Freya blushed, kissing him back gently before looking at him. "Rowan, I.." She started, wanting to tell him how she really felt, but was interrupted by the knock at the door. Freya jumped in surprise when Rowan moved out from his hiding spot, eyes widening when he grabbed the maid, nodding nervously as she did as he was instructed, closing the door and locking it tightly. She fiddled nervously with her fingers, looking between him and the maid, wondering what he could possibly be doing.

Rowan smirked softly, "You've gotten slow Alesha," he said lightly. He looked at Freya, then back at Alesha, "I told you it would be dangerous," he said lightly. He dragged his way over to his weapons, deep in thought.

He had to make a decision, one that would effect his life deeply. He smacked Alesha on the head, knocking her out, then turned to Freya, "This is the Assassin I mentioned," he said calmly.

Freya's eyes widened as he told her that the maid was really an assassin, hand moving to her chest, feeling faint. "H-How... How did she get in? Oh, god, what if there are more?" She breathed in distress, looking as if she might faint as she carefully took a seat at the edge of her bed, watching him.

"I-I'm going to die, a-aren't I, Rowan?" She asked, tears starting to leak down her cheeks as she looked at him with fearful eyes.

Rowan looked at her, "Alesha works alone, but one of your maids is probably dead somewhere," he said matter of factually. He pulled some clothes on thinking for a moment, "I won't let anyone hurt you," he said.

He moved over to her, "I need to think for a bit," he said. He didn't know how to handle this, he couldn't let Alesha live after she'd found him in Freya's bed chamber.

Freya looked up at him sadly, tears leaking down her cheeks as she nodded a little. She felt like she might be sick. She stood shakily after a moment, taking his weapons and holding them out to him, helping him to secure the belts and straps that held them up.

She knew he'd probably disappear after this, that she'd never see him again, and it terrified her. She looked up at him once she was finished, tears running down her cheeks as she stood on her toes to press a loving kiss to his lips. Even if she couldn't say the words aloud, she hoped he knew how she felt about him.

Rowan smiled gently, as she helped him with his equipment. He stared into her eyes, "do you have a blade?" he asked having come up with an idea.

He turned Alesha over, and used her hand to draw her dagger, leaving it out. He looked up at Freya, "The easiest solution, is to make it look like you killed her by yourself," he explained.
