Boy Meets Evil

Ara was shocked when she heard Jin say that Yoongi yelled and threatened at Jimin, which was not okay. She sighed, "All I know is that Yoongi has been drinking a lot lately, but I didn't think he was snapping at the others." She lied, knowing he gets angry when he's drunk, especially around her.

Namjoon smiled Sounds great! Do you want me to pick up anything from the store while on my way over? he texted back and began getting ready. He was hopeful that he can help Jennie with whatever has been going on with her.

“I told him that was probably it. Jungkook said he was really drunk.” Jin said with a sigh. “I wish he and Taehyung would cut back on their drinking, they’re not setting good examples for Jimin or Jungkook.” He sighed.

Stuff to make kimchi fried rice and I’ll make us some. Please? Jennie sent and then looked at herself in the mirror, making sure none of her bruises were visible.

"Me too" Ara said softly in agreement and fixed Jin a plate of food and then made hers. She sat there quietly eating her food, still feeling bad for not telling Jin the truth about Yoongi.

You got it Namjoon replied and went to his car and drove off. After stopping at the store and picking the stuff that Jennie requested, he arrived to the the apartment that Taehyung and Jennie lived in. He knocked on the door, waiting for the younger girl to open it

“Thank you.” Jin said softly as he started eating. “Speaking of Yoongi, where is he?” He asked, not seeing the younger boy anywhere. He figured he was asleep but he thought he’d ask.

Jennie got up and answered the door, stepping back so Namjoon could enter. “Thank you Namjoonie oppa.” Whenever he handed her the bag of ingredients. She headed into the kitchen to start making the food.

"He's asleep. Yoongi did drink alot so he tends to sleep longer." Ara said, hoping that he doesn't wake up anytime soon. "Maybe you can talk to him about his drinking...he won't really listen to me about it."

Namjoon gave Jennie a genuine hug once his arms were free of groceries. "Where's Taehyung?" He asked her as he stood next to her in the kitchen, watching her prepare the kimchi fried rice.

“I will.” Jin said as he finished eating and then looked at her. “Is there anything else you wanna talk about?” He asked.

Jennie looked at him. “Sleeping. When he’s drunk he usually sleeps a lot.” She said as she looked at Namjoon. “Thanks for coming to see me.” She said softly.

Ara sighed and shook her head. She then heard the bedroom door open, meaning that Yoongi was up and at that moment Ara knew she was in major trouble. She mentally cursed herself for putting herself in this position knowing he was going to be mad at her for talking to Jin and for wearing little clothing.

Namjoon sighed and shook his head. "I keep telling him to ease up on the drinking. " He said then smiled, "Of course. It seems like I haven't seen you in a while and it's like you're not your bubbly self. I wanted to check in on you."

Yoongi walked out to the kitchen when he smelled food and was surprised to see Jin. “Jin hyung.” He said. “What are you doing here?” He asked. He instantly became mad whenever he saw what Ara was wearing but had to compose himself until Jin left.

“I know I’m sorry. I’ve been busy with work and everything.” Jennie lied. She got the food ready and got them down some bowls. “I miss you guys though.”

Ara sat there in silence, too scared to say anything. She just wanted to disappear. Jin looked at Yoongi. "Oh I came by to visit and talk to Ara, to check in on her since it's been a while." Jin said and smile. "Come sit with us, Ara made you a plate, it's in the oven so it would stay warm for you."

"We missed you too. Jungkook and Jimin have been asking about you and Ara lately. They are expressing their concerns. Taehyung snapped at Jin the other day and I just hope that he hasnt been doing that to you." Namjoon said and poured some juice for the both of them.

Yoongi didn’t say anything but sat down after grabbing his plate. “So what else is new, Jin?” Yoongi asked as he looked at the older boy. Under the table, he had grabbed hold of Ara’s leg, digging his nails into her skin.

Jennie shook her head. “No, I’m sorry he did that though.” She said as she put a plate of food for Tae in the microwave. She sat down with Namjoon. “I’m okay though, promise.” She said and looked up whenever she heard the bedroom door open and saw Taehyung come into the room.

Ara flinched slightly at the pain that Yoongi was giving her. She bit her bottom lip to keep a yelp from slipping out. She didn't want Jin to know that she had been lying to him.

Jin shrugged, "Nothing much really. What about you? I've noticed that you're drinking more and I'm just concerned about you my friend." He said, hoping that Yoongi would talk to him.

Taehyung froze when he saw his girlfriend and Namjoon talking in his kitchen. He was furious, how many times did he have to tell his girlfriend to stay away from Namjoon, and yet the bitch doesn't listen. He clenched his fist a few times, trying to control his anger until his friend leaves. "What are you doing here Namjoon?" He said comepletely ignoring Jennie.

Yoongi looked at him. “I don’t drink that much.” He said as he rolled his eyes. He let up on Ara’s leg but kept his hand there. “Who said I drink a lot? Jimin?” He asked, shaking his head.

Jennie looked down at the table the whole time, eating in silence. “I was just worried about. I’ve noticed you’re picking up bad habits from Yoongi.” He said, watching him. “With the drinking and lashing out.”

Jin shook his head, "Jungkook told me what happened, but I've noticed your bad drinking habbits and I'm just afraid that you might hurt someone else." Jin said lifting his chin slightly towards Ara's direction. However, Ara kept her gaze to her empty plate, trying to avoid both Yoongi and Jin.

"Look I don't have a drinking problem. Jin pissed me off, so I told him off." Taehyung, "That being said, I love you Joon, but you really need to mind your business about what I do or say." He continued then went to grab his plate. He sat next to Jennie. His hand reached over to her lap and pinched one of legs hard as a warning for her punishment that she'll receive later.

“I don’t have a drinking problem, Jin. I like to drink sometimes but I’m not an alcoholic and as far as Jimin goes, he was nitpicking and I told him once to stop and he didn’t so I snapped at him.” Yoongi shrugged.

Jennie didn’t move or say anything whenever she felt Tae’s hand on her leg. She just continued to eat while they talked. “I’m just worried about you, Tae.” Namjoon said as he finished his food.

Jin sighed knowing he wasn't getting through to him. "Okay. I just worry is all." He said then got up. "I better get going, I'll see you guys later." He said and patted Yoongi's shoulder before moving over to Ara. He hugged her and whispered in her ear, "If anything happens between you and Yoongi, call me." He told her and Ara nodded, before leaving. Once Jin had left, Ara was sitting there waiting for Yoongi to finally yell at her.

"Look I know you mean well, but I don't need you check up on me or Jennie or think I'm have problems because I got annoyed with someone. I'm fine and my girl is fine, right Jennie?" He said and pinched her leg again so that she wouldn't make Namjoon think he is lying.

Once Jin was gone, Yoongi looked at Ara. “What the fuck was Jin doing here?” He asked. He had already finished eating and he was pissed. “And why the fuck did you make him breakfast? Also, you’re dressed like a three dollar prostitute, you don’t think he noticed that?” He said as he approached her.

Jennie nodded. “Yeah, we’re fine.” She said and forced a fake smile. Namjoon didn’t quite believe either of them but he didn’t want to intrude anymore. “Okay, I’m just worried is all. Anyways I’ll get going and catch you guys later.” He said, patting Tae’s back before going to give Jennie a hug. “If anything happens between you two, call me and I’ll come get you.” He whispered before leaving.

Ara got up from her seat, trying to back up from him, keeping as much distance away from him. "He had texted me to go out to breakfast with him, but I-I'd figured that you would want that. So I invited him over thinking it would be better..." She said them she felt her back hitting the wall. She mentally cursed herself and now that Yoongi cornered her. "I-I should have changed, but Jin is like a brother to me, I didn't think he would m-mind." She muttered in fear as Yoongi didn't look I'm pressed.

It took everything in Taehyung's power to not tackle Namjoon as he was whispering in Jennie's ear. Once Namjoon was out of sight and hearing range, Taehyung slammed his fist onto the table and swiped his hand against it, pushing knocking the dishes that they had from breakfast was now on the ground and broken. He stormed over to Jennie and wrapped his hand around her throat. "You fucking whore?! Why the fuck was Namjoon over? And why the fuck is he saying that I have a drinking problem? Are you feeding him lies about me to him, you stupid bitch." He yelled at her, squeezed her throat to keep her talking.

Yoongi looked at her before putting a hand to her throat, holding her there. “And you really thought inviting him over was better? You stupid fucking bitch. Why does he think I have a drinking problem? Have you been running that mouth of yours again?” He asked, applying pressure to her neck.

Jennie shook her head, “n-no!” She tried to get out. “I-I haven’t said anything to him about your d-drinking...everyone s-sees it, Tae.” She said, as much as she could with his hand against her throat. “I-I’m s-sorry.” She said, trying to pull his hand off her throat.

Ara quickly shook her head no his question. She tried to pry his hand off her throat, she was starting to lose her breath. "I'm s-sorry! I just thought it would better, if he came here instead of cheating people spread false rumors." Ara choked out. "I didn't say anything your drinking , I swear!" She said and then she felt Yoongi put more pressure on her throat to the point she couldn't talk and barely can breathe.

"Oh so you fucking told everyone that I have a drinking party, is that it? Fucking bitch! You don't know when to keep your mouth shut, do you" Taehyung said and, tightening his grip on her throat, "Well I have a solution to that problem" He growled, grabbing her by the throat and slammed her against the wall. He didn't ease up on his grip until he saw Jennie's face starting to turn slightly purple from the lack of air. Taehyung then let go of her throat, but had her pinned against the wall with his body. "Now are you not going to talk to Namjoon or spread rumors about me again?" He asked her in a menacing tone. When he saw her shake her head, Taehyung backed off from her and headed back to the bedroom. "Good, now clean this goddamn mess in the kitchen."
