Audrey smiled as Benjamin moved around the back of the vehicle, watching in the side mirror as he rolled up her wheelchair. She hated using it, she hated losing her independence but she knew that she needed it. At least for now, while her ankle was healing and until she could get back on her feet. She was just thankful that she had Benjamin at her side to help her every step of the way. A part of her felt awful because she didn't remember anything about him or their relationship but he was just being so understanding and kind that she couldn't help but be thankful. Especially since Ben had been by her side every step of the way.
Pushing open the door, Audrey smiled as she forced herself out of the car. She balanced on one foot, thanking Ben quietly as he helped her into her wheelchair.
"You know, I think you really might be a prince," Audrey teased, smiling up at him. She set her hand on his for a moment, brushing her thumb over his hand on top of the wheelchair. "Being so patient with me this whole time," she murmured. She pressed a little kiss to the side of his hand. "What did I ever do to get you?"
Audrey turned back around in her seat, watching as Ben rolled her toward the front door of the
mansion that Ben had told her all about. They had just moved into it a few months ago, planning on starting a family soon. They both enjoyed the idea of being able to raise their children away from society's constant pressure.
"I was the one that picked this place out, right?" Audrey asked as she glanced toward Ben. "Because there's no way you had this amazing taste," she teased softly.
