Jake shrugged softly, "how about we start me with something simple, fruit," he suggested. He smiled, "then when I'm better, we could try the human form" he added

@ Joker;

"Fruit?" Mehki burst out laughing. "Not flowers, not still objects, fruit." She giggled. "Do you have any to put in front of the easels?" She giggled before hearing him talking about the human form. "The human form is a bitch to paint." She admitted to him.

Jake watched her, "you are the expert, so you tell me what to start with," he said softly. He chuckled, "I guess it would be, but I would love to try paint you one day, and maybe you can paint me," he said

@ Joker;

"Hmm, I would say like still objects like a phone or something like that would be the easiest to start with, but fruit doesn't seem too hard either." Mehki admitted to him adn laughed. "Fine. One day." She teased him looking around for pants, but figured she didn't need them.

Jake smiled softly, "a phone sounds good," he said. He put his arm around her shoulder, "perhaps we make one night a week painting night, and we can talk about things if we need to," he suggested

@ Joker;

"Okay." Mehki said giving him a smile before feelinghis arm around her shoulder looking up at him. "If you want to." She told him with a nod before starting to walk with him towards her painting stuff. "Now, we need to set up the easels and canvases." She sighed. "This is the hardest part." She admitted.

Jake smiled and nodded, "well, it gives us something to do together, and if you love it so much, I'm eager to share it with you," he said lightly. He began to help set up the canvases

@ Joker;

"All right. Well, it gets messy." Mehki said with a laugh. She then started to set up the things with Jake. She opened a box searching through it before finding her brushes and paints. She sifted through until she found all of her acrylic paints setting them out. She then found something to put the paints on before grabbing her glasses she used to wash her brushes off. She filled them up with water coming back and then saying, "Well, what are we painting. I'll let you decide." After that, she started to put her hair up so it was out of her face looking up at him, resting her hands on her hips as she did so.

Jake smiled watching her, he looked around the room for something. "How about this," he asked as he picked up a bookend.

@ Joker;

"That'll work." Mehki told him chuckling before setting it down on a stand in front of their easels. She smiled, "You might want to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty." She commented.

Jake smiled softly, and nodded, "okay," he said lightly. He disappeared back into his room, and searched for an old pair of clothes.

@ Joker;

Mehki chuckled before getting their paintbrushes and things ready. She figured he'd just learn how to do it by doing it. She started while he was gone getting the basic shape and color down. She'd add highlights and shadows later.

Jake came back dressed down, he smiled at her. "So I need you to promise not to be mean about how bad I will be at this," he said softly.

@ Joker;

"Ummm, probably will look like a 10 year olds painting, but I've seen people be pretty bad at this, so I dunno. It just depends." Mehki told him with a laugh. "Just start painting. You never know." She told him with a chuckle.

Jake smiled, and began to paint slowly, "fine but if you're mean, its entirely fair for me to punish you," he said softly.

@ Joker;

"I'm not going to be mean! You already said it's your first time painting." Mehki told him with a roll of her eyes before continuing to paint hers. She started on the shadows.

Jake smiled gently and nodded, he began to work away at painting the object. He looked over at hers, for guidance.

@ Joker;

Mehki hummed as she painted, flicks of paint here and there landing on her skin as she did so. She knew she was a messy painter but her work spoke for itself regarding her skill. She finished up her shadows and started on highlighting the phone, not looking at Jake's since she knew he'd show her after they were done.

Jake continued to work away carefully, he was struggling, and soon it was like there was more paint on himself than on the canvas.

@ Joker;

Mehki finished up her own canvas and smiled at it thinking it looked very detailed and such. She put down her paint brush before glancing back to see Jake covered in paint. "Oh my." She murmured watching him before smiling, "I'll go get a wash rag." She took off in search of one before wetting it underneath the sink. She came back and waiting until he was done painting before beginning to help him get the paint off.
