The rest of the day seemed like it had gone by in a blur. One moment, Skye was leaving Felix's office and the next she was driving back to the apartment she shared with her best friend. It was so weird, kinda like a dream? Did she really agree to be fake engaged to her boss? Did she really agree to call him Felix? Did she really have coffee spilled on her? Judging from the gross texture of her hair, that part was true. Which meant this whole little thing was true.
"I am so doomed," Skye mumbled to herself as she washed off the stale coffee in the shower. Her eyes closed as she rested her forehead against the tile of her bathroom shower wall. "I've never even had a boyfriend, how the hell does someone act when they're in love?" She mumbled once more to herself so that her roommate wouldn't hear her. A tired groan escaped from Skye as she finished up in the shower, making sure to use her favorite body wash to help lift her spirits.
Then, after about twenty minutes, Skye escaped from the bathroom with a towel around herself as she went to her dresser that was in the master bedroom, as in the only bedroom in the apartment. "What to wear, what to wear?" Skye mumbled to herself as she looked through her clothing, trying to figure out what one wears when they go to see their boss at their home.
The reminder that Felix is her boss and she's going to his house causes another blush to bloom on Skye's cheeks as she digs around for something nice to wear. When out of the corner of her eye, she spots something on her friends closet door. "Oh!" Skye mumbled as she noticed the
pretty dress that was on a hanger. "Hey, Mel! Can I wear your dress?" Skye called out to her best friend who was either in the living room or kitchen. "Yeah." Her friend called back, which caused Skye to feel a little giddy at the thought of wearing something so pretty.
About an hour later, Skye was walking out of her apartment in the dress she was borrowing from her friend and getting into the waiting car. Her stomach was doing butterflies as the car moved. The driver didn't try to make any small talk with Skye, nor did he play any music, the ride was just quiet. Awkward would be a better word for it, supposedly. Although Skye didn't mind, she was too interested in watching the scenery go by as Felix lived on the opposite side of town then her. While Skye lived in the lower-middle-class area, Felix obviously lived in the higher end. Which was to be expected since he was going to become the CEO of his father's company.
As they arrived at Felix's mansion, the driver got out and let Skye out of the car. Then, he walked her to the door and opened it for her. "The master should be expecting you in the living room." The man said and pointed towards the direction of the living room before disappearing who knows where.
Following his directions, Skye slowly made her way towards the living room. Her bright green eyes taking in the expensive decor as she walked, her heels clicking slightly and echoing in the halls. "Hey." She said quietly as she entered the living room, and spotted Felix. A small smile coming along her lips as she paused in her movements, not sure what else she should be doing at the moment. "Do you live in suits?" She asked, trying to tease him a little bit and break any sort of awkward atmosphere there could be between them.
