Alaric smirked, chuckling a little at her look of unamusement, despite her questions. "You are on an island approximately two miles off the coast of the mainland, rather close to your town. We have been here for millennium, much longer than you and your people." He explained, shrugging a little when she asked how she arrived. "You would have to ask the hunters. They are the only ones who have been off the island recently, I'm unfamiliar with the ways in which they get to and from the mainland."

Alma frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. "No, that's not fair. If the game isn't played then no one wins." She stated, finishing her glass of water before scooting to the edge of the bed, looking out into the hall curiously with her newly replenished sight. "You'll just make it into a joke at my expense."

What Alaric was saying to Aelia didn't really make any sense to her. "What.. island...?" She didn't remember any island. "Are there more...humans... here then? Wait, how old are you? How were you even turned?" Suddenly questions started to fill Aelia's head.

"How is any of this even possible?" Lia asked, crossing her arms over her stomach as she felt nauseated thinking of all of the things she didn't believe before to be coming true now.

"No, if you refuse to play, then by default I win," Salem repeated himself, smirking as he watched her put her glasses on. She did look cuter with them on. "More likely than not, yes," Salem said, shrugging his shoulders.

"You do look curious though." He made a motion for Alma to go through the door. "Please, feel free to try and run, or, do you want things to go the safe way and have me escort you?" He asked. "There are places you can't go after all."

"The island is hidden, thanks to an old coven of witches who have helped my family for generations." Alaric explained, nodding as she asked about the other humans. "Yes, there are more here. Primarily being used to feed the soldiers, although there are a limited number of humans being used by my brother and I as... pets. Like you." He grinned.

Alma frowned as she looked up at him, shaking her head. "No, that's not fair." She repeated, huffing in frustration as she adjusted her glasses. "I don't want to go anywhere with you.. It's not safe." She sighed, scooting back on the bed to continue to pick at her meal.

Aelia said quietly as she listened to Alaric. Her frown growing deeper and deeper as she listened to him. Her head slowly shaking as she didn't like all of the things that she was hearing from him. "So, magic is real as well? Are you going to tell me that ghosts are real as well then?" She asked, closing her eyes as she rested the back of her head against the headboard.

"What do you mean by a pet?" Aelia asked quietly, opening her eyes once more she looked towards Alaric once again.

Being the jerk that Salem was, he mimicked Alma with an annoying voice then snorted. "I'm a King hun, it doesn't have to be fair. What I say goes." He said as he walked over and grabbed her arm. "Now come." He said, using his mind control power to make her more easy to manage. "You need to shower, you're going to start smelling if you don't and I need to make sure the bite gets cleaned."

He'd wait for her to cooperate before walking her to the human's open shower room. "I get another pet to grab you a towel." He told her as he went to leave.

Alaric nodded, chuckling a little at the mention of ghosts. "I've never met any, but possibly." He grinned, watching her. "You are a pet. A human who has been captured to serve me and my needs." He explained simply with a shrug.

Salem frowned, shaking her head stubbornly before shrieking when he grabbed her arm, managing to give him a decent kick in the side before she calmed down at his direction, still frowning as she slowly stood when he told her too, following him reluctantly out into the hall. "I don't want to shower with other people." She stated calmly, although she looked upset about the whole situation.

"Then, what else have you come across?" Aelia asked, skeptical as to what else could live in the world that she didn't know about. Then, she frowned and shivered at the thought of his needs. "I.. don't want to do that." She told him, pulling her short clad knees to her chest for protection.

"You can't make me do that." She murmured.

"You'll get used to it," Salem said calmly as he left the room. Letting the girl be for a while as he went to order a girl to get Alma a towel. "There should be everything you need to wash up along that wall. Once you're done, come find me in the lounge." He told her as he walked out of the room, closing the door.

Then, he went to the lounge. Ordering a pet to start him a fire in the fireplace before he relaxed on a couch.

Alaric smirked slightly. "I'm a King, Aelia. I get what I want." He explained, standing to move over to her, leaning over to press a kiss to her forehead, the touch calming her due to his abilities.

Alma frowned, waiting until the girl brought her a towel before showering, glad for the warm water and the chance to clean herself. She took her time, wanting to delay having to go to Salem for as long as she could, but when the tap ran out of warm water she reluctantly turned it off and wrapped the towel around herself, unsure of if there were any clean clothes for her to wear.

His words scared Lia. She wanted to argue with him that she was a living being with rights. His tall figure when he stood scaring her a little and causing Lia to try and cower against the headboard of the bed.
Her eyes clenched shut as Alaric leaned down, she expected to shudder at the feel of the man's lips, but. Instead, she felt calmed by his touch. Even leaning into him a little bit to keep his touch lingering on her skin. "Oh.." She murmured quietly, her hands twitching to grab onto him, but she kept them down. To shy to try and touch the vampire without a-okay.

Once the fire was started, Salem sighed as he relaxed back, his feet propping up on the seat next to him as he flicked his fingers. "Nina, grab Alma something pretty to wear. She's in the open bath. Oh, and make sure she cleaned her bite, I don't need to contact the doctor for anything else."

Nina nodded and went to do as Salem asked, leaving the King to look towards the warm fire that was burning in the fireplace. Giving the room a nice warm glow, bringing life to the place as it's flames danced this way and that. He couldn't wait for Alma to come back, he wanted to play with her a little bit.

Alaric smirked a bit at her reaction, taking a seat at the edge of the bed as he watched her, stroking her hair back from her face. "I'm sure you'll get used to it, Aelia. And we'll take things slow, I assure you."

Alma frowned a bit at the dress that Nina brought her, but she managed to find a cardigan to pull on over it to keep herself warm. She frowned as she hesitantly left the bathroom, looking around curiously before heading slowly toward where she assumed the lounge was, frowning at Salem.

Lia didn't know what was going on. Her mind screamed no, but her body screamed yes every time he touched her. A small pleased moan escaped from Aelia as she closed her eyes and relaxed at his movements. "Kay..." She breathed out quietly.

Then, after a moment, she opened her eyes and looked at Alaric in slight confusion. "Why does your touch feel so good?" She murmured, not sure why she felt so calm around him when he was touching her.

Smelling Alma's blood coming closer to him, Salem's dark eyes looked away from the dancing flames and towards the beauty that stood in the doorway. He didn't hide it as his eyes traveled from her beautiful neck and down to those legs that looked like they went on for miles.

"Come here, love." Salem murmured as he motioned for her to come towards him. "Have a seat where ever you'd like." He murmured, offering her to sit in front of him on the couch or lay on his lap.

Alaric smirked at the little moan, drawing his hand back to rest in his lap. "My brother and I have certain.. Telekinetic abilities. We can manipulate emotions and feelings." He explained. "I don't do it to toy with you, but do it to try to make your transition to life here easier."

Alma frowned as he walked in, tugging the cardigan around her to attempt to be more modest, not liking the way he looked at her. She reluctantly came over and sat on the couch across from him, looking at him nervously.

As soon as Alaric pulled his hand away a sense of loneliness filled Aelia. She already missed his touch, her body craved his touch. Her lips turning to a frown as her dark blue eyes look to his brighter ones.

His words causing a small turn in her stomach. "Is that why... my body is reacting so much to you...?" She asked, her voice quiet as she glanced toward his hand before looking to his eyes.

A snort escaped from the vampire as he rolled his eyes at his new pets attitude. "You don't need to hide from me darling, I'm going to see everything eventually." He told her as he took in her nervous appearance.

Working his magic, Salem did his best to calm her down as he reached out to touch a piece of her hair. "Did you have a good shower?" He asked, glancing towards her eyes to see her reaction.

Alaric hummed a little in thought, shrugging slightly. "I'm not sure. You should be feeling calmer, more ate ease, but not much more than that." He said simply, smirking a little. "Why? What else do you feel?"

Alma frowned as she looked over at him, although she was still a bit uncomfortable when he touched her hair, her shoulders relaxed a bit. "Yes.. The water was warm, and it's cold in here." She murmured softly, fiddling with her sweater.

Lia gently licked her lips as she listened to Alaric, her eyes narrowing a little at his hum. She wasn't sure she should trust that sound from him. "I feel..." She paused, just to give her word a little more effect. "Like you should go suck a dick." Her face went blank.

"I don't want to be some toy for you to play with." Lia wrinkled her nose and looked away with him. Not in the least bit happy learning that he could control her emotions and body so much.

Slowly, Salem nodded his head in understanding and snapped his fingers. A guard came over a moment later and Salem didn't take his eyes off of Alma. "Bring us a blanket, my pets cold." He instructed as he sat up and pressed his back to the back of the couch.

"Come." He ordered Alma as he patted the seat next to him and then moved his arm so that when she sat, he'd have his arm around her shoulders. "I want to learn more about the people from your home."

Alaric grinned, releasing a sharp laugh at her comment. "My dear, you don't have much of a choice." He smirked, leaning over to stroke her hair back away from her face, attempting to calm her down again. "I don't mean to do anything other than calm you down, any other affects are beyond my control."

Alma frowned, looking at him skeptically before moving over to sit next to him, not wanting to tempt him to do something dangerous. She sat next to him, tensing a bit when he placed his arm around her shoulders. "They're boring.. They don't like me much.."

The sound of his laugh sent a shiver down Aelia's back and she visibly gulped as she stared at him. Her tongue slipping out and licking her lips nervously. "N-no." Aelia stuttered out as she reached out to try and keep his hand away from her. Grabbing onto his arm as she tried to push him away.
Only, her arms seemed to have lost all strength as soon as he touched her hair again. Her breathing relaxed as well and she couldn't help but blush. Why must Alaric be so attractive?

A small smirk appeared on Salem's lips as he listened to Alma. He looked down at her with amusement as he listened. "Oh?" He murmured quietly as he started to trace small circles on her shoulder with the hand that was resting above it. "Why is that?" Salem asked as he looked down at her.

Then, as a servant came by with the blanket. Salem quickly grabbed it. He shoo'd the servant away and put the blanket over both of their laps. "Is this better?" He asked, pulling Alma closer to his body, making sure to keep her calm in the process.

Alaric smiled, brushing his thumb over her cheek as she watched her relax. "I understand that you're afraid, and that I am most likely the root of that fear.. But I hope that you learn to like it here, and one day I won't have to calm you down every time we interact." He explained, leaning over to press a kiss to his forehead.

Alma frowned a bit as he traced circles on her shoulder, shrugging her shoulder to try to get him to stop. "I moved there when I was twelve.. They don't like outsiders.." She murmured softly, tugging the blanket closer when the blanket was brought, tucking it around her carefully.

It felt like Alaric was talking to her like a child, and Aelia hated it. She was a young adult damnit! Although, it felt comforting as he caused the calmness to take over her. "I don't want to learn to like it here," Lia replied. Her eyes moving to be held lid-ed as she watched his lips as they moved to her forehead.

A soft sigh escaping from her at the feel of his lips. "I don't want to be a pet."

The fact that Alma still tried to get him to stop touching her was amusing. It took everything in the vamp's body to not outright laugh at her. "What about your friend? Or was that girl not a friend?" Salem asked, trying to remember if she told him that she was or not. Ultimately he didn't care.

He just needed a little bit of leverage to try and get her to cooperate.

Alaric chuckled faintly, shaking his head. "I know, but you don't have much of a choice.. A life worth living shouldn't be lived in suffering. It would do you well to make the best out of your situation." He said, smoothing out her hair once more before standing.

"I'll have another girl come in and show you to the showers. I'm sure you'd like the chance to get cleaned up. Also, I would suggest cleaning up that bite."

Alma frowned a little, trying to remember. "Friend..? You mean Aelia? She's here too?" She frowned worriedly, looking up at him. "You've locked her up too?"

A tired sigh escaped from Aelia as she felt like a dog being petted so much. Her dark blue eyes narrowing even more before rolling them at his words. He may be old and wise, but that did not mean she wanted to listen to him.

"You really suck," Lia mumbled, taking that chance of him not touching her to grab the plate that her food was on and throwing it at him.

"Oh? You don't remember?" Salem asked, arching an eyebrow as he looked down at Alma. "Yes, she is. My brother has her actually." He told her, then used this moment to gently grab her shoulder so that if she tried to run he could stop her.

"Now, if you want to know more about her. You better be on your best behavior or I'll have someone kill her in her sleep."
