there goes my life;

Jessie sighed as she looked up at the mirror - judging her reflection. Her hair was a mess, thrown into a bun, and dried black streaks ran down from her eyes, which were red from crying all night. Her lips were set in a frown and she was much paler than usual, probably because she hadn't slept a wink. Last night she told Matt that she might be pregnant - about 2 minutes before he went on stage. He had tried to assure her everything would be fine but he didn't seem sure of it, so while the boys were on stage she got a car back to the hotel and locked herself in the room with 5 different pregnancy tests - all positive.

Her brother would kill Matt if he found out. And what about Matt... He wasn't ready for kids... He was still a kid himself. They hadn't even told anyone they were involved, despite being together for over 3 years. Thankfully when Brian sent her a text, asking where she had gone off to, he believed her when she said she wasn't feeling well. Since they had two shows in Philadelphia, they had hotel rooms for the night, so she was able to separate herself from everyone else without too much question. Now all she had to do was deal with Matt.

Matt sighed as he finished up the show. The guys were going out to party but Matt decided to decline. He wanted to go check on Jessie, make sure she was okay. She had dropped a hint to him right before the show that she might be pregnant. It had been bothering him the whole time.

After the guys left, he texted Jessie and told her he was headed to her room. He got there and knocked on the door, giving her a smile when she opened the door. "Well, what's the verdict?" He asked.

Taking one last look in the mirror, Jessie pushed away from the bathroom counter and shuffled towards the door. Slowly she undid the chain latch, opening the door just enough for him to get in. "Hey Matt..." She mumbled, walking away from the door.

Dressed in sweats and looking a mess, Jessie sat at the top of the bed, crossing her legs. As usual when she was nervous, she picked at her nails as she tried to figure out how to tell him. "I took five tests... they're all postive."

Matt sighed as he ran a hand over his face. "Are you sure?" He asked. He saw her nod and she even showed him the tests. "Shit...your brother is going to kill me." He said, pacing back and forth.

"Can we even afford to raise a baby, Jess?" He asked, looking at her.

Jessie sighed, placing her face in her hands as she shook her head. "Technically yes. I mean you're in Avenged Sevenfold, it's not like your a small nand Matt... you guys are huge. And im the photographer for Avenged Sevenfold. It's not like I'm poor." She explained, looking back up at Matt.

"I'm not getting an abortion, that's not an option." She stated, wanting to cut that thought off then and there. "Now I can do this alone. I can say it was a one night stand and Brian doesn't ever have to know, and I won't hold you responsible."

"What? No way, Jess." Matt said, shaking his head. "You're not doing this by yourself, I don't care what your brother says or does...he wants to kick my ass, fine, but I'm going to be there for you and my child." He said, moving in front of her. He ran a thumb over her cheek. "I love you, Jessie...you're not getting rid of me that easily." He whispered, before kissing her softly.

Jessie looked at him in surprise. She had convinced herself that Matt wouldn't want anything to do with raising a child so his support... him vocalizing he'd be there the whole time, came as a shock.

"Matt I'm so sorry. I really thought we had been more careful. It had to have been that night tour started... "

"It doesn't matter now, babe. It happened and now we just have to deal with it." Matt said. He looked st her, "I'm not going to leave you or the baby, I promise." He said, leaning down to hug her.

Jessie smiled, wrapping her arms around him. He couldn't be more supportive and that's all she could ever ask for from him. One thing she knew for sure is that she did NOT want to tell Brian... at least not yet. She just had to get Matt on board with that.

"We won't tell Brian right now or any of them for now." Matt said and kissed her forehead. He sat down on the bed and looked at her. "We can do this, okay?"

Jessie nodded, chewing on her bottom lip. The first thing she needed to do was see a doctor. They'd be on your for another two months so waiting wasn't an option, however they did have an off day in Boston next week. She could see someone there. "I'll have to set up an appointment... to get prenatals...amd to get a timeline."

Matt nodded. "I know...we'll go on a day off. We might have to call someone back in Huntington Beach and make an appointment for when we get back." He said.

"Well we have a day off in Boston next week... I figured we could go then? And then I could call Amy and find out her doctors name." Jessie stated, pulling out her phone to start looking up places in Boston. She needed to find a higher profile doctor, who could keep this on the down-low.

Matt nodded, "that'll work." He said as he watched her. "Jess, what do we do when you start showing? You know Brian's going to see it." He said, looking over at her. He didn't want her getting in trouble with him or their parents.

"Well... I'm not going to keep it from him forever... just until we get back home. I won't be showing that much by then... I'll still be able to hide it..." Jessie explained as she chewed on her lip. She also needed to tell her parents, though they could keep their moth shit so she wouldn't habe to keep it quiet from them. Hell, they could even set her up with a doctor at home.

Matt nodded. "Okay, that sounds good." He said as he watched her. "Well did you want to call that doctor in Boston yet?" He asked her. He got up and went to the bathroom to do his business. "Hey, what do you think about going out to eat? I'm starving." He told her.

Jessie nodded, finally finding one that seemed to have good reviews, took her insurance, and was accepting new patients. While Matt was in the bathroom, she made the appointment, emphasizing the need for privacy. She looked up at him when he came out of the bathroom and nodded. "Yea, I actually skipped out on dinner last night cause I was so nervous... let me just get cleaned up okay?" She stated as she stood, heading into the bathroom to clean up the dried makeup and brush out her hair.

"Did you make your appointment?" Matt asked as he put some cologne on and slipped his shoes on.

"Yea, it's at noon." Jessie called out, touching up the eyeliner and mascara. Brushing out her hair she twisted it up to place a clip in, letting the feature fall astound the clip as if it were a ponytail.
