Kara grinned as she followed Luke, trying to ignore how warm she felt with being this close to him, though she smiled up at him. “Um, anything is fine, really, as long as there's no tequila in it,” she told him with a nod, “Me and tequila do not go well together.”

Michael watched Winona, just absolutely adoring the sound of her laughter, a grin spreading across his face so widely it almost hurt. “I am definitely asking you to be my partner in crime,” he chimed happily, his grin broadening, if it was even possible. “I'm honored, in that case.” Unable to help it, he winked playfully in return. “Alright, Luke can be first, I'm all for it.”

Luke arched an amused brow at Kara's words, but grinned, unable to stop himself from doing so in her presence, shifting so that instead of her arm being linked through his, his arm was resting around her shoulders, gently tugging her towards him, trying to make the movement subtle. "I feel like there's a story behind that." He winked down at Kara, but nodded with her words, pulling away from her completely to pour their drinks, already missing her presence beside him, despite the fact she was only two feet behind him.

"Of course you should be honoured." Winona teased back, studying Michael carefully as she took a step closer to him. "But please know that the honour is all mine." She grinned, laughing as Michael confirmed that Luke could be first on their imaginary little hit-list, but still, the fact that he was playing along in the first place amazed her. "You're so cute." She told him with a smile, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear as she went to grab them both a drink.

Kara gave a noise of surprise when Luke tugged her to him, but she offered an amused look up at him as she watched him, listening to his words. “Aren’t there many stories behind every great friendship?” she asked easily in a hum, though she chewed on her lip as she watched him work on making the drinks, just taking him in without an issue, enjoying the sight of him.

Michael grinned with the mention of it, watching her. “Well, then I am certainly honored,” he told her quietly, examining her when she stepped closer, taking her in for a few moments, admiring her now that she was closer. “Nope, sorry, I can’t let you have all the honor.” He winked teasingly, but his grin broadened with her words and he watched her when she went to get drinks for them. “Not nearly as cute as you, love.”

Luke laughed as he caught sight of Kara's amused expression, finding her absolutely perfect. Taking a moment to commit the sound of her voice to memory, Luke grinned, his dimples hollowing out. "Of course there are, I can tell you so many things about Winnie." Luke teased, offering Kara a drink. "And I'm certain there's dirt you can give me about Mikey." Luke winked, taking a sip of his drink. Satisfied, Luke looked to Kara with a smile. "You wanna sit on the swing chair outside? We can just chat." Luke offered, wanting to get to know Kara without any distractions.

Winona giggled, her cheeks reddening as she tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, looking to Michael fondly. "Hey, that's not fair!" Winona teased. "I want all the honour, because look at you, anyone would be lucky to have you as a hit list partner." Pouring their drinks almost expertly, Winona offered one to Michael with a soft smile. "Are you trying to woo me, Michael Clifford?"

Kara smiled slightly as she took the drink, watching Luke for a moment, and she wondered why the hell Michael had never introduced her to him before. “Of course there is,” she hummed out easily, though she grinned with his suggestion and she nodded slightly. “Yeah, I think that’s a great idea, let’s do that.”

Michael couldn’t help but laugh as he listened to Winona, and he shook his head. “I think it’s plenty fair,” he said with amusement, though he grinned as he watched her, arching a brow. “Yeah? Well, here’s to hit list partners.” Taking the drink Winona offered, he raised it in cheers, but he smirked to her question as he took a sip. “Oh, definitely.” He nodded, unashamed. “Is it working?”
