Bryce sighed as he watched Ellis before he dipped out of the situation. He walked out back and lot a cigarette. The girl she had picked was some girl that had been obsessed with him lately. He took a swig of his beer as he watched the drunks in the back yard.

Ellis turned around to grab Bryce and sighed, seeing he had disappeared. She shook her head and let go of the girl "nevermind, thanks anyway" she slurred, and began looking around for Bryce. Ellis stumbled slightly as Matt was pulled off her, and look up at Bryce with a smile. "She was in to it until she saw you dude, chill. She's fucking warped anyway" Matt snapped back, shaking his head. Ellis laughed, having begun to sway to the music, she looked at Bryce. "He was pretty desperate" she teased.

Jason cleared his throat, his jaw tensing as he glanced at her and then trained his eyes back on the lake for a few moments. Without thinking too hard about it, he quickly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in to his lap and kissing her.
