Little One

Johnny plundered around the lobby of the hotel as guest were being checked in and keycards were being passed around, he sighed as he rolled his neck as he was exhausted as he had just come off an eighteen month tour and his first stop was another hotel room in Northern California to watch a friend from back home get married which wasn't the real issue for him. He was finally handed his room key and he couldn't get up there fast enough where he took a quick shower, washing the stale air of travel off of him and as soon as he stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, a knock came to his door. Johnny scrubbed a towel over his hair as he pulled the door open and it was Ryan bracing himself on the doorjamb of the door.

"Wanna go to the hotel bar and get some cheese fries and a drink?"

Johnny nodded as he turned away from Ryan to rifle through his suitcase as Ryan shut he door and flopped on Johnny's bed.

He threw on dark denim jeans and a black t-shirt as he ran his hand through his damp hair as he made sure he had his phone, wallet, and room key with him as he and Ryan headed out and once in the elevator, Ryan cleared his throat and Johnny raised an eyebrow in his direction.

The elevator stopped at the lobby and dinged."Sylvia's here, ya know,"

Johnny tilted his head back, nodded."Yeah, I didn't think she wouldn't be."

The elevator doors slid open and Johnny needed a drink now.
