"Of course I want to marry you, but if my father finds out he'd either have you executed or force you to marry me, and I don't want to force you into marrying me... No matter how much I want to be married to you, if you don't want that, I don't want you to feel like you have to, a-and if my father found out and forced you, or if I got pregnant or something, then I'd feel guilty.."

Rowan kissed her forehead gently. "Well don't worry about that," he said softly. He lifted her face up to look her in the eyes, "Princess, would you do me the Honor of promising to marry me, when I've finished dealing with the threat on your life?" he asked softly.

Freya looked up at him with wide eyes, blushing brightly as he asked her to marry him. She took one of his hands in hers, squeezing it tightly, as it to make sure that this was real, and not a dream. She nodded a little, unable to help the tears that came to her eyes as she smiled. "Yes... Yes, a thousand times yes..."

Rowan smiled softly and kissed her gently. "Thank you," he said lightly. He sat back, "But keep this between us for now, until things are sorted," he said softly.

Freya blushed faintly, reluctantly nodding before she carefully slipped out of bed, shivering a little as her bare feet hit the cold floor. "Alright.. But promise we'll do something fun later? Like go to the market or walk around in the gardens?" She asked, pausing at the door to look at him hopefully.

Rowan nodded lightly, "Of course, if you want to go anywhere, as your personal guard, I have to follow you," he teased her with a wink.
