Himchan looked at them, “don’t you think you were a little harsh on him?”

“Seriously?” Youngjae asked.

“Yeah, seriously. This person that helped him obviously knows about vampires, so why are you making a big deal?” Himchan said.

Youngjae tried to stand up to him but Himchan was taller, he looked down at him, waiting for the younger to do something.

‘Jongup could’ve been much worse off if that hybrid didn’t help him. He should’ve taken one of us with him. He should not have gone out alone,’ Youngjae told Himchan.

“Channie.” Yongguk said.

“No, he wants to talk shit about Jongup needing an escort, when it’s his fucking job to escort him.” Himchan said.

‘It is not always my job. It was Daehyun’s last night anyway. I was out and I asked him to escort Jongup if he wanted or needed to go anywhere the next day and he said he would do it Channie.’

It was rare that Yongguk ever got angry but when he did, it was a scary sight.

“Jongup is home safe, that’s all that matters. Next time we just need to all agree on who is taking him out.” Yongguk said.

Jongup sighed as he opened his window and snuck out. He loved his nest mates but sometimes they protected him too much. He was almost gone when he felt somebody grab him and pull him close to them.

“Where are you going, Jonguppie?” Himchan asked as he brought him close to his body. He was going to watch Jongup this time to make sure he didn’t sneak off again.

Jongup nodded and was about to leave when someone else grabbed him. He whined, trying to free himself again.

“Sweet store, he’ll be back afterwards.” Himchan said.

Himchan stopped Daehyun. “If he’s not back in half an hour, we’ll come looking for you, deal?” He asked as he looked towards Jongup.

Himchan sighed, “please be careful, okay?” He said as he watched the younger vampire walk off.

“Did he really say that?” Daehyun asked.
