‘I can do that,’ he smiled at her. When she asked if he’d be alright getting home. He didn’t know. Leah was a skilled hunter. It was hard getting past her. He was scared if he went home then he would have trouble getting to Clara for their date, ‘and remember how you said I can stay with you if I needed to. I don’t want to trouble you but I don’t want to go home right now,’ Leah would not try anything if he stayed with Clara. She would not risk getting caught with a bunch of humans around.

‘I think it’s time I get one too but I don’t know how to use one. I’ve never had one before ever. Would you be able to help me learn how to use it?’

Clara nodded. She understood what it was like to not feel safe going home. She had been there before. "Alright come on." she nodded in the direction of her place. "I only have the one bed though as you know... but I'm a cuddler." she said and smiled softly. "Sleep in my bed at your own risk." she said knowing he couch was too small for him.

As they started to walk towards her place she chuckled as he asked if she would help him use a cell phone. "Yeah I will help you pick an easy one out and how to use it. I think maybe we should stay away from smart phones for now." she grinned and lead him to her place. She let him in and kicked her shoes into the corner. She sighed and headed towards her room. She dropped her bag by the closet. "I'm going to shower make yourself comfortable." she said and grabbed her pjs before heading into he bathroom.

Yongguk smiled at her, ‘thankyou,’ he told her before she walked into the bathroom. He sat down on her couch. He felt bad that he was partially using her because he knew Leah wouldn’t attack in a place surrounded by humans. She wasn’t that stupid or desperate. She would not do that. She would wait to get him alone to strike. The only downside is Clara would wonder why he couldn’t go out ever in the sunlight.

That’s the only thing hes worrying about because he doesn’t have a valid excuse that doesn’t sound like bullshit that she will believe as to why he doesn’t go out during the day. He sat on the couch, thinking of an excuse until she was out of the shower and standing near him in her pajama’s.

Clara was dressed in her flannel pants and cotton pj shirt again. She looked at him thinking hard and she touched his shoulder. "It's going to be okay." she said and smiled softly. "Do you want a drink? Something for the nerves?" she offered knowing when she was as stressed as he was sometimes a shot would help her stop over thinking things. "You should shower too. It will help you relax. Going to bed tense is bad for your health." she said and grinned softly before heading over to the kitchen putting on the pot for tea for herself.

Clara couldn't help but want to help Yong. As mush as they didn't know each other and her being stood up hurt she knew there was more to him, something pulled her to him and she was going to trust that feeling.

‘I don’t even have any clothes but these. My other clothes and pajamas are at my house and I don’t sleep at night but thankyou,’ he told her, giving her a small smile, ‘but do you have tea?’ He asked. He loved tea. He could drink tea all day long without blood. It’s delicious. All types and when you add cheese on top, it’s amazing. He would have to stop by his house sometime to get more blood bags because their all in his fridge and he doesn’t have any more in his bag.

He needs to get his pajamas, some clothes and some blood bags for him to drink because he can only go so long without blood before he starts to get weak and when he’s really weakened, he’s really vulnerable and he doesn’t want to be in that position with Leah around and who knows if she has any hunter family and friends that she called. He doesn’t.

Clara chuckled. "I have some shorts I think might work fine while you wash yours." she said and went and grabbed them. "So you're an insomniac huh?" Clara nodded as she made the tea. "Herbal for night but if you wanted I have some grey too in the cabinet there." she pointed and sat on the counter swinging her feet lightly. She yawned softly and stretched out. She had a long day indeed. "Are you a tea over coffee guy then?" she asked smiling at him.

Clara made the tea pouring them into cups and handed him his before going back to the couch to sit. She curled her legs over each other as she sat on the couch holding the mug with both hands sipping it. She looked at Yong over her cup. It explained why he slept during the day if he couldn't sleep at night.

‘I sleep all day and stay up all night. It’s just the way I function. I can’t sleep during the night and be awake during the day. I can’t do that. So I guess yeah I’m a night insomniac and either tea is fine,’ he smiled, ‘yes I’m a tea over coffee guy. With tea I can drink it any type of way. Coffee I always have to add something to make it taste good to me. But the best kind of tea is the tea that has cheese on top where you eat some of the cheese then drink the tea. That is good. Really good.’

He smiled when she handed him his tea, ‘thankyou that is nice of you. Thankyou for letting me stay here and thankyou for everything.’

Clara had heard of something like this. She figured there had to be those kinds of people too. "Cheese?" He hummed. "Never tried it." Clara grinned at him. "I'll take your word for it. There is cheese in the fridge if you where so inclined." she said and sipped her tea watching Yong. He was defiantly strange but she didn't mind. In fact it seemed to make her feel more at ease around him.

Yong started to thank her again and she shook her head. "Please..." she shook her hand trying to get him to stop. "People shouldn't need to thank others for helping them. It is appalling how much we don't help one another and how often those few that do help are taken advantage of." she shrugged. "Just pay it forward I guess." she grinned.

"Why don't you tell me some more about yourself. You pretty much know everything about me. I am a dancer and I work... well you know. that is all that my life really consist of right now and the past well it's pretty boring I say. So let's hear about you."

‘Well I’m twenty-nine. I moved here from Seoul South Korea where I lived until my wife died about five years ago. I couldn’t live there anymore. It hurt to much. I saw her everywhere. She was everything to me and losing her just destroyed me. So I picked up everything and left to come here for a new start. My family has a lot of money so at the moment I’m living off my inheritance until I can find myself another place to work. I like music, I like to read. I like weird things to eat and drink like tea with cheese and cookies in my coffee. I can’t drive and I don’t have a drivers license. I don’t have a cell phone and I don’t know how to use one. Never went to college. I can speak a few languages other than English and Korean. I learned them from reading. What else would you like to know?’

Clara smiled as he spoke. She frowned as he spoke about his wife but then chuckled as he talked about the phone. "Wow Yong you are very out of the times." she smiled softly. "You would probably make a great bartender. All you have to do is take a few courses in drink mixing and you will be set. From 9 to 4 every night. Plus you could wow your customers with your foreign languages and learn everything you need to know except maybe driving. But I could teach you that. Could even teach you to ride a motorcycle." she winked. "Did you know I'm only 25?" she asked and smiled at him. "But don't feel bad I didn't go to college either. All the book smarts was never my strong point but I do love to read too." she pointed at her home library there on the built in shelves. "As a dancer I would have to love dancing." she smiled.

"I do want to know one more thing." Clara said setting her glass down and moved over to the stereo flipping it on. She turned to him as an old song came on the radio. "Do you dance?" she asked and held out her hand. It was an easy song to dance to. Clara wondered if he would dance with her anyways if he didn't dance as she watched him.

Yong had Clara thinking there might be more to her than she let on to. He had her thinking a lot actually. She wanted to teach him to use a cell phone, simply so she could talk to him more. She also wanted to teach him to drive so he could come see her easier. She couldn't deny suggesting a motorcycle was purely selfish thinking it would be so sexy to see him on one of those black sleek bikes.

When she held out her hand to him to dance to a song he’s never listened to before but had a nice rhythm to it, he took her hand and let her pull him up. He did dance but he did dances of his time. He pulled her close to him so that their bodies were flush against one another. He wrapped one arm around her waist, not to high up but not to low down and continued to hold her hand in his other hand. He swayed with her to the music, occasionally spinning her around. Dancing was another thing he could do, although he hasn’t done it in centuries. He may be a little rusty but he couldn’t turn Clara for a dance.

He smiled as they danced. It felt really good to be doing this again with her. To hold her close, to disappear from reality for awhile and lose themselves in a song as they danced for about five and a half minutes but it felt like longer with her in his arms.

When the song ended, they broke apart and he sat down to take a sip of his tea, ‘that was fun. I haven’t done that in a long time. I used to dance but Not recently. Thankyo...I’m sorry I keep thanking you.’

Clara smiled as he took her hand and they moved to the clear spot in her living room and he pulled her close. His hand pressed gently to her back and she blushed realizing just how close they where. It was a different kind of close than earlier in the night when she gave him a lap dance. This was what dancing should feel like, a little like falling in love, like a first crush, and coming home. As they danced she looked up at him. She grinned when he spun her and she came back to him and relaxed laying her head on his chest. She closed her eyes as she breathe him in and the song in the late of the night.

As the song ended she turned hearing a hip hop song come on and she turned it off. She turned to Yong and smiled as he thanked her again. She chuckled and moved towards him. "Good night Yong." she leaned down and pressed a gently kiss too his cheek. She picked up her cold tea and headed towards the kitchen. "Some of us need sleep." she teased setting her cup in the sink before heading to her room. She closed the door and pressed her back to the door sighing. She hadn't expected that at all, that rush of emotions and feelings.

Clara crawled into bed and set her alarm before laying her head on her pillow thinking about Yong. Sh stretched out then hugged her pillow. It wasn't long before she fell asleep thinking of Yong and that tender dance.

He drank the rest of his tea slowly over the hours as he picked an interesting book from her shelve and started to read. It was a book of English to Russian. He hasn’t learned that language yet so he sat down and spent hours reading over the first few chapters to learn the basics to the language. He spoke English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Latin and pretty soon he will know Russian.

He didn’t even realize that night turned to day as he poured over the first few chapters over and over again, reading the same words and sentences over and over again, practicing them out loud but not to loud because Clara was sleeping to get the hang of it. He had no one to practice the language with so he did it by himself.

It was a very rough hard language but he’s got time to learn this and many more. He wants to know every language there is to speak. It’s interesting.

Clara woke up to her alarm and got up getting ready putting on her running cloths. She came out of her room and dropped her bag by the door. "Morning!" she called from the kitchen. "Hungry?" she called putting on a pot of tea for them. It might be good for her to just go for tea today anyways. "I see you found the one book on the self that isn't mine." she chuckled. "One of the girls from the club leant it to me for a customer that kept coming around a while ago. I never was very good at learning languages." she said and chuckled. "When you're done with it though I can take it back." she said.

Clara started to cook breakfast going with burritos. She started with the potatoes and sausage before adding the eggs and cheese. "You like hot sauce?" she asked as she heated the tortillas. Clara grinned as she turned the radio on low. She moved around the kitchen like it was a dance to her.

"What do you do for fun Yong?" she asked. "Other than reading and listening to music, like hobbies." Clara wondered with those amazing hands if he could draw or maybe he worked on houses or something.

‘I learn as many languages as I can, even though I don’t communicate with people very much. I just like to learn them. I know five languages. This one will make a sixth. I used to work a lot with my hands. I fixed things that needed to be fixed. I do that around my house now but not with much else anymore. That’s what I used to do for a living but I don’t now. I don’t have a lot of things that I do. I read, listen to music and learn new languages. That’s really me.’

He placed the book down on the table, feeling the sun’s heat on his skin but not the actual rays. It wasn’t shining on him. He made sure he got as far away from the sun as he could. Standing he went into the kitchen with his cup to wash it before putting it in the strainer. He then sat on a stool near the island watching her cook, ‘what do you like do for fun? You’re hobbies besides dancing.’

Clara grinned. "So if I said I have a loose cabinet door you might be able to fix that for me?" she grinned at him. It was nice to have him around. She looked up as he asked her what she did as hobbies and she smiled. "Well I am too busy now a days to do many hobby like things. Everything in my life has been very structured into the limited amount of time I have to get my day done but when I use to have time for thins..." she trailed off thinking back. She use to do a lot of partying with her friends before she moved and realized she didn't want to be the party girl anymore." Clara thought about it.

"I guess I use to table in some EDM music, creating of course but I don't think it would be something I would be that much into anymore. I also use to be a cheerleader." Clara chuckled and shook her head. "I do yoga when I have time. I really don't have a passion for much more than dancing. If I couldn't dance I don't think I would know who I am." she admitted. "It think that is why I am willing to do anything to keep dancing." she said and shrugged. "I mean I like to sing but I have an average voice, nothing really worth pursuing to be recognized for." she chuckled and finished wrapping the burritos and handed one too Yong.

"I have really changed from who I use to be before I came here." Clara admitted but what she didn't say is a lot like him she had left after someone close to her died. Clara wasn't strong enough to talk about it just yet but she had a feeling Yong would fins a way someday to get it out of her.

‘Yes I can fix you’re cabinet for you,’ he told her smiling. He listened as he started telling him about things she used to do and when she talked about dancing, he could tell she loved it. He nodded, ‘that’s awesome. Keep dancing. I haven’t seen much of the dancing you do apart from last night but what I saw was really good. Keep doing it,’ he told her before taking a bite of the burrito she made. It was good.

‘So what are you going to do today?’ He asked as he continued to eat the breakfast she made. It was really delicious. He wanted her to make more or teach him how to make it so he could do it himself.

Clara grinned. "Good. I will leave my little tool kit out for you." she said pleased that he could help fix the little things she wasn't able to herself. When he mentioned last night she laughed. "That was not dancing Yong." she chuckled. "That was about sexual desire. No the kind of dancing I am talking about is so much more. Maybe one night I can convince you to come to the studio for a late night session and then you could see what I mean." she said and finished her food.

"Today? Well I run to class and spend the better part of the day working on structure and routines and auditioning for parts for up coming dances. But after most everyone is gone and I have the room to myself I let my soul choreograph." she smiled. Once I can hardly stand I catch the bus home, eat sleep and then head to work. But with you here I guess we will see what happens when I get back." she said and grinned at him. "You look tired Yong. I think it might be about time for you to turn in. I made the bed so you should feel comfortable slipping right in to sleep." she smiled at him. He seemed to love breakfast and she chuckled. Clara looked at her watch and sighed. "I should get going but I hope you have a restful day." she smiled at him and headed towards her bag by the door.

When she went to leave, he stopped her by the door and leaned in to lightly kiss her lips. The kiss didn’t last long and when he pulled away, he smiled, ‘have a good day. I’ll see you later,’ he told her before going back into the kitchen to clean the dishes and put them in the strainer before going to bed. His lips tingled from kissing her. It felt nice to have her lips on his again. He blushed as he washed the dishes before placing them in the strainer to dry.

When he was done, he walked to her room to get some sleep. He closed the curtains so the room was black before he stripped down to his boxers, folded his clothes and left them on the chair before climbing into bed. He pulled the covers over his body and closed his eyes. He fell asleep not to long later.

Clara went through her day Yong's lips still burning on hers in her mind. It had been sweet and yet it was the most exciting kiss she had before. Clara went through class trying to focus but once in a while Yong would pop in her mind. She had to work to focus. It wasn't until class was over and she went to her practice that her mind was focused. She used all her emotions to dance. She her timber when off she panted and stopped moving over to her bag. She grabbed her bag after drinking her water. She headed home.

The house was dark when she let herself in. She kicked her shoes off and moved over to the couch dropping her things. She looked in the fridge and grabbed out some cheese. Clara snacked on her cheese before moving her things to the bedroom trying to be quiet not to wake Yong. Once she snuck back out she moved back to the kitchen trying to figure out what to make. She was thinking ramen, she would need to go shopping before the end of the week with Yong eating over so much. She ran her hand through her hair.
