Savannah had scoffed and turned away from Brandon when she realized that he was shirtless, rolling her eyes. She wasn't surprised. He wasn't considerate about others, she knew that. He wasn't about to start doing that now. Huffing at his comment, Savannah could only shake her head as she turned in the doorway. "Oh. Now you care? Will I ruin your precious reputation if someone sees me walking around in my pajamas?" She answered, rolling her eyes again. She flashed a bright smile, putting on all of the charm that she knew. "Oh, don't worry, Mr. Edwards, sir. I'm just going to go walk down to the beach. No one will see me," she answered with a dry laugh. She didn't answer his comment about cinnamon waffles, disappearing through the door.
She continued walking until she found herself on a little cliff by the ocean. It still blew her mind that Brandon lived less than a five minute walk from the beach. She dropped to the ground and pulled her legs up, her bottom lip wobbling as she fought back tears. She didn't want to cry. Not again, but she couldn't help it. Squeezing her eyes shut, Savannah let out a shaky breaky. She hung her head, letting out a sharp sob as her tears started to fall.
It was nearly noon by the time that Savannah managed to drag herself back to Brandom's house. She was completely exhausted, she felt the weight of her loss in every fiber of her being. Shoving the door closed, Savannah kicked off her shoes before she turned toward the stairs. She had no intention of staying down here, where she could potentially run into Brandon. Savannah was angry and hurt and she didn't want to make their relationship any worse than it already was. Her temper did tend to get the best of her, thanks to their father.
