Meg led Adrienne through the woods, towards Seaforth Port, a coastal small fishing town that was about five miles from where they lived. The two girls had been living there for about six months now, and that whole time they had kept hearing rumors about the small town that was practically impossible to get to. Apparently, it was full of werewolves and the only way to get to it was through the woods. No roads would take you there.
"We've been walking forever." She sighed, pulling her hair up into a loose pony tail and smacking a bug she felt on the back of her shoulder. "Maybe it's just a joke." She looked down at her phone, to see if she could find it on her maps, but she didn't even have any service. "I think this might be pointless-" She said as she almost tripped on something hidden under leaves. "Ow- what the fuck!" She gasped and kicked a bunch of leaves off of the sign she had tripped on.
It was a large, rotting painted white sign that vaguely still said Welcome to SeaForth.
Meg looked over her shoulder and gave Adrienne a slightly worried look.
Zacky had been patrolling the woods, whistling as he walked along, as he did. He liked to walk around the woods at least a couple of times a week, just as himself, to make sure no hunters or hikers were straying to close to his small town. The people living in Seaforth had never been fond of humans and he didn't want a repeat of the massacre he had to clean up about five years back.
However, he didn't have a huge problem with humans, he had been one before after all. He remembered what it was like to cling onto your humanity and he kind of missed it. He missed not having to hide away in a secret city next to the ocean.
He was abruptly ripped from his thoughts when he heard someone yell in pain and he quickly spun around and took off in the direction of the voices. He came upon two girls leaning over the old town sign and he couldn't help but sigh in annoyance. When he told Johnny to get rid of the sign, he actually meant get rid of the sign, not just tear it down. He walked out form between a few trees and cleared his throat to get their attention, "Ladies, you lost?"
