    Leave my secrets alone
They aren't for you to know
I hear the knock at my door
As they make me vacate my home

Athena kept her gaze firmly on her feet as she walked beside Avalon, trying her hardest to keep any unwanted attention away from them both. It was always trouble, in a way people couldn't understand. Tightening her jacket around herself, with her hood up, Athena saw that it was late, the streets were vacant, she just couldn't risk it. "What do we do now?" She asked meekly. They were aimlessly walking around, and at this point, it was tiring. Everything seemed to look the same.

Luke sat on the pavement outside the 24 hour fast food joint, clutching onto his burger. "I'm starving." He complained to Calum as they waited for Ashton and Michael to join them. The show that night had been erratic, energetic, and Luke wanted to build up the energy he'd lost by eating the greasiest burger he could possibly find, but it was after-show tradition that the boys ate together. Still, that didn't stop Luke from taking one of his chips and shoving it into his mouth.

Avalon breathed out quietly, keeping the hood of her jacket up as they walked, wanting to keep her face hidden, wanting to stay unnoticed. As she heard Athena speak, she looked over and shook her head slightly. “We should just go home,” she murmured quietly, “Being out like this… Somebody’s going to see us.” And she knew what that would result in, and she wanted to avoid it for as long as possible.

Calum looked over when he heard Luke, though he chuckled quietly as he bit into his own food. “You’re telling me,” he joked lightly, lifting his shoulders in a shrug. “At least we’ve got some food now.” And they both needed it, he was sure - they’d used so much energy up on stage, they deserved whatever food they could get, and some junk food would really hit the spot, he was sure. “Let’s just enjoy it while we can.”

Athena stayed in a comfortable stride beside her sister, ensuring that the two didn't stand out within the empty street, because drawing attention would be disasterous for reasons no one could possibly understand. Offering a sweet smile to her sister, Athena nodded. "Maybe going home is the best idea, but it's not fair that we can't live normally because of all of this." Athena frowned. "Just five more minutes, Avalon, please?"

Luke grinned with Calum's own amusement. "I miss a good, home cooked meal though." Luke laughed, looking to one of his best friend's. "Your Mum's cooking especially mate, fucking legendary." Luke smirked, although he paused for a long moment when two figures came into view from the corner of his eye, hoods up and talking to each other in hushed tones. "Does that strike you as suspicious?" Luke asked, nudging Calum and nodding towards the figures. "Maybe they need help."

Avalon watched Athena, unsure, shifting, uncomfortable. “Five minutes,” she said quietly, though she knew it was a bad idea. They couldn’t afford to be caught outside, especially by men - it was going to cause problems, she just knew it.

Calum grinned with the mention of it. “I’ll make sure to let my mom know,” he assured with amusement, nodding slightly, figuring it would at least make his mom happy. Still, he blinked, following Luke’s gaze, though he lifted his shoulders in a shrug. “I dunno, they could just be worried about rain or something, Luke. You’re the suspicious one.” He grinned teasingly.
