Cassia giggled as he called her a tear. "I know. I know but I do enjoy teasing you anyways. And as much as it was it wasn't terribly exhausting." she said and kissed him before he stepped away. "Lunch?" she looked him over and giggled then nodded. "I can think of a few things to eat." she nipped at him playfully then slipped from the room. She smiled back at him. If she had her way he might resist the day but tomorrow he wouldn't be able to resist her.

Zane grinned as he came back and set her food down trying to wake her. He chuckled as she stated at him mumbling a whine. He tugged the blanket off her head and kissed her cheek. "My love you must eat then I will massage you to sleep myself." he said and watched as she opened her eyes with an irritated and amused stare. He smiled as she sat and he sat the food in her lap. He opened it up for her siring and set the spoon in it. "I would feed you too but I am afraid you might bite my hand off." he winked at her and stood moving to the bathroom to get the oil. He pulled off his shoes discarding them then pulled off his shirt and sat not he bed the oil in his lap as he watched her.

Thibault chuckled at her antics as he followed her through the halls, smiling back at her. He knew what she was up to, and also knew that she was underestimating his ability to hold back. As much as he wanted her, he could resist her for longer than she thought. And it would be oh so fun to watch her beg for him when she became desperate enough. Pushing that thought aside with a grin he caught up to her and led her through the halls and out into the gardens, having asked for their lunch to be set up outside for once. He politely pulled out her chair for her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head before taking a seat.

Once the food was in her lap she slowly began to eat, humming a little in satisfaction as she did, having not realized how hungry she was. She didn't eat too fast though, too tired to use that much energy, so it took her a few minutes to finish her yogurt and fruit cup, passing it back to him once she was done before moving to curl back up under the blankets. As much as a massage from him sounded wonderful, she was a bit worried that if her clothes came off it meant that she'd have to have sex, and even though she loved it when he made love to her she was too sore and exhausted for it, prefering to stay in her long sleeved shirt and pajama shorts.

Cassia smiled as he led her outside. "You set it up out here?" she asked beaming at the little fairy lights that lead her path tot he table under the stars. She loved how thoughtful he was. Cassia smiled as he pulled out her chair and she sat humming sweetly as he kissed her head. She looked over at him as he looked at her from across the table. She smiled and reached out taking his hand. Cassia laced her hand with his and took the fork in her other hand taking a bite of the food with a hum. It was amazing and she realized she had been very hungry.

Zane smiled as she ate. He took the plate as she handed it back and frowned as she crawled under the covers. "I know you want to fall asleep now love but I need to make sure your body is going to heal okay and fix anything while you are still fresh. I promise you will relax and fall asleep. I will redress you and you will sleep till dinner." he said and rubbed her back gently. "Please Rosemarie let me take care of you. No funny business. I am just concerned." he said. He wondered if she had already forgotten how patient he was with her when she first came to him hurt and he had healed her then as well. He hoped not. He wanted her to remember every wonderful moment of them together.

Thibault squeezed her hand when she placed hers in his, pressing a kiss to her knuckles before digging into his meal. Their meals were quite different, as they were catered to each of their preferences, so while she had some of her favorite foods, he had his: practically raw venison with some root vegetables and wild rice. He found it easier to eat earthier, more natural foods, and they reminded him of his childhood going on hunts with his father. "I might have to go away on business for a day or two coming up, but hopefully my sister will be here by then, so you won't be alone."

Rosemarie peered up and him and nodded after a moment, sliding out of her clothes before rolling onto her stomach, pushing the blankets away so that they wouldnt get covered in oil. Her skin was bruised in a few places, which definitely contributed to her soreness, but she wasn't injured at all other than that. The poor girl was just exhausted and wanted to rest. After all, she hadn't had a ton of time to rest since meeting Zane a week or so ago, and it felt nice to just do nothing and relax.

Cassia was eating when he told her he might have to leave and she frowned. A million questions raced through her brain. She didn't want him to leave her. She bit her lip and tried to sort through her emotions to the questions she needed to ask. "Where would you be going?" she asked. she wished he would have told her sooner, that he would take her with him, that she knew what this business was. She was instantly worried about his safety and who would be around him while he was gone. A part of her wondered if there was someone else even if it was ridiculous and her mind knew it. To be honest she didn't know what he did when he went to do his "business".

"Will you be safe out there alone?" Cassia asked him and looked up at him setting her fork down having lost her appetite. She wondered who would watch him and care for him durning the daylight hours if she was not there? She might sleep with him during the day but she could still protect him if she had to durning the day. Honestly Cassia was terrified to ask more, afraid she would ask something that his answer would crush her. Cassia didn't know if he understood how much her world revolved around him now.

Zane smiled as she agreed and he helped her pull her cloths off. He rubbed the oil over her skin rubbing it in gently warming her entire body. He worked out the tension and the soreness before he used warm towels to clean her up after a long massage. Once he clothed her again he wrapped her in blankets and slipped into bed cuddling her as promised.

Thibault could see her worrying and squeezed her hand reassuringly, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "I'll be fine, my love. I'm going into the city for a few days to sort out some legal and financial matters, and it's easier to spend the days in a hotel there instead of traveling back and forth everyday. And the vampires I'm meeting with aren't kind to humans, and I'd feel much more comfortable having you here where you're safe." He informed her, looking at her with a little smile. "Everything should be sorted out in less than three days, I'll barely be gone long enough for you to notice."

Rosemarie happily relaxed as he massaged her tension away, happily curling into his arms once he'd dressed her and joined her in bed again. "How long will we be on the boat..?" She asked softly, rubbing her eyes tiredly as she cuddled closer. She wanted to know how long their next leg of the trip would be, so she could try to plan what she might do with him.

Cassia frowned. She rather wait in the hotel room for him than let him go alone. What if house keeping came in while he was sleeping? Or what if these vampires tired to hurt him. If thy where not kind to humans could they be kind? “I will notice. And it’s not just about keeping me safe. I’m suppose to keep you safe too. Why is this coming up now with your sister coming? And what if something happens and you have to stay longer? Thibault...” Cassia pulled her hand out of his and sat back. She hoped he could feel everything going on inside her through their connection but wasn’t sure.

Cassia sighed suddenly not hungry anymore and stood going over to him. “I have a bad feeling about this.” She said and kiss his lips gently before heading back inside needing to find something to do. She could not change his mind. Which his sister coming she could not demand to go and with it being legal and financial she could not demand he reschedule the trip though she wanted to do both. His sister was going to be here and so should he as much as she wanted time to get to know her this wasn’t how she had wanted it to be.

Zane smiled as she snuggled him. He loved when she asked him questions it meant to him she felt comfortable with him. “When you wake again it will be time to get off the boat. We will be setting up in. Hotel and have the night to plan though the dinner break is long enough for us to go out and get some ice cream. He winked at her.

"When we stopped speaking, I took over doing all of the financial business for our family, and I've been saving her share of the money for years, as every time I've tried to offer it to her she's refused. Because she's coming I want to transfer her money into an account and give it to her when she arrives, but because her letter arrived so suddenly I have to act quickly, and the vampires who I work with don't like doing things on short notice, so I have to agree to their terms." He explained, frowning a bit when she pulled away. "I know you're upset, my dear, but you'd be safer here. There's no way they would hurt me, I have the largest account they own, and if you were there they'd expect me to share you with them, which is something I won't do." He frowned. "Nothing will happen to me, I promise. One of my friends will be there with me, he won't let anything bad happen."

Rosemarie hummed tiredly as she curled closer, listening to him speak. She nodded a little, wishing that they had more time on the boat, but she couldn't change that. "Alright.. Don't let me sleep in too long." She murmured as she snuggled close, tucking her face into his chest as she drifted off to sleep.

Cassia stopped as Thibault started to explain and she came back to him sitting and bitting her bottom lip. It was nice he wanted to do that for his sister but she hated that he was going without her. She would at least want to stay at the hotel with him but she had to be here for his sister. She bit her lip sighing if she bit it any harder than she would draw blood. She understood what he wanted to do but she still didn't like it but she nodded.

"I haven't met any of your friends." Cassia said softly and looked him over. she could see this was worrying him and he wanted to make her happy as well as keep her safe. She sighed and moved over to him slipping into his lap and wrapping her arms around him. She rested her head on his shoulder and just sat there breathing him in. "I want you to call me then every night before you go to bed so I know you are safe." she said hopeful.

Zane grinned as she nodded sleepily. "You want to see us dock?" he asked before she went to sleep then held her to him as she drifted off. He kissed her head and gently ran his fingers through her hair as he sat there with her for a while until he knew she was deep asleep. Once she was out he stood and went to the bathroom freshening up and then sitting in the arm chair to do some work. He would wake her for dinner then they would have one more night on the boat. He hoped she would be alright tomorrow to experience some of the boat.

"Of course, my flower." He promised as his arms wrapped around her, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I'll even let James, my friend that will be coming with me, meet you before we leave. That way you'll know exactly who I'll be with." He reassured her, pressing another kiss to her head as he rubbed her back soothingly. He knew that she was upset about not going, but he couldn't risk bringing her. He wanted to, of course, he hated leaving her alone, but didn't want to risk putting her in danger, so having her stay here with his sister was the best option, even if it hurt him to do so.

"Will you try eating some more, my love? You didn't finish your meal, and I know it's your favorite.."

Rosemarie slept soundly until an hour or two before dinner when she woke, rolling onto her back with a little groan as she rubbed at her eyes sleepily before they fluttered open. She still felt groggy, but she wasn't sore anymore, and she wasn't nearly as tired as she had been. She remained curled up under the blankets though, not feeling up to getting up and walking around, instead staying quiet while she watched Zane work, not wanting to disturb him.

Cassia nodded and sighed as he said she could meet his friend. She kissed his lips gently as she slipped from his lap. She couldn't no be upset but she could eat a little more as he had requested. She sat down and started to eat again. It was warm at best but still good. She ate probably a little over half her plate then stood. "I'm going to head in now and prepare a few more details with Madeline." she said and leaned in kissing his lips again lingering as she caught his eyes. "I love you immensely that's all. So just in case I don't say it enough you are my world." she said and kissed him deeply then pulled away and slipped into the house.

Cassia headed down the hallways to the staff lounge and smiled as a few of the servants she had pulled Thiabult away from thanked her. She chuckled and nodded gently. She knew he meant well but the servants knew what they where doing and he didn't need to hover that was Madeline's job. Cassia caught up with Madeline wondering what they would do without her. She moved into the room and next to Madeline smiling at the older lady.

Zane sighed setting his work down finishing and looked up at Rosemarie. "You are awake my love." he said happily and stood moving over to her looking clean and fresh despite working all day only a crease in his shirt revealing how long he had been sitting. Zane moved to her and kissed her softly on the head. "Did you sleep well? How do you feel?" he asked softly.

"I love you too, Cassia. You're my whole world." He murmured against her lips as he returned her kiss, reluctantly letting her return inside once she'd eaten some more of her meal. He remained outside for a while, forcing himself to finish his meal so he would be at full strength before heading inside to do some more work, settling in at his desk before starting in on his work.

Rosemarie smiled sleepily as she noticed how nice he looked, reaching a hand up to smooth the one wrinkle out of his shirt once he was close enough. "I feel better.. I'm still tired, but I'm sure part of it is all the jet lag and lack of sleep in general." She said while stifling a yawn, rubbing at her eyes again. "I'm sorry if I distracted you from your work. If you need to do something, dont let me bother you, I can fend for myself."

Cassia talked with Madeline about what they needed to get but then she curled back into a chair and sighed. "I have never really been away from him since our bonding Madeline I don't want him to go. I know his sister will be here so I won't be alone but still I don't care. I worry about him. What if he needs me and I am not there?" she asked. This was her greatest fears that something would happen and they would be alone either she would be dead or he would be and they would have to figure out how to live without the other. Cassia knew Thibault would not take it well, he had already told her but her? She doubted she would survive the separation of their souls but if she did she would never be the same. "I know I said I plan on forever with him and that means being away from him sometimes but still I wish it didn't mean so soon." she said and bit her lip. Thibault had promised to take her somewhere for a honeymoon. They had so much life to still live.

Zane grinned feeling her hand smoothing his shirt. She was amazing and he adored her. "Well after dinner you can sleep some more but I would really like for you to join us for dinner if you are up for it." he said and smiled at her. "I finished my work don't you worry. Besides I like your distractions." he winked at her and leaned in kissing her cheek. "Celtin has been asking about you, he is wondering why I am keeping you all to myself locking in our room." He winked. "I told him not to worry that you where safe and well taken care of."

While Madeline and Cassia talked Thibault finished making the arrangements for his trip into the city and began to work on arrangements for their honeymoon. He wanted it to be special, but he worried about her safety more than anything, and so he was being careful about where he planned to take her and what they planned to do. Once that was done it was nearly sunrise, so he returned to their room to shower before climbing into bed, exhausted from a long days work.

"I can go to dinner.." Rosemarie nodded a little, although a faint blush heated up her cheeks. "They.. They don't know about the other night, do they?" She asked nervously. She didn't want any of Zane's friends to think she was a slut or that she was easy, especially because she worried they'd think less of her because of it. Her blush only brightened when he mentioned Celtin, rolling over to hide her face in her pillow. "Does Celtin know too? I-I can't look at any of them if they know, they'll think the worst of me.."

Cassia came back to their room as dawn started to approach. As much as she wanted to watch the sunrise she was too tired and she wanted to be with Thibault. She could watch the sunrise while he was out of house. She came in just as he was lifting the covers to crawl in. She smiled at him and closed the door. She changed before moving over to the bed and crawling in curling into him and kissing his chest as she went. Cassia smiled up at him. "I missed you." she said and kissed his lips sweetly.

Zane was glad she was going o accompany him to dinner but as she reacted with shame again at the other night he frowned and moved over to her stroking her hair. "Of course they do not know Rosemarie but it really is not a big deal like humans make it to be." he frowned at her reaction to Celtin. "No he does not know. They will not think the worst of you if they knew Rosemarie." he said and tucked her hair back. "Look at me." he said waiting until their eyes met. "You did nothing wrong. You are amazing and no one will think less of you for what you did yesterday. Please believe me." he said and cupped her cheek catching her chin in his grip. "Please trust me?"

Thibault happily enveloped his bond into his arms when she laid beside him, pressing a loving kiss to her lips once she was settled in. "I missed you too, my love." He murmured as he returned her kiss, settling against the pillows with a content sigh. "I've begun planning our honeymoon.. I haven't figured out all of the details yet, but I hope you will like it."

Rosemarie frowned as she looked up at him, nodding a little at his words. "Of course I trust you, Zane.. But... But my father and mother always said that someone who slept with people before they married was a whore, and anyone who did anything other than normal marital sex were sluts.." she frowned as she explained, curling into his arms. "I'm sorry for worrying over nothing... It's just hard not to when you've been told something like that your whole life.."

Cassia smiled as he told her he started to plan their honeymoon. "Really? Have you picked a place ?Where are we going?" she said looking suddenly wide awake and excited. Cassia loved that they where going to be able to spend time together just the two of them. Cassia ran her hands over his abdomen. Anywhere with Thibault was an adventure.

Zane frowned as she explained where all the shame and guilt came from. He nodded in understanding. "Okay but I am sure they also never told you vampires and monsters, the things that go bump in the night exist, that magic is real and that sometimes you and your husband might venture outside the normal marriage borders because it is a better life to be ourselves than the boundary limited people your family was." he said gently though his words where a little harsh. He shook his head and rubbed her back. "You do not have to be sorry but I would like for you to try to let go of who you use to be, now you are my bond, my wife, my love and you are free to be completely you." he said and kissed her head.

Thibault chuckled at her excitement, catching her hands in his and bringing them to his lips, pressing kisses to her fingertips. "Calm down, my love. I haven't sorted out all the details, and I'll tell you about it as soon as I have. I don't want to spoil the surprise." He grinned as he kissed her, reaching over to turn off the light before pulling her close. "Come, the sun is almost up, we should be sleeping."

Rosemarie frowned a bit as she listened to Zane speak, although her heart fluttered when he called himself her husband and herself his wife. "I know, Zane, you're right.. I never agreed with them, but I couldn't help but worry and fear that they might be right.." She sighed, snuggling closer. "I promise I'll try to let go of all of the terrible things that they said and did, but I can't promise to let go of who I used to be.. I may have changed a bit since becoming your bond, but if I changed everything about who I used to be, then I wouldn't be me anymore." She explained with a worried frown as she looked up at him. "I can't change who I am.. I'll always worry about what people think of me, I can't help it. But I can try harder to not let their opinions affect me."

Cassia sighed as he told her to wait. "I hate waiting." she said and kissed him back. She snuggled into him and closed her eyes. "Goodnight my love." she said and they yawned. She ran her hands so they wrapped around him leaving her wrapped over him and pulled tight against him. He was still trying to escape her charms and it made her grin.

Zane nodded. "Well then that is all I can ask of you. Come on let's get you dressed. Remember vampires like to dress up at any occasion they can get I will probably be the most casual in the room." He said though Celtin probably would be dressing pretty low key too. He kissed her sweetly. "You also might want to shower you have some oil in the small hairs on your neck still." he whispered and kissed her again.

Thibault chuckled a little as he buried his nose in her hair, breathing her in as he finally drifted off to sleep, keeping her close. He slept through the night, but woke early in the morning, well before she woke up, and carefully untangled himself from her arms so that he could sit in bed and read, not needing much light for it given his excellent eyesight. He would have gone to his study to read, but he worried that leaving the room might wake her, and so he remained in bed with her at his side, fingers absently smoothing over her hair occasionally.

Rosemarie nodded as he helped her out of bed, returning his kiss with a little smile as he suggested that she shower. "Alright.. I'll take a quick shower and get dressed. I promise I'll be quick." She assured him before rummaging through her bag for what she wanted to wear and heading into the bathroom. She stepped out not twenty minutes later, having kept her promise to be quick, wearing a pretty dress that showed off all of her curves quite well, and was classy and formal enough to suit a vampire's taste. She quickly slipped into her heals as she finished pulling her hair into a bun, looking at Zane with a little smile. "Do you know what they're serving for dinner? I'm starving.."
