Kerri looked at him trying to register what he'd said. Busting out giggling, "That's funny." Kerri told him shaking her head.

“That sounds like fun,” Mia smiled.

“I’m serious Kerri,” Matt looked at her. “I mean, how else would I afford all of this?”

Brian smiled at her. "Good. Want to eat out for breakfast?"

Kerri stared at her husband shaking her head. "This is insane." She mumbled in shock.

Mia nodded, “Breakfast sounds good right now.” She leaned up and kissed his cheek before getting out of bed and getting dressed.

Matt sighed, looking over at Kerri, “I’m sorry. I should have told you sooner...” He ran a hand over his face, “I didn’t know how to bring it up.”

Brian took and got himself ready in casual clothes. Shorts, a tee, and flip flops. Putting his hat on and his sunglasses, he shoved his pockets full of his items. Going downstairs, he waited on Mia to finish up. He knew it'd only been a few months. But she spent a lot of time with him at his place. He was considering taking the next big step. But was hoping it didn't blow back in his face.

Kerri stared at him, "You think?" Kerri looked at him angrily. "How long? How damn long, Matt?" Kerri turned her attention from him and looked down at her hands sighing.

Mia has dressed in a pair of jean shorts, tank top, a light floral cover up, and her flip flops before walking down the stairs to meet Brian. She smiled over at him, “Ready?” She asked as she grabbed her purse.

Matt wasn’t surprised by how angry Kerri was and he couldn’t blame her. “It’s been years. It started about three years after we graduated...” He knew Kerri would be furious.

"I am." Brian smiled at her. "You look gorgeous." Brian told her.

Kerri narrowed her eyes, "All these fucking years." She mumbled. "We've been together since fucking middle school. You forgot to mention the fact about this? How could you not know how to bring this up?" She yelled slipping off the stool narrowing her eyes. "I need space." Kerri said going to their room and grabbing a bag. She packed some things and left going to her parents to get her head straight.

“Thank you,” Mia smiled over at him.

“It happened so fast that I didn’t have time to think it through,” Matt told her. He sighed, “The guys decided it was a good idea and then the money started rolling in and we were set.” He didn’t bother following her as she left the room, he knew better. “I’m sorry, I’ll give you space,” he said quietly.

Brian smiled at her as he walked out with her. Locking his house up he walked over to his car, and smiled opening the door for Mia. Sliding inside himself he pulled out heading to town. "Where do you want to eat at?" Brian questioned her.

Kerri sighed sitting in her old bedroom at her parent's house. She took and looked at the pictures that still sat and hang of her and Matt. Frowning she ran a hand over her face. How could he keep something like this from her? For so long. What else was he keeping from her? Biting her lip she sighed to herself.

Hearing Brian’s question, Mia took a minute to think, “I think that new restaurant just opened up, we could try there?” She suggested as she looked over at him.

Matt was trying anything and everything to keep himself busy. He knew Kerri was going to need to blow off steam. He was going to give her as much time as she needed.

Brian nodded his head, "Sounds like a plan." Brian told her smiling.

Kerri sighed talking with her parents. Listing to them talk her down. She headed back to her house. Going inside she sighed staring at Matt when he looked at her. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She simply asked.

Mia smiled as Brian drove to the restaurant. Once he parked, she got out and walked inside with him. She looked over the menu as they sat at the table, “Any idea what you’re going to get?”

Matt looked up as Kerri walked back in. “I thought it was better if you didn’t know exactly where the money was coming from,” he told her. He stood up from the couch, “If I would have gotten caught, it wouldn’t be able to blow back on you because you didn’t know...”

"I am thinking pancakes." Brian smiled at her. "What about you?" Brian questioned as he laid the menu down and stared at her a moment. "Mia, can I ask you something?" Brian questioned.

Kerri stared at him, "If it had blowed up. You got caught. It'd been best if I had known." Kerri sighed staring at her husband. "No more secrets." She looked at him dead serious. "I mean it." She pointed a finger at him.

“Oh, pancakes sound good. I think I’ll have the same,” Mia smiles as she put the menu down. Hearing Brian’s question, she nodded, “Of course, ask away.”

“No more secrets, I promise,” Matt told her, knowing he would never keep something like this a secret from her again. “I really am sorry,” he apologized.

"What would you say about moving in with me?" Brian asked curiously.

Kerri sighed walking over to her husband and slipping her arms around his waist. "I forgive you." Kerri whispered staring up at him.

Mia was surprised by his question, “I would love to move in with you.”

Matt instantly wrapped his arms around Kerri, “I love you so much.” He looked down at her and kissed her forehead.

"For real?" Brian questioned her with a smile.

Kerri held onto him and smiled kissing his lips, "I love you so much too." Kerri told him softly. "Now do you have any business today?" She smiled.

“For real,” Mia smiled over at him.

“Good,” Matt said as he held her for a couple moments. He shook his head, “No, I’m free today.”

Brian grinned, "When do you wanna do this?" He asked smiling. "I am game for today." Brian smirked a little.

Kerri smiled up at him, "Maybe we could do something fun? I have the rest of the week off from work." Kerri cupped his face smiling.

“I’d be fine with moving in today as long as it works for you,” Mia told him.

Matt grinned hearing she had the rest of the week off, “Absolutely, we can go do anything you want to.”
