Starstruck [closed]

Savannah sighed as she sat down at the table in the restaurant. Today she was suppose to be meeting this Axel guy. Her manager thought it was a good idea to have her pretend to date him for both of their images. Apparently, Savannah needed to have a boyfriend so she looked more approachable. She didn’t understand why they had chosen a troubled soul like Axel for her to be with though. He was a jerk from what she had seen in the tabloids. She couldn’t exactly go off of that though because they never told the truth. Savannah took a sip of her water, looking out at the water from where she sat on the deck. She was hoping that this would go well. She didn’t think that it would though.

She looked up as she seen Ellis walking towards her. Ellis had been Savannah’s manager for a long time and she had put up with a lot of her stuff. Savannah looked at her from behind her sunglasses as she neared the table. “Well, where the hell is this guy?” She asked, crossing her arms. She frowned as she looked at her. “I’m just saying if he is an asshole i am calling him out on his shit.” She said. She looked over when she heard some noise, seeing two guys walk in with a man in a suit. “Oh great they are here. Are you sure this is a good idea?” She asked, looking at her.

Savannah watched as the guys got closer, letting her eyes, move to the one covered in tattoos. “Sorry we are late.” Their manager said. He looked at the two girls. “Um..Axel this is Savannah. Savannah this is Axel.” He said. Savannah looked at Axel, taking him in for a minute. “Hi.” She said. She didn’t know why she was wasting her time with this. She didn’t need this guy. If anything he would make her look bad. “Oh and this is Trevor. He is the bands drummer.” His manager said. Savannah watched as the other guy waved and looked over towards the bar. “Well, sit.” She told them, motioning to the chairs near Ellis.

Trevor walked into the restaurant with Axel, smirking. “I can’t believe you have to be her fake boyfriend. You know I heard she is a total bitch. Like really hot, but a total bitch.” He said, chuckling. He walked with the manager, glancing around at the fancy restaurant. He was pretty sure that this play was way better than anywhere he had ever been. As they walked up to the table he seen Savannah sitting there with some other girl. He assumed it was her manager. He let his eyes move to the manager and smirked a little. He looked towards the bar as their manager talked to Savannah. She was already coming off as a bitch. “Huh?” He asked when he heard his name. “Oh yeah, hey.” He said, giving her a small wave. He looked at the table, then took a seat next to the other girl. “How long before they come back? I want a beer.” He said as he looked behind him.

“Trevor, it’s twelve o’clock.” His manager said.

Trevor looked at him, “Your point?” He asked, laughing. He shook his head, “There is never a bad time for a beer. Right Axe?” He asked, looking over at his best friend. He looked over when the manager mentioned what the guys did in the band. “Yea, I bang professionally.” He said to the girl, seeing Savannah stared at him unamused. “Wow, tough crowd.” He said, chuckling as he leaned back against his chair. He looked over as the waitress came over and asked them what they wanted to drink. “Sweetheart i just want a beer. Just make sure it stays full and miss priss over there will give you a good tip.” He said, motioning towards Savannah.

Once Ellis was off the phone she let out a long sigh before heading into the restaurant to meet with Savannah, taking her seat as she finished sending an email to the man she'd just been speaking with on the phone. Organizing Savannah's life had been her job for the past seven years, and even though she'd become quite good at balancing out the famous singer's schedule, it wasn't any less stressful than when she'd first started, especially considering that Savannah's popularity had only grown in that time, which meant that her work did as well. She offered Savannah a sympathetic smile as she took her seat at the table, smoothing out the wrinkles in her navy pencil skirt before taking a sip of water from the glass in front of her.

"I know you're hesitant about this, Savannah.. I have my reservations as well. But we need to boost your image, make you seem approachable and caring, and having a boyfriend will do that. I know he's not your first choice, but of the people I spoke with, choosing a man with a bad reputation is what works best for everyone." She explained, standing to greet Axel and Trevor's manager before taking her seat once more once everyone sat down. Ellis had known their manager for a few years now, which was the only thing that made this publicity stunt possible. If she hadn't already had the contact, she never would have reached out.

She was a bit distracted as everyone introduced themselves, running through the various appointments and appearances she had to get Savannah to in the coming weeks, but she did begin to pay attention as Trevor began to speak, a frown appearing on her face when insulted Savannah. "Mr. Buchanan," She began, turning to look at him sternly. "You were not originally invited to this meeting, but as a courtesy to Mr. Powell, I agreed to his request to let you join us. But, if you're going to insult my client and take advantage of our hospitality by being crass and drinking the entire time, then I will have to ask you to leave."

Axel shrugged as he followed his manager and Trevor into the restaurant, chuckling as his friend called the woman he'd be 'dating' a bitch. "Her manager on the phone said it would be beneficial for the band's image, so I guess you could say I'm taking one for the team... Next time though, I'm throwing you under the bus." He laughed as he elbowed him, grinning as they headed over to the table to where Savannah and her manager for waiting for them. Trevor did have a point, Savannah was attractive, but he didn't like her attitude, and he could only hope that it wouldn't be too much of a problem.

He waved a little in greeting as he was introduced, grinning at her. "Charmed." He spoke as he sat down, voice dripping with sarcasm. He chuckled at Trevor's jokes, rolling his eyes a little, and was about to ask a question about the whole arrangement when Trevor interrupted again. He had to stifle a laugh as Savannah's manager didn't put up with Trevor at all, elbowing his friend once more. "Yeah, Trev, we're being hospitable. Knock it off, will ya?" He teased, grinning over at Savannah. It was pretty funny to see Trevor get told off, even if the way Ellis was doing it was shrouded in politeness and formality.

Savannah was surprised when Ellis tore into the new guy. "Now Ellie relax. He has a point. They are our guest." She said. She looked at the waitress, "Be sure to give the peasants bottom shelf liquor." She said, her voice having a bitchy tone to it. She looked at Trevor and smiled, "Happy?" She asked.

The guys manager looked at Axel, "Here we go." He muttered.

Savannah leaned back against her chair and took a sip of her drink as she watched the guys across from her. Axel was pretty good looking and she could make this work. "Okay Ellie tell us what you and Mr. suit over there have planned." She said.

Axel's manager looked at Savannah, "Um..My name is Erik." He said.

Savannah looked at him, "Sweetie, your name doesn't matter to me." She said, patting his hand. The sun caught the diamond rings on her fingers as they shimmered.

Trevor looked at Ellis and laughed at her remarks. "Are you always this uptight?" He asked. He looked over as Savannah spoke and he narrowed his eyes. "You know I would argue but I'm not going to say no to free liquor, dollface." He said. He smirked as a beer was set in front of him. "Fuck yes." He muttered to himself before he took a swig of it. He had seen plenty of scandals with Savannah in the past and he wondered if she really was that crazy party girl. He glanced at Axel, seeing the way he was looking at her.

When she said something to Erik, his jaw dropped. "Oh shit." He said, shaking his head. "Damn, you are one rude little bitch aren't you?" He asked. He covered his mouth when everyone glared at him. "Sorry." He said, shrugging. He looked at Ellis as his hand relaxed. "I have a bad habit of just saying shit." He said.

Ellis sighed and ran a hand over her face as Savannah began to speak, knowing it was no use trying to stop her and get her to be polite. She'd been her manager long enough to learn that there was no stopping Savannah from speaking her mind, and she'd gotten used to having to make apologies on her behalf. She glanced over at Trevor with a frown when he called her uptight, looking like she wanted to say something, although she held back as Savannah continued to speak, belittling their guests. She wouldn't be surprised if Erik pulled out of the deal after this meeting, and she wouldn't blame him if he did. But if by some miracle this all worked out, Savannah and Axel would reap many benefits.

After taking a gulp of water to calm her nerves she cleared her throat, looking around the table, settling a particularly nasty glare on Savannah and then Trevor. "Are we ready to start talking business, or are we going to continue acting like children?" She asked before turning to look at Axel and Savannah. "Erik and I propose a fake relationship between the two of you, which will last between six months to a year." She started, pulling a few contracts out of her bag. She'd need to get everyone to sign nondisclosure agreements, as well as get Axel and Savannah to commit to the rouse for specified time. "There will be public appearances, photo shoots, interviews, you name it, and both Mr. Powell and Ms. Larson will reap the benefits from such a public relationships. Fans of both musicians will love it, and there will be a number of magazines and companies looking to get the two of them to do interviews and ads for them, which will bring in quite a bit of money. I know it's a bit of a long time to pretend to be in a relationship, but anything less than six months will be suspicious, and if we end it right at the six month date, someone is bound to notice. So, anytime after six months from now you will be allowed to end the relationship, but only after consulting with both Erik and me, so that we may make the necessary preparations. Any questions?"

Axel frowned a little as he listened to Ellis speak, crossing his arms as he sat back in his seat. "So, what? Are we supposed to just get caught making out in public a few times? And are we not allowed to see anyone else during this time? Cause I've been texting with this one chick, and I'm so close to getting her to come over to my place, and I don't really want little miss priss over here ruining my shot, y'know?" He said, glancing over at Savannah. "I mean, no offence. But unless you're going to suck my dick, I want to be able to see other people."

Savannah listened to what Ellis had planned and she didn't see how this was going to work. She had just met these guys and was already annoyed. She looked over as Axel talked about some girl. "Yes, god forbid you don't get your dick wet in some whore." She said, rolling her eyes.

Erik cleared his throat, "Um...Well in order for this to work neither of you will be able to be with anyone else. If someone sees then it will just cause trouble. Axel, you can't risk this because you already have enough trouble with the tabloids." He said. "But yea public outings and fake dates is what we are looking for. Social media will go crazy for it." He said.

Savannah frowned when they mentioned not seeing anyone else, but Axel. She didn't even know him. She took a sip of her drink and sighed.

Trevor frowned when he heard what Ellis said. "So, let me get this straight Erik. You want Axe to go six months to a year with not sex?" He asked. He started to laugh, "Oh good luck with that buddy." He said. He looked at Savannah, "Guess it sucks for you too. Back to using that vibrator again." He joked.

Erik elbowed Trevor in the ribs, "Shut up." He said.

Trevor chuckled, "Fine. Fine." He said. He got quiet as he looked at the menu.

Savannah looked at Ellis, "And what happens if we end up despising each other before the six months mark?" She asked. She could see that happening easily.

Ellis frowned as everyone spoke, getting a feeling that maybe this was a bad idea after all. She was grateful when Erik attempted to explain things to Axel and Savannah, but didn't appreciate Trevor's crassness, shooting him a glare before turning back to Savannah. "If that happens, we'll figure it out. We're not asking you two to see each other every day, or live with each other. Maybe for the first month or so you go out in public three to four times a week, but after that, two, maybe three at most, and theoretically, by the six month mark you might only be going out in public a handful of times a month, but will be doing more with photo shoots and interviews. All you have to do is tolerate each other when you're in public, when you're alone, you two can hate each other all you want." She explained with a little sigh, sitting back in her seat to look over the menu briefly before placing her order when the waitress returned.

Axel stifled a laugh when Trevor joked around, but grew serious again to listen to what Ellis had to say. She did make a good point, they wouldn't have to be around each other constantly, and he figured he could stand her for a few hours each week. "Alright, that seems reasonable.. What do you think about all this, Erik? You think this is really a good idea?" He trusted his manager's judgement, and if he thought that this was a good deal, he'd go through with it.

Erik nodded, "Yeah, I think it is a good idea." He said. When the waitress approached he ordered his own food. Erik had a feeling that this would all work out. "You two should be able to handle this and it will clean up your image." He said to Axel.

Savannah ordered herself a salad and looked at Axel. "We can pull this off. I had a party I was going to go to tonight. You guys could tag along and we could snap some pictures." She said to him.

Trevor listened to all of them and looked ar Ellis when they talked about a club. "Are you going to be going?" Hs asked. He had a feeling that she would really have some fun if she would relax. "I'm sure you go to clubs all the time with her." Hs said.

Axel looked over at Savannah after ordering his meal, shrugging a bit as he took a sip of his beer. "That could work. Take a few photos, talk to some people... You want to come, Trev?" He asked his friend, looking over at him for a moment before turning to ask Erik some stuff about how he was going to work having a fake girlfriend into his already busy schedule.

Ellis glanced over at Trevor when he asked if she would be joining them at the club, shaking her head. "No. I have to prepare press statements for tomorrow when people inevitably start talking about whatever happens tonight, as well as start reaching out to people about photoshoots and interviews and planning Axel and Savannah's future dates. I don't have time to go to the club and babysit you three." She huffed, taking a sip of her water.

Savannah nodded, "Yeah, we can try to get some attention. It will at least get people talking." She said, shrugging as their food was brought to them. She looked over as Ellis said no. "Oh come on. You won't have to babysit. You can come and actually have fun." She said. She looked at her manager and smiled. "I mean you don't ever go out." She said.

Trevor nodded, "Hell yeah I want to go." He said. He rolled his eyes a little when Ellis said no. He looked ar Savannah, then back at her. "Come have some fun. It's not like you have anything to do right now. We will have you home before your bedtime." He teased.

Ellis frowned a bit as Savannah tried to encourage her to go out with them, glancing over at Trevor to glare at him as he told her that they'd have her home by her bedtime. "I actually do have work that I ought to be doing. I have clients other than Savannah, you know... I don't know why you'd want me there, or if I'll have fun, but sure, I'll come along with you all." She sighed, thanking the waitress as she set her meal down in front of her before digging in. She often skipped meals in favor of sitting at her desk and getting work done, so work lunches were always a treat.

Axel grinned as Trevor agreed to come, and nodded as Savannah's agent agreed, although he still wasn't entirely sure why Savannah wanted her there. He turned to Erik as his meal was set in front of him, taking another sip of his beer. "Hey, are you gonna come too, Erik? Maybe you and Ellis can sort out more of this whole relationship thing." He had remembered how Erik seemed to gush whenever Ellis was mentioned when he was explaining the whole fake relationship plan to him in the previous weeks, and he'd remembered how he'd tried on five million different ties one morning before she came to meet with them at one point a few days ago. Axel figured he might as well try to help the dude out and set the two managers up, especially after how much work Erik put in making the band look good.

Savannah glanced over when she heard Axel invite Erik. She looked at the salad in front of her, moving the food around a little bit. She wasn't that hungry and she preferred to go party. She took a sip of her drink when Erik spoke up. "Yeah, I will tag along. We need to plan some more of your public appearances." Erik said. Savannah was hoping this whole thing wouldn't turn out to be a disaster. She knew that sometimes that happened. If people found out this was fake then it would be a awful. She wasn't to excited about having a boyfriend, fake or not. After her last one she was kind of turned off to relationships.

Trevor chuckled, "Yeah, I'm sure they will all be so mad when you don't work overnight. I mean I'm sure Savannah is your biggest money maker so it makes sense you go with her." He said. "Besides, You don't want Axel and I to corrupt her. She might go evil." He joked. He took a swig of his beer and looked at his food. He ate a few of his fries as he listened to the people around him.

Axel was glad Erik had agreed to come, and chuckled as Trevor joked about the him corrupting Savannah. He was pretty sure she was corrupted enough already, but he wasn't going to mention that now, when Ellis seemed very happy eating her roasted vegetables and chicken over rice. He popped a couple of fries into his mouth as he looked over at Savannah as she pushed her salad around with her fork. "So, what's this party going to be like? Any hot friends going to be there?" He chuckled a little.

Ellis nodded a bit as Erik said he would come so that they could plan more public appearances for the two, wiping her mouth on her napkin and taking a sip of water before speaking again. "That sounds perfect. Plus, if the press shows up and things get out of hand, we'll be able to fend them off while Axel and Savannah leave." She rolled her eyes a bit as Trevor spoke, choosing to ignore him and keep eating her meal.

Savannah looked over when Axel spoke and she set her fork down. "I don't think my friends should be something you are concerned about. So, no. There will be no friends." She said. She looked at her empty glass and sighed. This was going to be awful. She was just wanting to get out of the restuarant. "I'll be back." She said. Savannah got up, taking her purse as she headed out of the restaurant. She found a good place to stay out of view. She pulled a joint out of her purse and lit it.

Erik smiled, "Let's hope we don't run into that problem again." He said before he went back to eating. Travis frowned as he listened to the group. He watched as Savannah walked off, then looked at Ellis. He looked at his food, then started to eat again. He just wanted to get drunk.

Axel rolled his eyes a bit as she spoke. Clearly she hadn't understood that he was joking, and was overreacting anyway. He wasn't looking forward to this fake relationship, especially if she was going to act like this the entire time. It'd be a miracle if this worked out at all. He frowned though when she left, choosing to ignore it for a while, eating about half his hamburger and occasionally chiming in to Ellis and Erik's conversation, but eventually he decided to go and make sure she was alright, excusing himself before heading out of the restaurant, glancing around as he looked for her. "Savannah?" He called, although when he caught a smell of what was definitely not a cigarette, he followed the smell to find her standing behind some bushes, frowning as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Your manager know about that?"

Ellis spent the rest of the meal either planning with Erik or quietly eating her meal while he and Trevor spoke. She wasn't super surprised when Savannah left the restaurant, knowing that she got stressed and overwhelmed occasionally, but she was surprised when Axel went out after her. Maybe he cared, and this would work out after all. Once finished with her meal she asked the waitress for the check, grabbing her bag and fishing through it as she looked for the company credit card, frowning in frustration when she couldn't find it immediately.

Savannah heard someone come up on her and she immediately put the joint out. She rolled her eyes when she seen Axel. "Oh, it's just you." She said. She looked at him, "And to answer your question, no she doesn't." She said as she pulled her perfume out of her purse. "And you aren't going to tell her." She said as she put some perfume one. Savannah stepped over to him, "What are you doing out here?" She asked.

Trevor watched as Ellis searched for her card. "Lose something?" He asked. He finished with his beer and glanced around to see if Axel was on his way back. He looked over as Erik pulled his card out. "I got it." He said as he laid the card down. Trevor had a feeling the guy was up to no good with this girl.

"What's going to stop me from telling her? She'd probably wouldn't appreciate you doing that. Plus, if I caught you so easily, someone else might, and they might not be so willing to lie for you." Axel said, watching as she sprayed her perfume and then stepped up to him. "I was checking to make sure you were alright. You were gone a while, and I wanted to make sure you hadn't been hit by a car or something." He explained, running his fingers through his hair before gesturing back toward the restaurant. "You ready to head in? I think lunch is wrapping up, but I bet you could finish your salad before we leave."

"I could have sworn that I grabbed the card off my desk before coming here.. It's not like me to forget." Ellis huffed in frustration, still looking for it when Erik put his card, and she looked up at him in surprise when he said he'd get the check. "Are you sure? I know we agreed that my company would pay for lunch, so I don't want you to feel pressured into paying.. I can always use my personal card, and get reimbursed later." She didn't want his company getting mad at him for an unexpected charge, especially when this whole deal was a bit rocky.

"You won't tell her because I'm sure you have secrets nobody is allowed to know." She said. She shrugged when he mentioned checking on her, "Nope, still alive." She said as she looked towards the restuarant. "I'm not hungry, but let's go." She said. Savannah walked in as she heard Ellis talking to Erik about paying. She pulled her black card out of her wallet and handed it to the waitress. "Problem solved." She said. She sat down and looked at them.

Trevor watched as Axel came back, glancing at him. He figured something was up. He looked at Savannah then crossed his arms. "Can we go now?" He asked as the waitress brought Savannah's card back. Trevor got up and waited for everyone else. "Alright, let's go get drunk." He said, grinning. He had loved the partying that came along with being a rockstar.

Axel rolled his eyes a bit as she explained why he'd keep her secret, chuckling a little. "You're lucky that I'm willing to lie for you. I'll take it as a you owe me one." He said before leading her back into the restaurant, watching as she simply paid for lunch, despite Ellis' protests.

"Savannah, you know that I don't like it when you pay for these meals.. It's hard to do the reimbursement paperwork." Ellis sighed, but stood once the waitress had brought the receipt, tucking it into her bag before standing and looking between the rest of them. "Are we ready?"

Savannah looked at Ellis, "Here's an idea. Don't worry about it. It's not like it was expensive." She said as she walked out with the group. When they got to the club she walked to the bar and found a bartender. "Can I get a tequila shot and a martini?" She asked, watching as the guy left to go make the drink. She just wanted to relax and have fun.

Trevor walked into the club and heard Savannah order, then ordered himself a beer. He leaned against the bar and looked around at all the people in it. It was going to be an interesting night.
