotten up and run off to the new girl. He'd called it actually. That didn't make it any less annoying though. He supposed he put up with it all because even though it was weird Archie was his best friend and Jughead would always be there for Archie. Just like he hoped Archie would always be there for him.

Jughead looked up from his food and pulled himself back to reality when he'd heard Peach talking to him. "If the whole story about Lucy being pregnant with Mr. Milo's kid is true well I'd be a little grossed out honestly," he said still not sure how student teacher things got started it was such a strange concept. Not to mention it was kind of illegal and overall there were just so many things wrong with the idea of a student and teacher being together that he just didn't get it. "Both are great ideas for what I'm sure would be an amazing headliner. But one is disgusting to even think about, and we also don't know how true it is, and the other I feel like would get nowhere given who the jocks are and who their parents are," he said sighing. He wanted to write about both ideas, but he also wasn't sure how either idea would really pan out. "I guess we could try one if you wanted though."
