Let Down

Sorina sighed softly to herself as she finished cutting her client's hair. She was glad too because this client have been trying to make moves on her ever since she came back to Seoul. However she always declined his offers to go out with him, because Sorina is a single mother to two year old girl and she just wasnt ready for another relation that will most likely lead to heartbreak.

Thankfully, she didn't have to deal with his flirting and plea to get her to go on a date with her, for too long. After he had left, she began clearing her station in case she had a walk-in appointment come before her next scheduled client would appear. However, as soon she was finished cleaning up, Sorina was called up to the front to take in the walk-in client. She walked towards the front, but almost stumbled when she saw that her next client was her ex-boyfriend, Jaebum. Quickly getting herself together, she walked towards him and smiled softly, hoping he wouldn't recognize him. "Hello, sir. I'm Sorina, your stylist. You can follow me back to my station." She greeted before leading back to her station.

Jaebum decided it was time to change up his look since he was doing bigger and better things with his life now. He went into a salon that was recommended by one of his co workers and was surprised by how neat it was.

He looked up whenever his stylist introduced herself and he just stared in awe. She was beautiful and she had a beautiful, almost familiar name, he could have sworn he heard that name before but he didn’t linger on it too much, as he followed her back to her station. “Thank you for taking me in. A buddy of mine recommended me this place but didn’t give me a number to call and make an appointment.” He explained as he sat down in the chair.

Seoyoung was out with her daughter, doing birthday shopping for her mom. Over the last couple of weeks, it had been hectic, especially when her ex boyfriend and the father of her beautiful daughter, tried to get back into her life.

About three weeks ago, Hanbin had messaged her on a popular social media site and began asking her if she was the same Seoyoung he used to date and of course, she couldn’t lie to him, so she said yes. He had been wanting to meet up in person but Seoyoung continued rejecting him, afraid of how he would react if he found out she had a daughter, let alone that it was his daughter.

However, she didn’t expect to run into him today while she and Minju were leaving one of the stores in the mall, but as they walked out, Hanbin was passing by and their eyes locked and he immediately called out to her, causing her to stop in her tracks.

Sorina was glad that Jaebum did not recognize her, at least that's what she was hoping for, because it would have made this interaction even more awkward for her. "It's no problem. You arrived at a perfect time, I just finished cleaning up my station. Come have a seat." She told him, giving him a soft smile. Although Jaebum is her ex, she wouldn't be rude to him because she was at her job and she needed to be professional and she was not going to lose her job because of him. Besides, she just recently settled back in Seoul, after being away for 3 years and getting back on her feet.

Sorina draped the black cloth around him and looked at his hair. It has gotten longer from the last time she saw him and she admit to herself that Jaebum looked great with long hair. "Your hair looks healthy. You must know how to take really good care of your hair, or you must have a girl friend who knows good hair care." She commented with a small smile. "So, what would you like for me to do with your hair, sir?"

Hanbin was strolling through the mall, deciding to get out of the house. Ever since he left rehab for his drinking problem and living a sober life, he usually stayed at home. When he return back home after rehab, he had made contact with all of the people that were close to him and apologize for hurting them and his behaviors due to his drinking problem. When he had briefly connected with his ex girlfriend, Seoyoung, on social media it made him feel even happier, because she was the reason he got himself sober. However, he wanted to meet up with her in person and apologize for everything he did to her when they were dating, but she rejected the offer.

Sighing to himself he continued walking around until he passed a store and made eye contact with a woman and a little girl. His smile brighten when he recognized the woman as Seoyoung. She looked even more beautiful in person than her pictures on her social media page. He called out to her as he walked towards her direction. When he was in front of her, Hanbin couldn't help himself but absorb Seoyoung's beauty. "Wow, Seoyong. I didn't think I would ever see you again, but I'm glad we're he now." He said and then looked at the little girl beside her, that was holding onto her leg. "Hi cutie. "
