Matt

Talia sighed as she looked at the positive pregnancy test that sat on her bathroom counter. She didn't know how this could have happened, her and Matt were wearing protection, she was on birth control just in case. Yet, here she was with a positive pregnancy test.

She pulled her phone out and decided to text Matt. She wasn't sure how he would react. She knew he didn't want kids, at least not yet, he wasn't done with his party life. They had been together for about four years but he was still immature, despite being a couple of years older than her.

Are you almost done at the studio? We need to talk. she sent to him.

Matt noticed his phone light up, realizing almost instantly that it was Talia. She had been distant over the last few days and he was concerned, wondering if he had done something wrong. He looked up at the other, who were currently recording the instrumentals, and flashed his phone as he nodded towards the door.

Reading the text has he walked out of the room had him more concerned than he had been before. What could she possibly need to talk to him about that she couldn't text him. He knew he was reaching the age where he really should be growing up but that was part of why she loved him... He hoped. Yea - we should be done here in about 30 minutes. Want me to pick up dinner on the way home? Or have you made something... he replied

Talia looked at her phone as he responded. You can pick something up, I'll see you soon. she sent back. The next thirty minutes were spent with her pacing around the house on edge. She was so scared to tell Matt.

When she heard his car door slam, she went to unlock the front door and opened it as he was about to pull his key out. "Hi babe." She said, trying to play it cool for now.

Matt nodded to himself, returning to the room. He sat in silence for the next thirty minutes as they finished up, and was the first to say goodbye when the producer said they were free to leave. He couldn't shake the thought from his mind that something bad was about to happen.

He stopped along the way to pick up some of her favorites, hoping maybe it would deter her from whatever she wanted to talk about. As he reached the door, his key inches away, it flew open - with Talia behind it. He chuckled slightly "Hey babe." He stated, walking in with the food, kissing her quickly on the cheek before walking over to the table. "I got your favorite."

"I see that." Talia smiled and looked at him. "I guess I'll just come right out and say it...I'm pregnant, Matt." I said and looked at him. I wasn't sure how he was going to react and it looked like the color drained from his face. I looked down at my food, waiting for him to answer.

Matt stared at Talia, his jaw felt like it had hit the floor and he could feel the blood drain from his face. The word kept repeating itself in his head and he was stuck. Pregnant. She was pregnant. How in the world... they were so careful... how did this happen?

"Y-you're pregnant?" He managed to mutter out, hoping not to sound as concerned as he was.

"Yes..." Talia said. She stared at the table. "I'm going to tell you right now, I'm not getting an abortion, if we decide we don't want the baby, we can give him/her up for adoption but I can't kill it.." she said, looking at the table.

"Are you mad at me?" Talia asked him.

The topic of abortion shook him out of his stupor, rushing right over total is and wrapping his arms around her. "Talia, I would never ask you to abort our baby. Never. I was a bit shocked but that doesn't mean I'm not happy. I love you okay. I'm not mad I promise." He stated, forcing her to look at him.

Talia smiled and looked up at him. "Really?" She asked as she went over and hugged him. "I love you too." She said.

"Of course." Matt stated, kissing her on the forehead. He pulled away, pulling the food out of the bags and separating it. "Have you set up a doctors appointment? I could call Amy and get her doctors name."

Talia shook her head. "No, could you though?" She asked. She didn't have a regular doctor so maybe if she went to Amy's doctor, that would make her feel more comfort. She was glad Matt wasn't mad at her though. "I'm glad you're not mad." She admitted.

"Of course... plus since she's already had experience with the family, she'll be able to keep things quiet and out of the media." Matt explained. Going through this pregnancy was going to be a lot of trial and error for the pair, and the last thing they needed was for the press to be hounding down their backside before they were ready.

Talia nodded. "Sounds good." She said. She got her food and began eating. "Thanks for picking up dinner, babe." She said.

"Absolutely." Matt grinned, pulling out his phone and stepping away to call his sister. Boy was she going to be excited.

Talia smiled and continued to eat. She looked up when Matt came back in. "Well, what did she say?"

"She squealed in my ear about how it's about time and then said she'd text me the number when she greets home." Matt chuckled, sitting across from Talia to eat.
