Ozzy looked at her and shrugged, "I have a thought, and maybe the therapist can confirm my suspicions," he said softly. He led her down the street and into a arms store.
Zoe tilted her head wondering what he meant. She followed him down the street, his bags on his arms. She looked around as they entered frowning a little at the people staring them down. She moved closer to Ozzy instinctively.
Ozzy sighed and walked up to the counter, looking through things. He picked out some pepper spray for them and looked briefly over the pistols, but decided to not get one. He looked at her, "I'll teach you some things as well," he said softly. "So you can stay safe," he said.
Zoe watched as he looked over things looking down as he did trying to see what he was looking up. She looked up once he was done hearing him speak. "Oh, okay. That sounds like a good idea." She told him with a smile.
"Hmm, I dunno. We have about an hour before we're supposed to go see the doctor. Are you hungry? We could get a snack?" Zoe replied to his question looking up at him. She looked back at the road before beginning to walk slowly.
"All right." Zoe said with a nod smiling as she took his arm feeling like an old couple. She giggled to herself lightly before asking him, "What do you want for a snack? Fries? Or something sweet?" She blinked up at him waiting for his answer.
"Hmm, that means we could get icecream!" Zoe said looking up at him and laughed nodding her head in agreement. "Something sweet sounds nice right now." She pulled him along knowing the perfect ice cream shop.
Zoe hummed a little. Once they were there, she looked at all of the flavors before asking for a moosetracks waffle cone. She looked up at Ozzy to see what he wanted before paying.
"Understanding what?" Zoe asked him curiously wondering what he was talking about. She heard their orders called out and grabbed hers letting him get his before making her way over to a chair and sitting down looking up at him, waiting for him to do the same before biting into her icecream.
Ozzy smiled gently, and followed her to the table. "How weird this whole situation is," he said gently. He placed his hand on hers, "it must be so odd to look at your lover, but have it be someone else,"
Zoe smiled at him, before feeling his hand on hers. She blinked before nodding her head a little to his words. "I dunno. It is odd. It's even odder feeling the same way for multiple "people" that are one person." She explained knowing it made her head hurt trying to explain it.
"Thank you." Zoe told him before telling him to eat his icecream before it melted and did the same digging into hers. After she finished, she smiled happily wiping her face with her napkin, but she had a piece of icecream on her cheek.
Zoe happily enjoyed her icecream feeling like she needed it as a pick-me-up. Glancing up she saw Ozzy's hand reaching out to wipe from her cheek and her body flinched before she could react and looking down feeling bad for that. She mumbled a sorry.
