Jessie filled the wine glasses while Viktor consoled his brother who didn't seem to consider it much. Maxwell sat at the table and Jessie set the glass down in front of him. "It's Jessie." she said and he looked up at her eyes sparkling. "You've got a feisty one Viktor." he said and Jessie rolled her eyes. No she pretty well decided she didn't like Maxwell. Jessie moved over to Viktor offering him the other glass. It wasn't long before Jasmine came down the stairs occupying Jessie with a simple lovely little chat. The donors came down and sat beside Maxwell consoling his broken heart with compliments and distractions. Once Viktor's father came down they all sat and Jessie placed the food on the table and green beans near the human part of the table before she sat between Viktor and Jasmin.

Viktor smiled softly and sat down himself. He looked over at his father, "how was the Journey this time father?" he asked lightly. He knew that his dad didn't like talking about much, and there would be lots of questions about the Hollow, and what had changed here

Jeremiah looked at his so and smiled softly. "Travel is always tiring and you know I do not like to be away from your mother but it is nice to come home to a nice meal and a fresh house and leave the tensions behind." he said. They all started to eat and Jessie tried to not worry about how she was suppose to act. She was here to be herself. Yes she needed to respect the house rules which included her being more reserved with Viktor but they had seen so much more than her holding his hand so when she had to opportunity to take his hand when it wasn't too obvious she took it. It soothed her to feel his hand in hers and she looked up at him. They lived by a particular set of rules but Maxwell seemed to be the most loose with the rules so her and Viktor shouldn't be a real big issue. Viktor was responsible she could see that. "Jessie." Jeremiah spoke and she looked up at him. "Yes sir?" she asked and he grinned softly. "Mr. Pembroke is fine. Please tell us what is new here." he said and Jessie nodded. "Well just like the rest of the world Hollow has developed, shops and modern conveniences. But it still has the feel of a small town so people still know pretty much everyone and though gossip gets around town it doesn't generally make it online. Still the towns people are welcoming to strangers and not really concerned with strangers business." She explained and Jeremiah nodded. "You speak from experience it seems." Which made Jessie nod. "I came to Hollow to write. It really is an inspiring town and there is something about a foggy little town on the cliffs that no writer in their right mind could pass up." she smiled and looked at Viktor.

Viktor smiled softly and kept hold of her hand as she spoke, echoing her sentiment lightly. He looked at his father, "I've been around town to check things out, and the only person that could remember our last visit would be old man Perkins, from the city archives, but he didn't recognise me, and he would be thankful for what we did for his wife anyway," he commented.

Jeremiah nodded gently, "well that is certainly interesting, and good to hear that we won't be disturbed, we don't want Maxwell to be too tempted," he joked softly. He looked at his son, "I notice that she has some marks, how have you been coping?" he asked looking at Jessie. "Are you still in control Viktor, I haven't known you to feed for what going on 50 years now?" he asked.

Jessie blushed as Jeremiah mentioned her bite marks. She pulled her hair over her shoulder. It was possible that he had seen others when he first met her too. She looked at Jeremiah. "I recover quite quickly but Viktor is always careful." she said not mentioning the one time she took him too far and he had to fight to get back in control. Jessie looked up at Viktor wondering what he might say. It was a rather embarrassing conversation to have as a family in her opinion but what did she know of vampire etiquette? Jessie wondered what the Pembroke's had done for the old man's wife and then wondered if he had directed her there knowingly. If he had been offering her as thanks to the vampires that helped his wife. She looked down as she thought things over. If it was Maxwell in the house instead of Viktor would she be a live right now? They had a code yes but thee was also a reason why the entire family passive aggressively blamed Maxwell for any trouble.

Jeremiah listened closely, as Viktor continued on the conversation. Viktor began to explain how he'd met Jessie, and the amount of time they'd spent together already, without going into details about what they had spent the time doing. He looked at Maxwell and Jasmine for a moment, then back at Jeremiah, "I'm sure mother will be with us soon, and we can discuss things further then, for now, I would appreciate it if you respected my privacy and Jessie's space," he said softly.

Jessie smiled up at Viktor as he told them the story of their meeting and how they had grown close leaving out the intimacy though. Jessie smiled as he asked for privacy and space for her. She hoped that it would work out. She knew he wanted to talk to his mother to be allowed to continue their relationship wherever it may lead and she hoped they would all understand. Dinner went off without a hitch and Jasmine was bright and cheery as they talked together about Paris and fashion. Jessie promised to take her shopping soon and it was feeling more normal to have others around. That seemed to be the effect Jasmine had though.

Viktor sat quietly and just let the conversation continue along. As the dinner wrapped up, he stood and began to clear the table. He smiled softly, "well I am glad to have some extra company, and I'm sure you will all enjoy being hear again," he said softly. He helped Jessie tidy up and then pulled her to him, "come on lets go for a walk," he suggested

Jessie nodded once they were done in the kitchen. "Yes that sounds good." she said and ran her hand over his chest. She didn't want to stay out too long because the sun would be coming up. A vampire's night was right before sunrise after all. Jessie snuggled into Viktor's side as they moved into the fresh air of the night. She walked slowly and in unison with Viktor. She looked up at him as they were a little ways away from the house. "What's on your mind love?" she asked.

Viktor smiled softly and walked with her, he took in the beautiful night. He looked to her, "I just thought you might want a break from them, they can be kind of intense with new people," he said softly.

Jessie smiled softly. "I am endeavoring to be myself even if I don't share my more modern take on our relationship." she said and smiled softly. She wondered how different his family was when they where themselves. "So in essence Jasmine was adopted into the family what about you and Maxwell?" she asked. Jessie was not looking forward to having to say goodnight to him to stay in her own room tonight but she had made enough terrible first impressions though she hoped dinner went a long way to correcting that. They had all seemed to enjoy it.

Viktor smiled softly, "about the same, I was first then Maxwell about ten years later," he said softly. He pulled her close, "I think they will come to like you, you are certainly unique enough, and interesting," he said softly.

Jessie grinned and smiled. "Well I am just glad that you want me around long enough for them to get the chance." she said and snuggled into him. She sighed breathing him and the night air in. "This was perfect. I just hope some time will ware away my first impression." she chuckled.

Viktor nodded and looked at her, "it wasn't the worst first impression we've had over the years," he admitted. He pulled her close and kissed her neck. "Let's just enjoy the night for a bit, then head back," he said.

Jessie giggled. "If that wasn't the worst I would be modified beyond the ability to show myself again if I had shown the worst first impression." she chuckled and then nodded as he suggested they just enjoying tonight. Jessie laughed with him and kissed his cheek. "I love your company Viktor. I don't know if I had said as much yet."

Viktor smiled softly, "yeah, I love being around you too Jessie," he said softly. He kissed her cheek, as they continued their walk. As the sun started to come up, he started to led her back to the house

Jessie walked with Viktor into the house and yawned. "Walk me to my room?" she asked him. A goodnight kiss would be very enjoyable.

Viktor nodded, "of course my dear," he said softly. He led her up to her room, then kissed her deeply, pulling her close. "I see you in the morning?" hea sked.

Jessie leaned against him her hands on his chest as he kissed her deeply. She hummed against his lips and with heavy desiring eyes looked up at him. "Yes I will see you in the morning." she said and smiled pecking his lips once more before turning and moving into her room. Once she was inside she pulled off her shoes and placed them down then pulled off her dress still naked underneath because he had torn her undergarments earlier. She grinned then moved to her closet pulling out her sleepwear and tugging it on.

Viktor smiled and watched as she entered her room, he so wanted to follow her in, but knew she didn't want to seem so unlady like tonight. He made his way back to his room, and found a way to occupy himself for the night.
