Rowan looked at her, "just a couple, you forget before you, I didn't trust anyone enough to get close," he said. He kissed her softly, "I should head out and find some firewood, and food," he said.

"But your trust me... Why? What made you trust me?" She asked as she settled back against the pillows with Maxwell, laying him down on her chest as the baby started to fall asleep again. "Alright... Be careful.'

Rowan looked at her, "I'm not sure, maybe your beauty," he said softly. He kissed her lightly, "I will, see you in a bit," he said softly before leaving the cabin.

Freya kissed him back gently, giving his hand a squeeze before letting him go. "Be safe, Rowan.." she murmured, watching the door for a while before getting up to put Maxwell into his cot, grabbing a broom to begin tidying up the cabin. In the few hours Rowan was gone Freya managed to sweep and scrub the floors, and she'd rummaged through the supplies they'd brought and found ingredients to make bread, figuring that it would be good to at least have something to eat tonight in case Rowan didn't find anything while he was gone.

Rowan smiled softly, "always my love," he said lightly. He lent down and picked up his backpack of gear by the door, before heading out. He started making his way deeper into the bush, hoping to pick up a trail sooner rather than later.

Freya cleaned the whole cabin and began putting their supplies away while she waited for Rowan to return, occasionally stopping to look out the window to check and see if he was coming back. She was relieved when he finally returned, having been quite worried about him, especially when she had no way of getting home or taking care of herself without him.

Rowan had only been a little successful, he managed to kill a few rabbits. He hung them over on the wires outside the cabin before heading inside. "Oh this place looks good," he said lightly. He walked over to her, and kissed her cheek, "how are you finding the peace and quiet?" he asked.

Freya smiled when he came in, pressing a kiss to his cheek before turning back to finish preparing the bread that she had started while he was gone. "It's very nice. "Maxwell is in his crib, playing with some toys, I think, and I've just finished making a few loaves of bread for us to eat, in case you didn't catch anything." She explained as she finished putting the last loaf of bread in the oven before turning to him, looking over him worriedly. "Are you alright? You didn't get hurt, did you?"

Rowan nodded, "well that was very thoughtful," he said softly. He put his arm around her waist gently, "I'm fine, the blood is from my hunt," he said softly. He stepped away from her. "I'm just going to go change," he said lightly.

Freya relaxed as he said that he wasn't injured, leaning into his arms for a moment to press a gentle kiss to his lips. "Alright. The bread should be done soon, and I think I saw some rice and vegetables in the supplies I put away. Maybe we could make stew?" She suggested. "I don't know how to skin a rabbit, so you'd have to do that part, but I could cook the rest."

Rowan smiled lightly, and nodded, "that sounds lovely," he said. He looked over at Maxwell, "I'll go out and skin it soon," he said. He moved over to his son, picking him up. The kid wriggled in his arms, giggling.

Freya smile as she watched him move over to pick up Maxwell, leaning against the counter happily. Maxwell giggled and grabbed at his father's face as he held him, gurgling when he finally grabbed his nose. "He's getting very big. I wouldn't be surprised if he were walking next week, and going out hunting with you the next." Freya smiled as she began pulling out what she needed to make the stew.

Rowan chuckled, and kept playing with his son. He moved over to a chair and sat down. "Well if he does come out with me, he better learn to be a quick shot," he teased. He sat watching her work, looking after their son, for awhile.

Once the stew was cooking except for the rabbit she moved over to where Rowan and Maxwell sat, pressing a kiss to his forehead as she sat next to them. "Having fun?" She teased soflty, smiling at Maxwell when he squealed and offered him one of her fingers to hold. "Is he behaving?"

Rowan smiled softly, 'Of course I'm behaving," he teased softly. He gently handed Maxwell over to her. "I'll quickly go out and prep the Rabbit," he said lightly. He kissed her cheek, "then I'll be back," he added.

Freya carefully took Maxwell, bouncing him gently in her lap as she watched Rowan exit the cabin. Once he came back with the prepared rabbit she seared it quickly in a pan before adding it to the stew, placing the lid on it before moving back to sit with Rowan and Maxwell again. "It'll be about an hour before it's ready. You have plenty of time to wash up."

Rowan smiled sweetly, and nodded, "that sounds good," he said. He headed over to the corner, and began to strip off. The cabin was simple, large enough for all of them to fit comfortably, but it was a one room cabin. Rowan changed into some fresh clothes and placed his bloodied clothes outside to clean them up later.

Freya did her best not to stare at her husband while he changed, focusing on Maxwell as he began to fuss, the little infant growing tired. She stood and rocked him gently, pressing a kiss his forehead as she soothed him. Once the baby was asleep she carefully set him in his cot, tucking his blanket around him to keep him warm before moving to add another log to the fire. "Did you get more firewood?"

Rowan finished changing, and turned to look at her, "Yeah, I did, it's outside, do you want me to bring it inside?" he asked softly. He moved closer to her and put his arms around her, "I like that you can do things around the house," he said lightly.

Freya smiled as she leaned back into his arms, smoothing out his hair gently. "I had to find something to do to keep myself busy while you were gone... Besides, I was worried that if you failed, I'd have to go into hiding somewhere, and I wanted to be able to take care of myself and the baby."
