Cailyn smiled slightly as she listened to Luke, eased by his voice so easily, and she wondered how he could be this nice. “I guess that makes sense,” she murmured with a nod as she peered back at him, watching him for a moment before she continued to lead the way. “Well, I don’t know if we should be labeled as ‘cool’ neighbors yet.” She grinned. “You may get annoyed with us.”
Michael blinked, surprised that she’d offered to show him her room, and he wasn’t sure if that meant something or if it was just to show him the whole house. Either way, he found himself nodding without even having to really think about it. “Sure, I think that sounds like a plan,” he told her, grinning slightly as he took her in, “Yeah, I’m coming.” Moving over, he motioned for her to lead the way as he followed her happily.
