Death. That was something he thought he would be used to by now as it seemed everyone that got close to him died. Camden, his father, and now her. Who's next? He couldn't understand how they all kept fighting. How now with a bounty on his head Scott managed to keep it all together and not only convinced Isaac from going off to France, also managed to provide hope in the brown haired Beta despite it only being a small flicker. "Assassins and a hit list, just perfect. " The male mumbled to himself before rolling his eyes and slipping into his hoodie. In the past year, Isaac had moved out of Scott's home and into the Argent household. It could be viewed as a coping mechanism, despite the fact that Mr. Argent would never admit he's happy coming home to a house that's not filled with silence.

The male then tied his sneakers before grabbing his cell phone and keys and heading out the door. The group planned on meeting up at the Nemeton to discuss the current happenings within the group. Scott had a plan, hopefully this year would end in less death.

It was still dark out, and the air had a harsh chill to it. If they weren't running, Willow would've been able to feel the brisk cold air on her skin. But even if she did, it didn't matter. Right now they had to run. And keep going forward. Her hand slipped from the grasp of her sister's as she picked up the pace, only for her to come to a screeching halt as she came to the edge of a cliff. She looked back to see where her sister was but was met with glowing red eyes. Snarling jaws snapped at her, and the next thing she knew she was falling.

Willow woke up with a sharp gasp, she had fallen out of her bed due to the nightmare. She had been having them for a while now, but she didn't dare let Amelia know about the dreams as she didn't want to worry her sister. Besides, being a high school student is stressful enough. They had managed to get settled in nicely within the new town. Amelia was currently a student at the local high school, and Willow did waitress jobs throughout some of the restaurants and bars. They kept a low profile in the town, and Willow wanted to keep it that way. Rising to her feet, Willow went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth before going to fix breakfast so they could start their day.

While this wasn't the first year Amelia was attending school, it was the first that she'd be there without anybody she knew. Her sister was out of high school and everybody she'd been in the pack with was still with the alpha across the country. This was a reality she had to deal with, but at least she got to try to be normal instead of listening to the other pack-mates talk about how great it was to be a werewolf. It wasn't great at all; it was next-level torment. As she was getting ready for the day, though, she paused when she heard a noise and her brows furrowed.

Moving to her sister's room, she knocked lightly on the door. "Willow? Are you okay?" she called out. She wasn't really fond of leaving for school without seeing her sister, so she probably would have come to the room regardless, but she was fairly concerned after hearing the noise. Had her sister fallen out of bed? Idly, Amelia recalled that it probably wasn't the first time it'd happened even this week. While she wasn't sure what was going on, she figured that, if her sister wanted to talk about it, she would; until then, all Amelia could really do was just let her sister know she was there.
Weakness wasn't something that Derek was really used to. He'd been born a werewolf, so he'd always known the strength that came with it, but ever since Kate had abducted him and turned him into a teenager for a while, he could feel his strength and powers draining. Even his eyes wouldn't glow properly and Derek wasn't entirely sure how to deal with that. It was a struggle and he couldn't really bring himself to mention it to any of the others. They each had their own things to deal with and he was in no way eager to add to that concern or trouble; it was best to just keep it to himself.

Sighing, he glanced at his cell phone, seeing the request from Scott for them all to meet at the Nemeton. Was there a point in this? The assassins seemed more than eager to kill all of them in an attempt to get paid, but they didn't even know who was behind the deadpool. How could they be sure they'd be able to protect each other? In the state he was in, he doubted he'd be of any help in the end at all, really. Regardless, he went ahead to slip his phone into his pocket without acknowledging Scott's text with a response, and got ready before he headed outside. While meeting at the Nemeton was the least of his worries, he figured it would be best to listen to Scott's plan, so it was his only option right now.

Upon arriving, Isaac saw the familiar faces of those who have become like family, even as dysfunctional as it may seem. There was Peter, Deaton, Stiles, Ethan, Derek and at the center of them all, Scott. Shoving his hands into his pockets, Isaac awaited the newly turned Alphas speech. "With the Deadpool being out there, I don't think it's safe for any of us to be running around here alone. We need to be in pairs. Have someone always watching our back. " Isaac nodded slowly with a raised eyebrow before his eyes shifted to that of the eldest Hale as Peter made a snide comment about a 'buddy system'. Isaac simply rolled his eyes before placing them back on Scott who began pairing up those that were there. Scott and Stiles, Peter and Derek, and he and Ethan. It was funny, just a year ago the boy was running for his life courtesy of the Ginger haired male and now he was to watch his back.

But of course that wasn't the true plan, no. The true plan was explained weeks before when they were in Deaton's clinic. Scott knew every move they made they were being watched. However, the assassins didn't know that they knew. This meeting was just simply them hiding in plain sight.
Willow wasn't certain if these dreams were true dreams or just memories. The most recent one was a memory, she was sure of that as it was a replaying of the night they left but with minor differences, as they were caught in her dream. Still, until she knew what the dreams meant, she'd keep them to herself. As she brushed her teeth, she heard the voice of her sister. She nodded once before spitting and giving a verbal answer. "I'm fine. I slipped on some clothes as I got out of bed. I guess it's time I do some laundry." She stated with a added chuckle to further prove the lie true.

Placing the plates of toast bacon and eggs, Willow looked to her sister. "Anything you wanna do after school? Today's the day I get my check. Maybe we can go see a movie or something." She offered before turning to grab two glasses for orange juice. 'Seeing a movie, or going shopping. That's something normal, right?' She then thought to herself as she placed the drinks and took her seat.

Admittedly, Amelia was relieved to hear that it hadn't been anything serious. They'd had a rough couple of months ever since they ran from their alpha. Things were still tense and Amelia knew there was the possibility that they wouldn't be safe forever, but, for now, she wanted to be normal. "I can help with laundry when I get home," she offered after a moment as she moved to lean on the counter, watching her sister, though she soon moved to sit down to eat. For a moment, she thought about the suggestion to do something after school and soon nodded.

"Sure. Let's just avoid anything with wolves." It was a joke, probably one of bad taste, considering everything they'd been through, but she didn't want to risk bringing up the bad memories from their alpha by watching a movie with wolves. "Or we could just wing whatever we decide to do." She offered a small grin, then, and shrugged as she finished her meal before long and moved to wash her plate and cup. "What do you plan to do today until I get back?" After all, she wasn't sure if Willow had work today or not, but she did want to know that her older sister wouldn't just end up cooped up in their home all day.
The last thing Derek really wanted was to get stuck with Peter. While Peter was his uncle and he accepted their blood relations, he didn't really want to deal with Peter. He knew Peter tended to go behind their backs and cause trouble and, really, he doubted that Peter would be all that eager to come to Derek's aid if something ended up happening. Peter only cared about Peter, they all knew that, even if Peter pretended to care about the pack. Plus, he doubted that Peter really enjoyed being ordered around by a teenager, but Derek didn't really care too much about that. He'd given up his alpha status to save Cora and he wouldn't change that.

"If that's all, I think we can all go our separate ways for now," he mentioned to Scott, as he knew the younger ones needed to get to school, anyways. He shot Peter a look, his eyes narrowed, because he wasn't going to hide that he didn't want to be stuck with his uncle. Unfortunately, he knew that he may have to rely on Peter anyways, because he was growing weaker. Sighing, he went ahead to turn to leave, hoping to get away and find something to occupy him for the rest of the day. While he was sure Peter would find some way to include himself, Derek mostly hoped that Peter would stick to his status quo of doing his own thing.

Isaac looked to Scott as he awaited further instructions. Hoping that Ethan and he didn't have to be glued at the hip. Maybe it was only while he was out and roaming the town. Back out the house he had Mr. Argent. 'We could be our own buddy system.' Isaac thought to himself. As Derek spoke up, Isaac couldn't help but to chuckle once as he caught the look Derek gave Peter, only to earn a glare from Peter himself. His eyes drifted over to Scott as he dismissed everyone before he looked to Ethan. Without Aiden around, maybe it won't be that bad having Ethan as back up. It could be worse. He could have Peter. The group went their separate ways, Derek to do Derek, Deaton back to the clinic, Peter to do his secret scheming as per usual, and the teens off to school.

When Isaac arrived at the school, he was stopped by Ms. Morell, which he found to be odd considering they haven't spoken outside of the group in a long while. She explained to him that there was going to be a new student coming to the school, and considering they have most of the same classes except for one, she felt he would be the perfect person to show said student around. Who was Isaac to say no to Ms. Morell? She had been there in his times of need when he felt no one would listen. "Of course." He responded with a smile. She then handed him a slip of paper with the student's name and locker number prior to saying 'thank you' and taking her leave. Isaac looked over the information on the paper before heading to his own locker and grabbing his books for the day.
As Amelia offered to help with the laundry when she got home, Willow nodded her head some. "if there's any left for you to do after you finish your homework, sure." She said with a smile before taking a bite of her food. Willow then smiled as Amelia agreed to the movies. "No wolves, you got it." She then said before taking a drink of her orange juice. As the questioned was asked Willow shrugged lightly. "I have a shift, but it's a short one, just overseeing some deliveries. I guess I'll go shopping and just get some small things we need around the house. Paper towels, deodorant, dish soap.." She said trailing off as she glanced around their home, making a mental note of the things they needed.

"If you're not home yet by the time I'm done, I guess I'll just suffer the silence." She teased. It warmed her heart how Amelia tried to look after her as well. For the longest time it had just been them, perhaps Willow was too busy playing mom to notice that Amelia was trying to take care of her as well. "Try to make some friends today, okay? That way you have someone your own age to talk to about the current hottest boy band or superhero." She finished with a chuckle.

A quiet laugh escaped Amelia's lips but she nodded nonetheless. "I'll rush home," she promised with a small grin, "I wouldn't want you to suffer all alone." She winked teasingly but finished cleaning the dishes and put them away before she moved to grab her backpack. "And I promise to tell you all about my day and every single friend I make or every cute guy I run into," she joked lightly as she slipped the straps of her backpack over her shoulder and looked to her sister. "But, since you've got a shift and plan to shop a bit, be careful, okay?" While her sister was the older one, they were all each other had and Amelia didn't want to lose her sister.

Quickly moving over, she gave Willow a hug, just a quick one because she didn't want to run late for her first day. When she pulled away, she watched her sister for a moment but eventually turned because she knew she had to leave. If she was going to pretend to be normal, it wouldn't do her any good to be late on her first day. Plus, she was sure most schools did that whole Show the new student around thing and she didn't want to make whoever got stuck with her wait for too long.
When Derek got far enough away from the group, he let himself relax. Ever since he'd returned to this... age, it was difficult to really deal with everything that had happened. It was strange enough that he'd been turned back into a teenager, but with the deadpool happening, he wasn't really sure how to handle it all. It was easier to just push it all away - the uncertainty, the concern. There was so much going on, though, and that just made things... hard to process, probably for everybody. It wasn't anything new for the pack, to always face danger and risk dying in the end, but it didn't make things any easier. They weren't numb to any of this - and, worst of all, most of the pack was just kids, teenagers who'd gotten dragged into it.

Shrugging the thought aside, he figured that he needed to get food for his home. While he didn't do errands like these often, he knew that he needed to keep his health up right now due to his growing weakness. After all, he still didn't have any answers about what was going on with him - there was the possibility of him getting sick if he was really as weak as he felt, and he didn't want nor need that, especially with the pack relying on him.

Shoving all but one of his books into his backpack, Isaac went over to where the student's locker was. He laughed lightly to himself. It had to be a joke. As the students locker was directly across the hall from his. No sooner did he walk across the hall, had the former Alpha approached him. Isaac looked to Ethan with a curious expression, he could see the other had something to say, he could only hope that Ethan would speak quickly as he really didn't feel like pretending to be Ethan's best friend, as that seemed like the most logical reasoning for him to be following Isaac around without giving up the truth.

Isaac rocked back and forth once on the heels of his shoes as he waited for Ethan to speak. "Sorry for trying to kill you. And for framing you. And for breaking your bones...And everything else we did." The words came out in a rush, if he didn't have super hearing he would've sworn he misheard somethings. Maybe, just maybe Ethan was actually trying to get into Scott's pack without some sort of ulterior motives. Isaac smiled softly before nodding his head some, feeling that the wolf was sincere. "Thanks." He stated. And with that, Ethan left, and Isaac continued his wait.
Willow smiled at her sister's words before finishing up her breakfast and saying the usual 'I love yous' and 'goodbyes'. "Call me if there are any mean girls! I won't come pick you up, I'll just come kick their butts!" She yelled after her sister as she rose to her feet to clean the remaining dishes. Looking into the fridge, Willow made a quick list of what foods and drinks they were out of. The list was small, so she decided to grab the few items before heading to her shift.

Amelia couldn't help but to laugh on her way out when she heard her sister's words. She knew her sister was serious about it, too, which made things all the more amusing. A part of her worried that, if she went to Willow for help in dealing with bullies, it would just make things worse, though. For now, she could try to be optimistic and hope that she didn't run into anybody that caused too much trouble for her. With that thought in mind, she took a deep breath and began the walk to school.

When she did eventually arrive, she pulled out her slip of paper that had her classes and her locker and combination written down. Lifting her gaze, she began walking, looking at each locker as she made her way through the hallway in search of hers. When she spotted hers, though, she caught sight of somebody in front of it, and a part of her tensed. Now that she was paying attention, she could smell several werewolves in the school, but she tried not to think of it as she moved over. "Sorry, but, um..." she mentioned as she gestured to the locker, "I think that's mine."
While Derek wasn't the biggest fan of shopping, he knew it was a necessity, and he knew the basics of what he would need to restock on. And, if he ended up forgetting something or being unaware of something he may need, he'd just go back later, he figured. With that thought in mind, when he got home, he climbed into his vehicle and began the drive to the grocery store. It wasn't a long drive, but he knew he'd need the car to take everything back, since he knew he needed to stock up on quite a bit.

Personally, he hoped it wouldn't take too long. Since Peter had gone off to do his own thing and Derek hadn't wanted to deal with him in the first place, Derek wasn't really fond of being out in the open for too long on his own. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but everything was very far from normal now. Climbing out, he made his way inside and began his search, figuring that he could grab what he needed and maybe anything extra if something caught his eye.

Various sounds filled the halls of BHS, and it always amazed Isaac how different the school was. Like now, it seemed loud and vivacious but those times the male would be sneaking through the halls during the odd hours of the night, those positive things of the day seemed to be gone at night and replaced by all things creepy and wicked. A unfamiliar scent caused the teen to furrow his eyebrows in confusion. Another werewolf? Was the Benefactor recruiting wolves now to do the job that the Orphans and the Mute couldn't? He glanced around for a brief moment, trying to find confirmation in his thoughts to see if Ethan had smelt it too, but the other was already out of eye sight. His eyes then landed on the voice before him. "That thought may be correct. " He started with a friendly grin. "You must be Amelia. Hi. I'm Isaac Lahey. Your tour guide. " He explained with a out stretched hand. Times had definitely changed.
The one thing Willow hated about new towns is the new places. How she had to relearn the details of such places, like what aisle contained what products. "For a small town they surely have a massive store. " She mumbled to herself before continuing her search for the paper towels. But after a numerous failed attempts, she decided on asking the nearest person for help, as it was getting closer to the hour of her shift and she had to go home and change. "Excuse me," she started as she approached a male but regretted it as soon as she did. "Um, do you know where I can find some paper towels? " She asked. He was a wolf, yet something seemed off. Regardless, Willow tried to focus on slowing down her heart rate.

Amelia didn't like this, at all. While other wolves didn't necessarily mean danger, it did mean that there was the possibility of this town attracting attention and the last thing she wanted was for her alpha to catch wind of a town full of werewolves. Despite herself, she'd taken a step back when he outstretched his hand and she could feel the tensionion in her growing. She'd never been around stranger wolves; any wolf she'd been around had been a part of the pack, and now she was just with her sister. She wasn't really sure how to deal with this, but she eventually offered a small nod. "Amelia Thorne," she said after a moment while she tried to force the tension away and moved closer to take his hand and shake it, though she only let the contact last a moment. "I thought school tour guides were only in tv dramas."
Derek was mildly surprised to hear somebody talking to him, but it only took for him to look at her for him to know what she was. He couldn't smell her - his senses were another thing that was growing weak. But, he knew the look wolves had. They were always guarded upon meeting new wolves, and she certainly looked hesitant about approaching him - she'd probably caught his scent by now. "I don't mind at all," he told her with a small nod, "I was heading that way myself." He'd caught her off guard, so he was sure she wasn't dangerous. If she'd been following him or planning to kill him, she wouldn't have hesitated about talking to him and initiating contact. "I'm Derek, by the way. Derek Hale. You must be new to Beacon Hills." Because he knew all the wolves in Beacon Hills and he definitely didn't know anything about her. With that thought in mind, he began leading the way to the aisle that held the paper towels.

Isaac saw the tension in the girl before him, he could feel it, especially when she took a step back as he stretched out his hand. When she did take his hand, Isaac returned the handshake before releasing her hand. "Nice to meet you. " He said with another grin. As he slipped the straps of his backpack onto his shoulders, Isaac couldn't help but to chuckle some as she announced her thoughts. 'If only she truly knew Beacon Hills.. The male thought to himself. "Nah, I think it's a tradition. But let's face it, what high school doesn't have drama? " He asked, another chuckle soon followed. Glancing at his watch, Isaac took note that their classes would be starting soon, and waited for Amelia to gather her books. "How long have you been in Beacon Hills? " He then asked with a raised eyebrow.
Willow felt something when they first moved to the new town, but after being here for a little while, she brushed that feeling off. But now meeting her first wolf outside of her sister, that feeling was back. They had moved around a bit before settling in Beacon Hills, mainly because Willow felt as if she were being drawn into the town. If there's one wolf here, who's to say he's not a part of a pack? The thought caused Willow to bite the inside of her cheek. His voice brought her out of her thoughts. "Thank you. " She said with a light nod and a appreciative smile before following after him. As he spoke again, Willow couldn't help but to laugh once. "Is it that obvious? And I'm Willow. Just Willow. " She responded. 'Less is best. ' She then thought to herself.

Amelia offered a small nod. "It's nice to meet you, too," she told him, even if she wasn't sure whether it was or not. She didn't need to make enemies on her first day, though, especially not with a werewolf, and especially not when she could smell more. It was best to play nice. "I guess you have a point there. High school is probably considered the definition of drama to some people." Not that she would really know; her pack stuck to itself and didn't bother mingling in schools. After she slipped a few books into her backpack, she closed her locker door and twisted the dial to lock it before she shrugged. "A few weeks. My sister and I waited until we decided that this place was right for us before I could sign up for school."
"Oh, I wouldn't say it's obvious to everybody, but... Well, I know my people," Derek told her with a small shrug. He knew his wolves and he knew those that were in Beacon Hills. It wouldn't have been easy for her to hide out in Beacon Hills for too long without attracting attention. His brows pulled together, though, when she revealed her first name but seemed to refuse giving her last. For a moment, he wondered if he should have Lydia check to see if there was a Willow on the deadpool, but he wasn't sure if the Benefactor would be aware of her being there, depending on how long she'd lived there in general. "So, no last name, then? Or are you incredibly secretive?" Not that he could blame her; he didn't trust many people himself, but the entire town knew who he was, so there hadn't been a point to hide it.

Isaac was certain she knew what he was, and depending on how experienced she was, she would've also known about Ethan and the others at the school. "Regardless of the drama, I personally welcome you to Beacon Hills High." He responded, placing a hand on his stomach and giving a slight bow before standing upright. As she made mention of having a sister, Isaac raised an eyebrow. Had she been a werewolf too? Were they born, like Peter and Derek? He didn't know how to respond to that thought, but he did know he had to tell Scott about her as soon as possible. "For the most part school is boring, but if you make the right friends it can be rather interesting. I'll help you out as much as I can, but I'm not in Chemistry, so you're on your own. " He finished with a light chuckle.
Willow couldn't help but to feel as though his words had a double meaning. However, she was still appreciative of his help. "The answer to your question is the latter. Besides, people are usually addressed by their first name only, right? Unless this town is special and everytime you walk in a room you're addressed as Derek Hale instead of just Derek. " She responded with a shrug as her eyes scanned the other things in the store, making mental note of the items there for future reference. Her eyes also scanned around for others, as one could never be too sure who was watching.

Amelia tried to let herself relax, but there was a big part of her that found it difficult when she and her sister were currently on the run from their pack. Even if they had settled, it wasn't always going to be safe there, and Amelia knew that. But she wanted the chance to be normal, at least for a little while, and being at a school full of werewolves was probably going to make that impossible. "Thanks," she murmured after a moment before she adjusted her bag and glanced around. While she couldn't see any other wolves, she could definitely still smell them and that didn't help to ease her tension at all. "I'm actually pretty good at Chemistry, so I'm not worried. But, um, I think I should get to class."
"Everybody in this town knows who I am," Derek said after a moment before he shrugged. She'd learn or hear the story sooner or later and a part of him figured that maybe giving trust would help him receive it from this wolf. While he couldn't be too sure and he wasn't overly fond of exposing his life, he knew that word would get around to her one way or another, so her finding out from the source might be better, anyways. "A couple years ago, my home burned down, along with my family within it. All that's left is me, my sister, and my uncle. Everybody knows about the Hales, and about me." He watched her for a moment, noticing how she was scanning around and he knew what that meant as well. "You don't have to worry. Any other wolves are at school right now. Aside from my uncle, who's off doing his own thing." Ah, he'd dropped the wolf bomb. Oh well. He was never one to really beat around the bush.

"Well that explains it. I haven't been here that long. And your the first person I've met outside of the mailman. " She replied with a little shrug and slight smile. Despite his eagerness to share, Willow had decided against it, at least she didn't want to share to much. More specifically, anything about her sister. As he told his tale, Willow couldn't help but to feel a bit of empathy for the male, as she too knows what it feels like to be alone in the world, even though she has her sister. Perhaps the male was a Omega after the fire started, but that was a long time ago, and going from her own experience Willow knew it wasn't that hard to find a new pack with open arms. It seemed as if he had been reading her mind as he addressed her feeling of anxiety. Her eyebrows then scrunched together. "School? I take it you mean off to college? " She then said, before finally finding the paper towels.

Derek offered a small, almost amused smile to her words, though he watched her for a few moments, trying to figure her out. "Only the mailman? Have you not been here long enough to explore?" he asked with curiosity. He tilted his head slightly, taking her in as he waited for any sort of odd reaction. He wondered if he should have Lydia check the lists they'd come across so far for a Willow. Maybe at least then, they'd know whether this woman was in any sort of danger, like the rest of them were. "Oh, no, they're in high school. There are a couple of them." Probably more than there should be, but they all looked out for each other; their pack was important, even to Derek. It might not be all that important to Peter, of course, but Peter didn't really matter; he wasn't exactly a pack person, always conspiring.

At his question, Willow paused for a brief moment as she thought of a response. "More like my own personal choice. Some secrets are best kept as a secret. Especially considering the fear of others." She finished before looking to him. When he mentioned that the others were in high school, Willow felt her heart sink. How many were there, were they friendly? She became worried at the thought of them being non-friendly, and her sister not having any help. "Thank you for showing me where things are. But, I have to get going. Don't want to be late for work. " She stated with a light smile before moving towards the checkout.

After school, Amelia had gone straight home to find her sister. She was still tense and on edge after the school day, after seeing and smelling the werewolves there. She’d done her best to avoid being interaction with them; it was safer in the long run and she didn’t want to risk attracting attention to herself and her sister. When she got home, though, she put on a smile, not wanting to worry Willow. The last thing she wanted was to stress her sister out when they already had so much to worry about. “Willow?” she called out as she closed the door, heading further inside to put her backpack down. “Are we still going to go catch a movie?” That had been their plan that morning, after all, and, as long as the day had gone okay for her sister and Willow didn’t know anything about the others in town, she figured there wasn’t a reason to bail on the plan. “How’d your short shift go? And shopping?” As she spoke, she moved to the kitchen to grab a snack.
Derek had texted Scott about the werewolf he’d met at the store after his conversation with her. Scott had mentioned that there was another at school and that piqued his curiosity. Was that why the girl at the store had gotten so tense after he mentioned the pack at school? Did the two new werewolves know each other somehow? With these thoughts in mind, Derek suggested looking into the pair - Scott agreed, but said he was busy after school with Kira and that most of the others were busy except for Isaac, as far as Scott knew. With this knowledge, though, Derek waited until school ended before he sent a text to Isaac, figuring it would be easier than dealing with a call.

Are you up for looking for those two new werewolves?

He wasn’t sure if Scott had filled him in about the werewolf Derek had met, but surely Isaac had at least smelled the other werewolf, the one that Scott had said had been at school. While Derek wasn’t really suspicious of the two new werewolves, he did want to know who they were and make sure they weren’t dangerous.
