Wonderland

"Yeah," Ariana replied instantly, "Just the whole thing with my dad is... complicated."

Frowning at her words, he took and cleared his throat. "Do you mind me asking something?" Neal questioned her softly.

"Go ahead," Ariana replied.

Killian sighed, making his way through town and knocking on the charmings' door. David soon answered and invited him in, leading him over to a small table with several books spread out on top.

"These are the books we kept of everyone that lives in Storybrooke, although we're certain there are others that are either too scared or just don't want to show themselves," David explained.

"Do you think that Ari's dad is in there?"

"I don't know."

"How is it complicated?" Neal questioned her softly.

"It's complicated because I don't even know if my dad is in this world," Ariana admitted, "Everyone thinks that they know my story, that book thinks that it knows my story... but that's not my whole story."

Neal looked at her and frowned, "I am so sorry." Neal told her honestly.

"It's not your fault, how can ayone know my story when I don't even know the whole thing," Ariana stated matter of factly.

"I am still sorry." Neal told her.

"Thank you," Ariana replied with a smile, finishing her food and checking her watch, "Damn, I'm going to be late... I have to go, but thank you for the food and I hope to see you around."

Killian sighed in frustration as he closed the book, shaking his head at David's questioning look and taking a sip of the coffee that Snow had made him.

"You're welcome, and I hope to see you as well." Neal told her seeing her rush off. Frowning a little he decided to do a little digging. Something about her was familiar, but something was pulling him in also.

Ariana made her over to the Charming's apartment and climbed the stairs, knocking on the door. She waited patiently outside, hearing movement and smiling as David opened the door.

"Hey kid," he said, hugging her and stepping aside to let her in.

"Ari," Killian greeted, also hugging her and kissing the side of her head, "You're normally the first one here, did you get lost?"

"Erm... actually, I was having breakfast with someone."

Once he was in the library, Neal grabbed a book and sat down. His research began about Ariana and the new woman that appeared out of the blue here.

"Wait, you actually... willingly had breakfast with someone other than me or Killian?" David asked surprised.

"Yeah," Ariana replied with a mock glare, "He was really nice."

"It was a he?" Killian added.

"Okay, stop that."

Neal took and flipped through countless pages, coming up empty handed. "I can't believe this." Neal took and sighed. "Not one thing." He told himself.

"Do you think that it's possible for me to... do you think that I might be able to have a normal life here?" Ariana asked with a slight frown.

"You can have anything you want to here, Ari," David told her, pulling her into a hug and kissing her head, "Nobody needs to know who you are, not unless you trust and want to tell them."

Pushing the book away, Neal sighed to himself. Deciding on going to get Henry and spend time with him. He headed to David and Snow's place figuring his son was there with Emma.

"I don't think my dad came here..." Ariana admitted after looking through another dead end, "If he did, we would have found him by now."

"That's not true," David stated, though his face gave away his real thoughts, "We'll find him, Ari, it just might take some time."

Hanging out with Henry, Neal smiled walking his son back to Emma's place. "Tonight was fun kiddo." Neal told him.

"Yeah it was. So are you crushing on someone?" Henry asked.

"Alright kid." Neal laughed. "Let's not do this tonight." He ruffled his son's hair up and gave him a small smile before going up to the door and knocking.

Killian soon left and headed back to the boat, dropping onto his bunk with a sigh. He loved his boat, but there was a part of him that longed to experience living in a place that was his and no matter how stupid he felt... the feeling wouldn't shift.

It was late by the time Ari left the Charming's, having been invited to dinner by Snow and she decided to take a walk down by the docks.

Deciding on a walk because she just couldn't clear her mind. Ariel took and sighed softly as she ended up bumping into someone. Frowning she looked at the other female, "I am so sorry." Ariel apologized to her.
