‘Do we really have to go to this party? I’m tired. I really would just love to lay down in my bed and go to sleep. We just finished a string of concerts all across Asia.’

‘No were going out,’ Minhyuk told Hyunsik as he drug his friend out toward their van, ‘get in and sleep on the way.’

‘I hate you,’ he mumbled as he was pulled inside the van.

‘You love me,’ Minhyuk winked as Ilhoon got in behind him before closing the door.

“Plus, Hyerin will be there and we all know you still haven’t gotten over your school boy crush for her.” Changsub teased Hyunsik.

Hyerin finished getting dressed before going to meet her friends in the living room. Her boyfriend wasn’t happy about her going out, but she needed a break from him. He was drinking again and getting violent and Hyerin needed time to herself.

'I did not have a crush on her. She was just a friend. That's it. Nothing more. Just a friend,' he told Changsub who just smirked.

'Yeah sure you don't. Minhyuk in highschool didnt we have to hear Hyunsik talking about Hyerin with hearts basically popping out of his eyes?'

'Yes we did and everytime she walked away, Hyunsik would follow her with his eyes until she disappeared from from his sight line which wasn't creepy at all.'

'It was not creepy,' Hyunsik pouted.

'Gotcha,' Changsub smirked.

Hyunsik cussed and mumbled under his breath.

Hyerin and her friends were already at the party with a few drinks in hand. She was having a blast but she was also paranoid Jaekwon might show up.

Once they got there, Hyunsik went into a secluded part of the party to not be bothered by anybody. He wanted to just get some sleep but no, he had to come to this party and what's worse is that he had to see Hyerin and know she had a boyfriend. Yeah he knew. He was friends with some of her friends.

Hyerin spotted Hyunsik right away. She smiled before walking over. “Hyunsik! It’s been forever since I seen you!” She said cheerfully, going to give him a hug.

He gave her a hug before pulling a ay, ‘yeah it’s been awhile. Last time I saw you, we were in high school. You stopped calling me and texting me. I missed you, you know?’

‘Yeah he did. He wouldn’t let us hear the end of it. Hyerin this and Hyerin that,’ his leader teased as he walked by.

Hyerin smiled and then sat down beside Hyunsik. “I’m sorry, things came up. I was at your guys show in Japan a couple weeks ago.”

‘You were? Why didn’t you come backstage? We could’ve hung out like old times and explored Japan. I did have some downtime there.’

“I had an emergency at home.” Hyerin said. It wasn’t exactly a lie, but Jaekwon wanted her to come back home. He knew about Hyunsik and his crush for him, if her boyfriend knew he was here tonight, she’d be in big trouble.

‘Okay then why don’t we go somewhere now? We go walk around Seoul and visit that bar we snuck into as teenagers, remember?’

Hyerin smilef. “Let’s go.” She said, getting up and taking Hyunsik’s hand, leading him out of the party.

The others smirked as they watched the two leave. Hyunsik smiled, holding Hyerin’s hand as the two walked through the city.

“There’s the bar.” Hyerin said as they came into the view of the bar.

Hyunsik smiled as he led her into the hole in the wall bar. Usually at this time, this bar only has a few people still there. Most people left to go to a more upscale fancy bar or something similar to that.

Hyerin walked in and they went up to the bar. “Get me whatever you’re havung, I have to run to the restroom real quick.”

He nodded before walking over to the bar tender, ‘can I get two glasses of whiskey please?’

Hyerin came back a few minutes later and sat down. “So how have you been? How’s the idol life?” She smiled.

'Its tiring but it's amazing. I love making music with my friends, dancing and singing. Performing for our fans. But I missed you though. I wanted you there with me more than anything in the world.'
