"You should go and talk to him!" Lori said, giving Sidney's arm a shove.
"Hell no!" Sidney said back. "That's like, asking to get fired." She finished off her drink, pushing the empty glass aside. But before she could ask for another, the bartender placed another drink in front of her. When she gave him a confused look, he just motioned a little ways down the bar, saying a man down there had already paid for it. Sidney looked down the bar, nearly choking on her own saliva when she saw who the bartender was talking about. Mr. Baker bought her a drink? So did that mean he was trying to flirt with her or was he just trying to be nice? "What should I do, Lori?" Sidney whispered. "Should I stay here or go over there?"
"The man just bought you a drink, Sidney," Lori pointed out. "So go the fuck down there! That's what I would do if I were you. Hell, if I were you, I'd let that man take me home and do whatever the hell he wanted to do."
"Okay, you little whore," Sidney teased. "I'll go down there. Say thank you, at least." Grabbing her drink, Sidney got up from her seat, taking a deep breath before she walked over to Mr. Baker. "Uh, thank you for buying me a drink," she said.
Where the hell are you, man? Matt sent the message to Zacky when the other man hasn't shown up after nearly twenty minutes. Probably off chasing tail like he usually did. Matt stuffed his phone back into his pocket, looking up when someone sat next to him. Thinking it was Zacky, he turned to them, opening his mouth to speak. However, he was quickly interrupted by the redhead sitting next to him, who certainly wasn't Zacky. "I'm not a bodyguard," Matt huffed at Annalise. He looked over her shoulder, seeing the guy who had been hitting on her still standing nearby. Now that she was near Matt, the guy seemed less than eager to approach her again. "And actually, I can blame you," he continued. "Didn't your parents teach you to respect authority figures? What you did today is a good way to get your ass fired and I'm sure you wouldn't like that."
Finishing his drink, Matt pushed the empty glass away and motioned the bartender over so he could order another. "Another Jack on the rocks, please," he said. "And uh, whatever she wants," he added, jerking his head in Annalise's direction. It wouldn't hurt anything if he bought her a drink. That's probably what Zacky was doing right now, buying some girl a drink to try and get into her pants. And really, Annalise wasn't that bad looking of a girl. She was actually pretty hot, considering the fact that Matt usually didn't like redheads all that much. "So what brings you out tonight?" Matt asked. He looked around before raising an eyebrow at Annalise. "And all alone. A little thing like you, out at night all by yourself...that's just asking for trouble, you know." Matt smirked slightly before he reached for his new drink, taking a sip.
