A Letter To You. [closed]

Olivia took a nervous intake of breath as she stepped out in to the corridor. She kept her head low, her heart beating loudly in her ears. She could not believe that Blake Jenson had gotten her love letter that she had written in the 5th grade after he complimented her dress at the prom. She let her hair fall in to her face, shilding it from people walking past as she shoved her head deep in her locker.

She just prayed that it was the only one that went out. Olivia didn't even know how they had gotten out... Last she rembered they we're securely locked in the medicine cabinet of the bathroom in her bedroom. She sighed loudly resting against the wall next to her locker. It was too late when she realised that it was actually just another open locker and she was now on the ground of the corridor with everybody staring at her.

Cole was inside of the school gym, sorting through all of the equipment like the coach had asked to find any footballs that needed to be pumped up. He sighed lightly as he threw another one out on to the gym floor to be pumped. He turned quickly as he heard a little Oof from outside and looked out to see Blair Emerson standing there in her gym gear having dodged the ball. "Woah I'm so sorry,I didn't realise a class was starting, coach just asked me to clear out the balls on my free period" he explained, coming out of the equipment room to make sure he hadn't hit her.

"You know.. you are the only one here.. are you sure you have class or are you just super early?" He asked her with a laugh.

Ryan walked down the hallway of the school, holding the letter that he got today in his hand. He couldn't believe that Olivia had actually written him a love letter. He thought it was kind of amusing, but at the same time it was cute. Ryan frowned when he seen her on the ground in the hallway and moved over to her. "Are you alright?" He asked as he helped her up. He looked down at her once she was on her feet. He had really been wanting to talk to her about the letter. "Can we talk?" He asked. He began to walk with her, "You know I am flattered that you wrote me this." He said, holding the letter up to her, "But it was seventh grade." He teased her.

Blair walked into the gym, having got their early so she could avoid seeing Luke. She shut the door, then dodged a ball that was thrown towards her. She looked up, seeing Cole Peterson. He was one of the most popular guys in school. "Yea i'm early. I'm trying to avoid someone." She said as she walked towards him. She only talked to Cole in class and around school. She didn't go out of her way to talk to him. "If you need me to leave I can." She said, looking up at him. She couldn't get over how much taller he had gotten. Then again the last time she was this close to him it was seventh grade over a spin the bottle game. He had certainly changed since then and so had she. Though she felt like he change more in the direction that people wanted.

Olivia smiled nervously as ruan picked her up off the ground. She glanced at the blue envelope in his hand. "Nononononononono" she murmered under her breath, covering her face with her hands. She sighed loudly stopping in the middle of the hall to face him. "Look Ryan, it means nothing, I promise." She said, falling over her own words. "I mean.. I just... I wrote that so long again and you know.." she said trying to find the right way to explain herself.

Cole shook his head "no, it's fine I'll just start getting all of this cleaned up" he said, beginning to toss all of the balls into a bag. "You wanna help?" He asked her, holding a ball up at her to indicate putting gthe flat one in the bag. "So who is it you're avoiding?" He asked, glancing over his shoulder at her, as he listened to her speak. He had always known who Blaire was, given his ex was always obsessed with trying to take her down, which Cole had never understood. He held the ballbag out to her to put in what she had picked up.

Ryan smiled as she tried to explain and stumbled over her words. "If it was written so long ago then why am I just not getting this?" He asked as he glanced around them. He knew that no one was around them, but he couldn't believe that she had actually saved a love letter she wrote so long ago. "Also, why would you save something like this if you did write it a long time ago?" He asked as he held it up for her.

Blair smiled, "Sure I can help you." She said as she gathered some of the balls. She looked at him when he asked who she was avoiding. "Um..Lucas Anderson." She said as she dropped the balls in the bag. Luke was an attractive guy, but he was an asshole and she didn't like him at all. She looked at Cole, then watched as he put the bag away. Blair frowned when she noticed that Luke had walked in. Blair panicked and tried to think of what to do so she grabbed Cole and kissed him. She glanced out of the side of her eye, seeing Luke walk away with one of his friends to get ready for Gym class. She stopped kissing Cole when his coach yelled for him to knock it off and hurry up. She stepped back, "Sorry." She said, before she walked off and disappeared into the locker room to find her friend.

Vi took a deep breath, trying to compose herself before speaking again. "Look I have no idea how you got that letter, but I promise I wrote it years ago. I kept it because we'll I don't know why but I kept them all and now I'm really worried about who else got them because I wrote a whole five of them and I'm really really sorry but it means nothing" she said quickly, her words all running in to one another as she spoke. "Can I uh... Get that please?" Olivia asked, reaching out to take the letter from his hand.

Cole was I the middle of saying something to her when all of a sudden he found himself pulled in to her embrace. He stood staring at her as she quickly walked away without even explaining. "Uhh yeah sure.. catch you later?" He shouted sarcastically as she exited the gym and finished putting away the balls quickly figuring he would catch her later.

Ryan pulled the letter away from her grasp, "Man, and here I thought I was special because I got a letter." He said, chuckling. Ryan smiled as she reached for it again, "So what I can't keep it?" He asked her. He did think it was nice to have someone write such nice things about him. Even it was was a long time ago. Ryan noticed her glance behind him, "What?" He asked her.

Blair sighed as she walked into the diner that was down the street from the school. She was glad school was over and she was able to avoid Luke. She felt weird that she kissed Cole though. She sat down at the table and ordered a soda and fries. She took a sip of her drink, glancing up when she felt someone staring at her. she realized it was Cole, "Um..hi." She said.

Olivia tried to grab the letter again, hating that he was using her own height against her. As she jumped for the third time she spotted her sisters ex coming down the hall. "Shit" she said under her breath trying to think quickly. At first she crouched down behind Ryan, but realised that was no good, they we're in the centre of a corridor. "I'm sorry" she said quickly, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him deeply. She held it there for a couple of minutes until she was sure that Scott was gone. "I gotta go" she said and quickly picked her bag up off the ground before rushing to class.

Cole sat a couple of stools up from Blair watching her quietly. He waited until she noticed him before laughing softly. "So uhh.. are you going to tell me what was going on earlier?" He asked, taking a sip of his milkshake. He got up and moved to one of the stools closer to her.

Ryan watched as she tried to hide behind him and chuckled. His eyes widened as she kissed him, though he kissed her back, placing his hand on her side. He stared at her when she pulled away. "What?" He said, before she took off. He frowned, really confused about what was going on. He knew he would have to find her later to talk to her.

Blair looked at him when he asked if she was going to explain. "Nah." She replied, taking a sip of her drink. She watched as he sat closer to her. She sighed, "Luke walked in so I figured if he seen me kissing you then he would leave me alone." She said, shrugging. She watched as her fries were set in front of her. She ate one of them, "I'm sorry for using you." She told him.

Cole reached over and stole one of her fries, looking down at her. "No no that's fine, just steal my lips whenever you need, me too and all that you know" he teased, holding his hands up as if in surrender. "So did it work! He asked, laughing softly as he saw her confused face. "As in did kissing me work.. did Lucas leave you alone? He repeated, taking another of her fries.

Vi went about her day, dodging Scott Everytime she saw him in any of the hallways. She sighed as she headed to her last period, gathering up all of her sheet music as she headed to the band room. She saw Ryan walking against her and sighed loudly, trying to duck in to the room before he saw her.

Blair looked at him when he said she could use his lips whenever she wanted. "It was a one time thing so don't get your hopes up." She said. She ate some of her fries and watched him, "Yea it worked. He hasn't tried to talk to me since. I guess you were very convincing." She teased him.

Ryan watched as Olivia tried to avoid him, but he walked into the music room after her. He noticed they were alone, "You want to tell me why you kissed me back there if this note wasn't real?" He asked her. He walked towards her and smirked as he watched her. He could tell she was nervous. He thought it was cute when she got flustered.

Cole looked her up and down, before smacking his two hands together. "Well I have a proposal" he said loudly, staring at her until she turned his attention to him. "So look.. you need to get rid of a guy, and now we both know that I can help with that" he said, laying it all out in frony of her. "And we'll... I want to make my ex jealous, because we'll... She's a bitch" he said honestly. "So maybe we can help each other out"

Vi sighed loudly realising she was trapped. "well you know how I told you that there was 5 letters, one of them got sent to Scott Monroe" she said, and awkwardly sank in to a chair, her cheeks flushing. "And yes,he is my sister's ex boyfriend... But I wrote that way before they got together.. I mean I actually love d him first!" She argued, shaking her head as she realised it didn't matter. "But I mean.. well I would never do that to my sister, soI figured if he saw me kissing you he would realise I don't actually have feelings for him" she admitted with a shrug. "Look I'm sorry if I caught you off guard or whatever.. it was just the first thing I thought of"

Blair looked at him when he started to explain what he had in mind. "What are you getting at? You want to use me to get back at your ex?" She said. She shook her head, "That seems like a bad idea." She said. She took a sip of her drink as she watched him. She didnt know how she felt about faking a relationship.

Ryan listened to her explain what was going on. "Really? Well That is quite a story. I see why you wanted to avoid him though." He said. He thought for a moment. He would love to get back at his ex. "I have an idea." He said, smiling. "Since you need to make all these guys avoid you. How about you help me and I will help you." He said. "You can be my fake girlfriend and I will make sure those guys know you dont actually want them." He said.

Cole nudged her shoulder softly. "Cmmmooonnn. You already owe me one anyway for taking a kiss today. You know that this works out for both of us" he told her, twirling himself around on the stool.

Olivia's eyes narrowed at him. "You want me to be your[/] fake girlfriend?" She asked in disbelief, already shaking her head. "No way, not gonna happen" she said and began pulling some stuff out of her bag, realising that he wasn't leaving. "And what exactly would be in it for you, Ryan?" She asked, a smug look on her face.

Blair looked at him when he said she owed him. She sighed as she took a sip of her drink, "I will think about it." She said. She watched as he stared at her. "There will be rules." She said, turning to him.

Ryan smiled, "It would really make Casey jealous." He said. "That is what I get out of it. We can just do it until you get what you want and I get what I want." He explained to her. He knew it would make Casey pissed to see him with her.

Olivia furrowed her brow at him. "You honestly think I'm willing to help you win back your ex-girlfriend by making her jealous?" Vi asked him. "Ryan your ex is a psycho, she would have my head!" She said, backing herself up against the piano.

Cole's face brightened as he saw a spark she may go with it. "What kind of rules?" He asked her, running a hand through his hair which showed off his definined muscles.

Blair looked at him, seeing that he actually wanted to do this. She thought for a moment, "I will think if some tonight and then we can talk about that tomorrow. If I decide to do this. I still dont know." She said before she took a sip of her drink again. She ate one of her fries.

Ryan walked towards her, "Oh come on. It will be fine. She isnt going to do anything to you. Besides it works out for you to." He said. "Please." He added. "It wont be long just enough to get those guys off your back and make Casey jealous." He assured her.

Cole held up his hands "well okay then, I will leave you alone to think" he said softly and slowly backed out of the diner, watching her the whole way. He really hoped she would go for his plan, he knew that it would work well.

Olivia sighed loudly "I just don't think it will work Ryan I'm sorry!" She argued. She kept glancing at him as he didn't leave the classroom. "Will you leave if I tell you I'll think about it?" She said, placing her hand on her hip as she did so.

Blair sighed as she paid the bill then got up and walked out. She went home, going straight to her room. She laid down on her bed and stared up at her ceiling as she thought about Cole. She knew that he really wanted this to happen. Blair sat up and grabbed her notebook. She began to write down what rules she wanted to have.

The next morning she got dressed then grabbed her bag and headed to school. She decided to find Cole after school and tell him she would do it. After school she walked onto the football field and sat on the bleachers as she watched his practice. She ran her fingers through her hair as she waited for him, seeing him walk off the field and look at her. She waited til he sat down next to her, handing him the paper with the list of rules.

Ryan nodded, "Sure, all I am asking is that you think about it." He said. He smiled, "I will talk to you later Liv." He said before he walked off. He went to his locker and grabbed his stuff before he headed off to his practice. He went home that evening and did some homework and slept.

The next morning he drove to school and got out of his car, walking into the school. He hoped that Olivia would agree to be his fake girlfriend.

"what's this?" Cole asked her, his football helmet in his hand as he looked over the list that she had just given him. "So does this mean you'll do it?" He asked, before properly reading over the list.

Olivia stood at her pocket that morning, her head leaning against the side half asleep, she had barely gotten any sleep. "Murphy!" She heard a voice call out, and frowned as she saw Casey coming towards her. "Your not his type, stay away from him" she warned, standing in front of Liv with her arms crossed.

"That's too bad Casey, because I was almost certain I was his type yesterday" she said, her voice soft and innocent. She widened her eyes at Ryan as she saw him coming down the hall.
