Alma nodded, kissing his cheek before getting up to go over to the table where she'd set up breakfast for them. "Do you want to work things out while we eat?'

Caleb made his way over with her, 'hmm, I suppose we could do that," he said. He looked at her, "I think after we eat, we should both shower," he said.

Alma smiled a little as she sat down at the table across from him, digging into the food when she realized how hungry she was. "I took a quick bath before you woke up, but I could probably shower again. I didn't wash my hair well."

Caleb nodded lightly, "Oh, but still, I'd enjoy sharing a shower with you, regardless," he said softly. He ate slowly.

Alma blushed, nudging him under the table with her foot as she ate. "I would too... But I'm not sure that we should.. you know, be intimate for a while.. I'm a bit sore from last night." She admitted as she blushed brightly.

Caleb looked at her, "I know, I'm sorry, it's a bit hard to restrain myself around you," he said lightly. He finished up eating his breakfast, "thank you, for breakfast," he said.

Alma blushed, shaking her head. "It's fine, really.. And you're welcome. I figured you'd be hungry." She shrugged, finishing her meal. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

Caleb smiled, glad she was so cool about the situation. He sat back, "well, I'm sure you have questions, about how things will be now?" he asked

Alma hummed a little in thought as she sipped her water, looking over at him. "I.. I don't really know what to ask, to be honest.. Maybe just explain how things will be from now on, what last night means for us, and then I can ask questions from there?"

Caleb nodded lightly, "well, lets start with the mark, it means you are mine, I've claimed you, so others like me will leave you alone," he said softly. He took her hands, "It also means, I can't claim another," he added. He traced his finger over her skin lightly, "for us, nothing much will change, but it does give you the ability to call out the other me, and calm him down so I come back," he added.

Alma squeezed his hands gently as he spoke, slowly moving to sit in his lap, using her free hand to gently smooth through his hair. "How do I do that? Call you out or calm you down?"

Caleb looked at her, "I'm not quite sure, I'd imagine, if you were in danger and needed him, it'd come naturally," he said softly. He smiled weakly, "and it's probably just a matter of soothing him, and petting him to get him to leave," he said lightly.

Alma nodded, resting her head against his while she played with his hair still. "Are there others? Like you? I mean, obviously there must be, but are there any close by?"

Caleb shook his head, "I think the closest is in the next state," he said lightly. He closed his eyes, relaxing. "The other thing to not, is that you won't become like me, even from those scratches and bite," he said lightly. "By agreeing to be with me, you made yourself safe from me," he said lightly.

He looked down, "the issue would arise, if you were to leave, and stop being around me," he said.

Alma frowned, gently cradling his cheeks in her hands as she had him look up at her. "I'm not leaving you, Caleb. Maybe for an hour to go to the grocery store, but I'll come back. I am yours, and you are mine." She murmured, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. "How did you become like this, if the closest one is in the next state?"

Caleb smiled softly, "I know, I just wanted you to know," he said lightly. He kissed her back, "Hiking trip out of state," he said lightly. He ran his hand over her bite mark, "mine wasn't as clean as this one, yours will just look like a weird tattoo," he said lightly.

Alma nodded, resting her head against his again. "Can I see yours?" She asked soflty, brushing her fingers through his hair slowly.

Caleb nodded lightly, he pulled his shirt off, and showed her his back. There was large scratch marks across it, and a deep gouge where a chunk had been taken out.

Alma frowned as she looked over it, gently brushing her fingers over the scared skin. "I'm sorry.. I wish I could have been there for you." She murmured soflty, curling into his arms. "Caleb? Can.. Can I get pregnant?"
