Rocky made his way to Raine’s parents house. He had helped her family in the past and their payment was that he would get Raine when she turned eighteen and the time had finally come.
He walked up the steps before knocking on the door. “Good evening, Melanie, I am here for Raine.” He greeted Raine’s mother who allowed him into the house.
Dani was on edge all day. Her parents said they would be revealing something to her tonight and that it would involve her meeting someone new. She had no idea what they were talking about but it made her anxious all day.
She couldn’t even eat dinner because she was anxious. So when the doorbell went off around 11pm that night, Dani sat at the top of the stairs while her father answered the door, before calling her down.
