Heart for Heart

"Shh...." Will said, just running his hand down her back. "I know sweetheart." He kissed the top of her head, holding onto her.

Doing her last round for the night. Emma sighed running a hand over her face. Frowning a little bit she took and sighed. She still couldn't believe that Justin was gone. But she knew her brother would want her to keep going. Though she was finding it harder, she tried. Leaning into the circular, Emma talked to a few nurses as she filled a chart out from an ER visit.

Will had been working, fishing up his rounds. He had talked to the hospital staff into letting him work the same schedule as Emma. He wanted to keep an eye on her as much as possible. Seeing her as she was feeling out a chart, Will walked up beside her. "Hi honey. How are you?" He asked.

Glancing up from the chart, Emma stared at Will. She just shrugged her shoulders giving him a small smile. Finishing the chart she handed to the nurse looking at him. "I'm here." Emma whispered out going to do her final round.

Will leaned closer and kissed her cheek. "Just keep hanging in there." He reassured her as he looked to her. "Are you about to get off work?" He asked.

Emma stared at him, "I have my final round and charting to finish up." Emma told him softly.

"Do you want to go home afterwards?" He asked. "We could grab a bite to eat, take it home, cuddle, and sleep."

Emma looked at him nodding her head, "That sounds amazing." She whispered. "Will, can we go to his grave?" Emma asked quietly. "I need to get over it, I just--" She frowned.

Will nodded, moving a little closer to kiss the side of her head. "Of course." He said, rubbing her back. "I think that's a good idea." He gave her a sweet smile, then kissed the side of her head once more.

Emma held to him a moment longer before clearing her throat a little, "I need to go finish." Emma whispered pulling back and kissing the side of his cheek before moving.

Will nodded. "I'll see you in a bit baby." He said, going to finishing up his own things.

Once she'd finished and filed everything. She took and went to the locker rooms. Changing out of her scrubs she slipped into her clothes. Sighing she walked out going outside. Sitting on a park bench she waited for Will to come out of the hospital. The night, seeing her brother. It all kept replaying in her mind.

Will came out of the hospital. "Hey gorgeous. Are you ready?" He asked, walking over to her. HE walked over to her and sit down next to her, putting a hand on her back.

Looking over at Will, Emma nodded her head. "I am." She replied softly.

Will nodded, getting up from the bench with her. Once they were standing, Will slowly wrapped an arm around. "I am here. Always remember that." He whispered as they began walking down the sidewalk.

Holding to Will, Emma walked with him. "I know you are, and thank you." She whispered as she kept close to him going to the parking garage to go to his car.

Will held onto her as they walked through the parking garage to this car. Once to his car, he unlocked the doors, opening the passenger's door for her. "Milady." He winked to her.
