"Pathetic." Henry muttered, looking down at Frank Morello, blood pooling under his head from the hole Henry had just put in his head. He lowered his gun, turning to look over his shoulder at his men. "Why are you just standing there, boys? Put this hotel on lock down."
Frank Morello had been the top dog, his gang ran the whole upstate of New York. You name it, his hands were in it. Money laundering, bribery, drugs, illegal weapons, all of that while he used this fancy five star hotel as a front. Henry wasn't just some punk sticking his neck out for no reason, his family dominated the west coast, and he was looking to expand. He had moved to New York while his brothers held his businesses down in California.
When he heard the whole underground mafia scene on the east coast was being ran by a beta... He couldn't let that continue. "Kill anyone whose not willing to bow down to new management." Henry fixed his tie, handing his gun off to one of his henchmen, before rudely stepping over the corpse of the fallen mob boss.
"Uh, boss man?" One of the cronies spoke up, causing Henry to arch a brow in his direction. "He had a kid. She's locked up in her room on the top floor. What should we do about her?"
"Nothing." Henry shook his head, sliding his hands into his trouser pockets. "Leave that to me... And, clean this up," he glanced back down to the body by his feet. "the kid doesn't need to see her dad like this."
The moment the body was removed, wait staff had been called in to scrub the blood from the floor. Henry hadn't expected the man to have a kid, especially not one he kept holed up in his business. Sure it was a large hotel, but a business like this wasn't suitable for a girl to be around.
Heading up to the top floor, Henry had his men stationed at every elevator door and every exit. No one would come or go without his knowledge. "What's the girls name?" He asked as he stepped off of the elevator, already eyeing the double doors down the hall that led into her suite.
"Sophia."
"And what do we know about her?"
"She's an omega."
"Oh?"
A smirk appeared on Henry's face as he smoothed out his jacket. Things just keep getting more and more interesting. "No one is to interrupt, understand?" He barked at his men, before taking a slow stride toward her room.
Stepping in front of her bedroom doors, Henry brought his fist to knock gently against the wood. "Sophia?" He called, his voice dipping as he commanded her to open the door. "Let me in."
