"I'm actually gonna let you do that." Rian grimaced slightly. "Not that I wouldnt love to help but I'd rather get this done faster so she can have her bed." He explained, realizing how it sounded.

"Well you're gonna have to put on your big boy pants and apologize to him." Kassie smiled knowingly, looking up at him with her eyes wide.

Whitney nodded her head, indicating that she understood completely. "Ok, no worries." She spoke, throwing her hair in a ponytail. She could hardly wait to change into her pajamas and climb into bed with her little one.

Alex nodded his head. "I'm gonna apologize but I'm also gonna let it be know I'm not going to let him disrespect you or Whitney in my house. Because he kept harping on it and it made me uncomfortable." He kissed the top of Kassie's head before yawning gently.

Kassie sighed, giving up on trying to make him understand it was their fault Jack was even acting like that to begin with. It was his reaction to a bucketload of secrets that he wasn't apart of, and after being their best friend for over a decade and telling each other everything.... he was left out of the biggest secret yet. She was too tired to slip him sly hints. She slid down, resting her head on the pillow as her eyes grew heavy.

Roam pulled into the driveway, handing Whitney the house keys before helping her get Charley out of the car. "Get her inside, I've got this." He whispered, his voice soft, not wanting to wake the sleeping girl before they had to. As she walked away, he opened the trunk, pulling out boxes and bags and placing them in the living room. Finally he grabbed the box for the crib and carried it in.

Whitney put the house keys in her butt pocket before heading to the back seat and getting the drowsy Charley out of her car seat. She headed inside and grabbed the diaper bag before heading to the bathroom to get her daughter bathed and ready for bed. "Better get used to this tub, baby girl," Whitney spoke, bending down to kiss Charley's head. "Because this is where we're staying from now on."

Alex sighed gently, slinging an arm around Kassie as he laid down as well. She wasn't there when he and Jack fought. She didn't hear what he said, about her leaving.

Carrying the large box directly into Kassie's room, Rian couldnt help but feel bad for kicking Kassie out of her home. As he unboxed the pieces he couldnt help but wonder where she was staying tonight. Shaking the thought out of his mind he started to assemble the crib - wanting it to be completed by the time Whitney was done with bathtime.

Closing her eyes Kassie snuggled into Alex's arms, feeling warm and safe. It didnt take long for sleep to wash over her - the only thought on her mind being the tiny human she currently had growing inside her.

Whitney quickly got the baby dried off and dressed. Balancing Charley on her hip, she headed down to the kitchen to set about preparing a night time bottle for her. A soft smile appeared on her face as she heard Rian tinkering around with the crib. This was how things should have been from the very first day that she found out she was pregnant.

Alex watched Kassie slowly fall asleep, rubbing her back until her breathing was in a more rhythmic pattern. He then slowly drifted off to sleep himself.

Rian grinned to himself, feeling accomplished as he laid the mattress in the crib, sheet and all. Just in time he had put the crib together, and while he was exhausted... he was proud he was able to get at least that done. At least that could last a fee month.

He peaked his head out the door, hearing footsteps come closer and clear every step.

Whitney smiled when she saw Rian peek his head out of the baby's room, adjusting Charley in her arms. "Well hey you," She spoke softly, standing on her tip toes to give him a kiss. "Everything's all set?"

Rian smiled into the kiss and nodded, pulling away from her lips. "All set. I'll put the rest of the furniture together tomorrow after Alex and Kassie leave. They both texted me to see if they could come by tomorrow, not entirely sure why though." He explained, more muttering to himself by the end of it. "Hey you spent half the day with her... do you have any idea why she seems so distracted?" Rian questioned as he watched her put Charlie to bed.

Whitney nodded, adjusting the baby in her arms."She was just nervous about the doctor... I dunno why they would both be coming over." She spoke, even though she knew just precisely why. "Alright, my little love," she directed her attention to the baby in her arms. "Are you ready to go to sleep in your brand new crib?

“Well what did the doctor say? Why is she so sick?” Rian questioned, kissing Charlie on the head lightly before resting his body against the doorframe, his arms crossed in front of him. He watched as Whitney got Charlie in her crib, tucking her in softly, with a smile on his face. He was sure that the sight was something he would never tire of. He yawned, more than ready to crawl into his own bed for the night.

"The doctor chalked it up to stress, but he ran a blood test just to be sure we covered all the bases." Whitney called over her shoulder before going into mom mode. She gently lay Charley down in the crib and rubbed her back soothingly, making sure there was nothing in the crib that she could hurt herself with. The young momma flicked on the baby monitor before bending down to kiss Charley's head. "Goodnight, princess. Sweet dreams." Whitney turned around and headed out of the baby's room, smiling at the sight of Rian.

"Well... alright then." Rian shrugged, smiling at Whitney as she walked towards him. Gingerly, he cracked the door to Charlie's new room, and turned, heading for his own room. "I'm exhausted. Come on Whit, let's get some sleep." He stated, heading into the room to change.

Whit nodded her head, trying not to let on how excited she was to finally sleep next to Rian for the first time in almost two years. She followed him across the hall to their bedroom, throwing her hair up in a bun with the ponytail from her wrist. Almost as if by muscle memory, she reached into her shirt and unclipped her bra, pulling it out through her sleeve and tossing it into the hamper. She then shimmied out of her leggings and flopped into bed, inhaling the familiar scent of Rian's body wash.

Rian climbed into bed after tossing his clothes in the hamper, dealing the blankets over his body. As in no time had passed, he slipped his arm under Whitney's pillow, and draped the other around her waist - ready to cuddle. "Goosnoght love." He murmured, exhaustiom washing over him

Whitney smiled to herself, instinctively cuddling closer to Rian as she did so. "Goodnight... I love you." She yawned slightly before letting her eyes fall shut, ready to sleep well for the first time in ages.

Rian smiled to himself as he woke, the sun shining into his eyes. His arm was still draped across Whitney's waist- it was a feeling he had missed for a long time... and one he never thought he'd got back. Gingerly, trying not to wake her up, he pulled his arm off her waist and rolled off his side of the bed. He shut the door behind him gently as he glanced at the clock into the hall, it was 9 am.

Hearing movement he moved into Charlie's room, seeing she bad risen and was playing in the crib. "Hey there sweet girl. Let's get you changed for mommy okay?"

Kassie woke with a start, that familiar feeling of nausea washing over her body. It was sudden, and before she knew it she was on her feet running for the bathroom. Of course, Baz and Peyton weren't very fond of this sudden movement so naturally they had to start jumping around.

As she emptied the contents of her stomach into the toilet, Kassie couldn't help but grown. She had never thrown up so much in her entire life. It was exhausting and she felt terrible because she knew the dogs would wake Alex.
