Jace looked over at her, "What do you think?" He asked, "Maybe I will force you ti kill him." He said.

Starr frowned as he put his arm around her. She stared at the fire, not saying a word to him. She hated him so much and she was going to get away eventually. She watched as the fire flickered and the light of it reflected in her blue eyes.

Alyssa looked at him and sighed, "Force me to kill him? That's funny. I'd die before I did that." She looked at him tiredly. She then shook her head again and laid down a little curled up in his jacket.

Blaze didn't say anything. When he noticed her stop shivering, he quit touching her and just stood watch knowing he wouldn't be sleeping anytime soon since she seemed to leave when he slept. He figured it was fine until they got back to camp.

Jace smirked, "Oh I think you would if I threatened to kill everyone single one of your people." He said.

Starr looked at the ground at her feet, feeling so tired. She didn't trust him though. She would never trust him enough. She didn't understand how he r mom would ever help a monster like him.

Alyssa looked at him for a moment before sighing. "I pity you." She murmured before she closed her eyes feeling tiredness sweep her as she fell asleep against the rocky terrain.

Blaze watched the clouds in the sky and just leaned against the tree and finally said, "Believe what you want, but your dad killed your mom when she tried to help me." He looked at her lightly.

Jace smirked and radioed in to his group telling them to plan an air attack on her village. He would get his way one way or the other.

Starr glared at him, "My mother would never help a monster like you." She snapped, "So quit saying that." She yelled at him.

Alyssa slept against the rocks until she woke up hearing explosions. She stood up and went t the entrance of the cave. She gasped seeing bombs and took out, his jacket flying off of her and hitting him in the face. She finally got to the edge of the village and saw it being destroyed and started to cry.

Blaze glared at her and sighed, "You don't understand anything obviously." He shook his head lightly and said, "Be quiet. There are other things in these woods you should fear far more than me." He hissed.

Jace caught up to her moved behind her. "I warned you to take me seriously. Now they are dead and it's all your fault." He told her.

Starr slapped him, "Make me asshole. I could careless!" She snapped at him. She pulled away from him as he went to grab her.

Alyssa stared at her village and turned with teras in her eyes to see Jace and looked at him and just cried before saying, "I'm not the one that ordered it. I'm not the monster that killed them!" She screamed at him stumbling until she fell to her knees feeling her strength leave.

Blaze sighed and wrapped his hand around her chin forcing her to look at him adn said, "Shut the fuck up." He gripped her tightly and said, "I don't have any prblems removing a foot or a hand." He glowered at her. "Shut. Up." He growled his face inches from hers.

Jace walked over to her and grabbed her arm. "Oh but you are. You wouldnt kill your father so now they are all dead because you weren't brave enough to save them." He snapped.

Starr looked at him, "I thought you were someone who did something for good." She whispered. "Apparently fucking not." She said.

Alyssa wrenched her arm from his grasp and punched him and said, "Fuck you! Brave enough? My ass. I'm not killing anyone and no one, not you, not your group, not God can make me! So FUCK OFF!" She screamed at him finally snapping and releasing all the anger she felt. She picked up a rock and threw it at him hitting him square in the chest. "They're all dead because you didn't get what the fuck you wanted and you couldn't handle someone telling you no!" She yelled.

Blaze rolled his eyes and said, "I was. I died. Now i'm this so bite me." He muttered glaring down at her. "You don't know anything so don't pretend that this crazy fantasy world you're living in where people don't die and shit just magically is real! Because it's not, princess." he hissed.

Jace laughed at her, "Do you really think that you are hurting me?" He asked as he walked over and grabbed her. "Let me show you real pain." He said as he broke her arm. He pushed her on the ground and moved over her, "This isnt a place where you get to go home and live happily. this is war." He growled at her.

Starr glared at him, "Apparnetly they dont die because your dumbass is here." She said. "Now I know why they burned you alive you fucking asshole!" She snapped. "I hope it fucking hurt." She yelled at him

Alyssa frowned screaming when he broke her arm. She whimpered haering his words and said, "I hope you burned longer than they do. I hope it hurt worse." She whispered feeling the tears fall. "I hope you remember every moment you burned in that building!" She snapped the tears falling still as she looked at her village.

Blaze sighed softly and shook his head before his arm reached out grabbing her throat and hissed, "You don't know pain." He let go and stood up before taking his shirt off and exposing every single burn on his back and body. "It hurt worse than anything you're possibly feeling." he told her. "And this is your dad's fault, too." he hissed putting his shirt back on.

Jace glared down at her, "Tell your what why dont I let you experience that pain." He said as he pulled her over to the fire. She put her hand over it, burning her. He held her tightly as she tried to pull away, "No you cant get away it just gets hotter." He snapped.

Starr frowned as he showed him her back, seeing all the burn Marks. "My dad wouldnt do that." She said. "You blew that building up yourself and you know it." She snapped at him.

Alyssa gaped when he grabbed her and watched as he put her hand in the fire and whimpered starting to scream from the pain and cried and said, "STOP!" She pushed against him until she slipped out of his grip and held her shaking hand and looked at him. "And to think, I was nice to you." She sniffled and wiped at her face. "I thought you were a hero! Now, you're nothing but a bitter villain."

Blaze heard her words and laughed. "Think about this for a second. I blew the building up, while me and my team were still in there!?" He asked. "I was strange, but I was never a Martyr." He growled and shook his head before saying, "Your dad changed my timer having found it in your mom's bag. He killed her and then me to make sure I didn't find out."

Jace glared at her, "I was never a hero!" He yelled. "I was making a point to show how terribly your fucking dad was!" He yelled at her. "Whar people like him do or did!" He snapped. "Maybe you just seen me as a hero because you thought what I did was right." He said.

Starr looked at him, "He didn't kill her!" She screamed. She pulled away from him. "Quit saying that." She whispered. She slapped him when he said it again before she slapped him again and again. "Shut up!" She snapped.

Alyssa glared back wincing at her arm and hand and sniffled and shook her head. "HE DIDN"T DO ANYTHING TO YOU! WHAT DID HE DO!? YOU KEEP SAYING HE'S TERRIBLE BUT WHERE IS YOUR PROOF!?" She screamed at him and shook her head hearing his words and said, "I SAW YOU AS A HERO BECAUSE YOU MADE PEOPLE HAVE HOPE AGAIN AND NOW YOU'RE JUST A BITTER MAN WITH NOTHING LEFT!" She stepped away before hearing moans and looked over seeing infected.

Blaze sighed hearing her sream and said, "He did kill her." Slap. "He killed her and me." Slap. "He killed her and then me and hid my fucking body." He caught her hand and looked her dead in the eyes. "What good would it do to lie to you?" He asked watching her.

Jace was about to yell at her but stopped when he noticed the infected. "Fuck. Come in." He said as he started to pull her with him as they ran. He picked her up and started to run with her in his arms. He knew they had to get away. He got up on high ground and hid with her.

Starr stared at him as he spoke, "If you want me to believe you then tell me who's this is." She whispered as she took the necklace off that she kept hidden under her shirt. She held it up to him, revealing his necklace he had given to her mom in case something happened to him since it was his mother's and he didnt want to lose it. "When she left me that night she gave me this and told me to hold onto it until I found the owner." She whispered. "Now tell me who's is it?" She asked. She didnt know it was his. She just knew her mom said that the owner would keep her safe.

Alyssa sniffled again not wanting to move feeling her arm and hand hurting like crazy. She felt him pull her with him and tried to run but everything hurt. She felt him pick her up and just let him not caring at the moment. She watched the fires fade away from her village and continued to sob until she had to hide and tried to keep a hand over her mouth but sobs just kept coming out uncontrollably.

Blaze looked at the necklace and flinched knowing he hadn't seen it in years. He took it and sighed softly remembering the promise and looked at her before he said, "This was mine. I gavea it to your mother so I would never lose it. I never imagined she'd die before me.." He murmured frowning knowing they had been close friends. "She never wanted to leave you, she just wanted to do what she thought was right." He sighed softly looking at the necklace again before looking at her gently and giving it back. "I guess it's yours now though/"

Jace pulled her down into some brush and laid over her body. "Shh.." He whispered as he put his hand over her mouth. He was careful not to put all his weight on her as they laid there.

Starr frowned as he handed it back to her, "You're lying. She said he would help me." She whispered as she looked at the necklace. She stared at the necklace as she thought about why her mom would want Blaze to help her. What would he have to save her from. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought about her dad. She sat down at the bottom of the tree, feeling Blaze standing over her. She thought back to her mom giving her the necklace and how frantic and on edge she was. Starr ran her fingers over the necklace in her hand, thinking about how much it calmed her over the years. "She killed my sister that night." She whispered. "She smothered her and told me it was because she didnt want her to be alive for what was going to happen." She explained.

Alyssa whimpered as he laid over her body. She felt him put his hand over her mouth and winced at her arm and tried not to cry out. She was breathing hard and wanted to just leave and get him off of her. She had hair all over her face as well as tears streaming down.

Blaze shook his head and said, "On the back is a B and an M. My mother's name started with M and she gave it to me before she died." He told her knowing for a fact that it was his. He sighed and watched her slip down to the bttom of the tree. He blinked and sighed sitting down and said, "It was worse years ago. She said she couldn't bear to let her children live in these times, and after she killed your sister she told me she couldn't bear to do it again to her other child." He looked at her gently. "Then your father found out about her helping me and killed her but before he did that he made sure to fuck with my equipment because the bastard knew i'd come after him for killing my closest friend." He clenched his fists.
