Jughead’s eyes moved from the teacher and onto Melody when she asked about his sister and Archie, it was something that he chose to ignore. He wasn’t against the idea of his two best friends dating, but he also felt weird thinking of his sister dating anyone. “It’s obvious to everyone how those two feel for each other, the only people who don’t see that is them.” He glanced over to where Mia and Archie were sitting, he knew his sister hadn’t told the redhead everything that had happened over the summer and it was causing tension to rise between them.
“As much as I don’t want Mia dating anyone, I do know Archie would make her happy. But who he’s friends with, also doesn’t ease my mind.” Jug didn’t want Mia near the likes of Reggie and Chuck, he didn’t trust them so he wanted his sister as far away from them as possible. “I guess we’ll have to see if they do act on their feelings,” Archie had never come to him asking him about Mia, but he knew Archie did in fact hold stronger feelings for his twin sister.
Mia glanced over at the teacher and started to copy the notes from the board into her book, “He will once you two start talking again. I know you two are both stubborn, but I also know you can work it out.” She smiled as she looked at Archie, her brother would be fine once they talked to each other and everything was explained. She wasn’t sure when that would happen or who would make the first move, she hoped for their sake that it happened soon, so they could go back to how they were before the summer break.
Mia wanted to tell Archie everything, but she couldn’t bring herself to. She wasn’t ashamed of her Dad or the Serpents, she just knew that Archie wouldn’t see it in a good light. He always did the right thing, so her Dad now being a criminal in a gang wasn’t something that he would ever agree with. So it would stay a secret that was only between herself and Jug, her eyes moved back to the board at the front of the room as she continued to write down the notes that the teacher was going over with the class.
