Bethany slowly made her way through the hospital in the small town she'd stumbled across. Since the wide spread of this disease. That was turning the nation into walking, dead, zombies. Something that you'd see out of a movie. Bethany stopped slowly and felt her heart race hearing feet sounds scrubbing the debrieed floors. Turning in the opposite direction she quickly jogged through the halls walking into a room and quietly shutting the door.

Daryl walked through the wooded area as he kept his bow drawn. He had never seen something like this. He let a sigh escape his lips as he shook his head. This was something that was truly out of a nightmare, or a horror movie that you'd see on TV.

Jessica had been out hunting since early in the morning, so far she hadn't seen anything. Stopping when she heard something coming towards her, she drew her bow and smiled as she noticed it was a deer. Waiting until the deer stopped, she took her shot and moved quickly once the arrow hit the deer. Following the deer as it tried to run off, she knew it wouldn't make it too far.

Rick slowly opened his eyes, the surroundings were blurred, he could tell he was in the hospital. Once his vision settled, he glanced around the room, noticing it seemed odd that the room was in such disarray. He sat up on the edge of the bed and gave himself a moment to adjust before standing up, wondering what was going on.

Daryl took and saw a deer with a arrow in it. He wasn't quiet sure where it'd came from but he was sure someone else there. He made his way slowly seeing a woman running after the deer. He ran after her as she stopped he pointed his bow at her, "Who are you?" He asked.

Bethany slowly opened the door up as she took and bit her lip. She walked out and made her way down the hallway looking around.

Jessica stopped when she heard the man's voice, "I'm Jessica, and you?" She questioned, reaching down and pulling the arrow from the deer, "I don't have all day, do we have a problem?" She asked, she didn't know this man, and really she just wanted to get the deer moved so she could clean it and check it over.

Rick made his way over to the door and opened it slowly, peaking his head out, he was shocked to see the disaster that was waiting in the halls. Hesitantly he walked out, not sure what he was going to come across, after some time, he noticed a set of double doors, reading the words DON'T OPEN DEAD INSIDE. Turning he kept walking until he heard footsteps coming his way.

"I'm Daryl. Are you alone?" Daryl asked looking around. He took and sighed a little bit as he stared around. He walked with her to the deer and sighed a little bit.

Bethany stopped hearing footsteps. She drew her gun and began walking slowly. "Who's there?" She asked quietly.

Jessica took a minute to look him over before answering, "Yes, I'm alone." She sighed softly, running a hand through her hair before she knelt down next to the deer and taking her knife to slit it's throats before pulling the arrow out. Glancing at him, she stood up, "What are you doing out here?"

Rick stopped when he heard a woman's voice, "Um, I'm Rick." He said, putting his hands up as he walked towards her voice, "I don't know what's going on..." He said as he saw her walk into his line of vision.

"Looking for food." Daryl told her. "Why don't you come back to my camp site?" Daryl offered to her and gave a light sigh as he stared at her.

Bethany stared at him as she lowered her gun. "Where have you been through all this hell?" She questioned him and stared at him.

"Well food isn't easy to come by," she hesitated a little before sighing, "I'll share this deer, I won't be able to eat the whole thing, it would go to waste by the time I could." Jessica decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to go with him, "Alright."

Rick felt relieved when she lowered her gun, "I was shot, I was on duty and got shot." He looked back at her, "I must have been in a coma...." It was the only explanation he could think of.

Daryl nodded his head and carried the deer for her. He took and walked with her back to the camp. "So how long have you been on your own?" Daryl asked her as they walked.

"Wait you was the sheriff shot that day on a call?" Bethany looked at him. "Oh my god." Bethany frowned at him. "Well, something happened and a zombie outbreak has began." Bethany told him.

Jessica walked with him, "Honestly, I started with a few others and somehow I've ended up on my own, and that's been the last couple weeks." She sighed, knowing it was a little unbelievable that she had lasted so long on her own.

Rick nodded, figuring that it must have made news when it happened, "Yes." Hearing the words zombie outbreak, he was surprised, "Like, dead coming back? That zombie? Wow..."

"Damn." Daryl told her. "You must be doing good on your own." Daryl smiled at her. "You're welcome to stay in our group. It's up to you to what you do." Daryl smiled at her.

Bethany nodded her head, "Yeah the dead coming back." Bethany told him and frowned.

Jessica looked him over for minute, hearing that he was part of a group made her feel better, "I think I would like to be part of a group again, as long as it's better than my last group."

Rick was still in disbelief, how was it possible that the dead were coming back? He looked at her, "Does anyone know how it started?" He asked her.

"Hopefully it will be." Daryl told her. "What happened with your other group?" Daryl questioned.

Bethany shook her head, "It's still unsure." Bethany told him.

Jessica sighed, "We got over run, in the middle of the night a herd showed up and anyone that survived split up." She glanced at him, "I don't know what happened to anyone else or if anyone was still alive."

"Unbelievable, zombies," Rick sighed. "So, what exactly happens now? I mean, if they're actual flesh eating zombies, is there a way to kill them?"

"Damn." Daryl told her. "That really sucks." Daryl frowned.

"Shot them in them head." Bethany said growing quiet hearing something. She saw some of them walking the hall and grabbed Rick pulling him into the room motioning for him to keep quiet. "Right now our best opition is to stab them in the head. Just don't get bitten." She warned handing him a hunting knife.
