Carnage absorbed the blasts that was given to him from the guards without so much as a scratch or being slowed down. He kept his quick pace, wanting to be out of these walls as fast as he could. He destroyed anyone and anything that got in his way. He broke through a wall, deciding that would be faster than trying to hunt down the entrance. Though that was his first plan because he would have to hope if it was outside or just another part of the prison on the other side. The bricks crumbled easily under Carnage’s force, revealing the sun getting closer to setting for the night. He let out a scream as he stepped through the new opening, and he didn’t wait around for more guards or reinforcements to come. He took off towards the city in the distance.

He could hear sirens going off all around him, but he doubted they would find him, let alone be able to stop him. He was unstoppable. He could do anything now with no way to be caught and no one to stop him. He was going to get what he always wanted. He moved with the speed that the symbiote gave him and got into the city in a matter of a few minutes. Once he was in the city, he had one thing on his mind. And he just had to find her and give her a freedom like his.

Thea smiled. “Well, I’m glad that you like it. Have as much as you want,” she said, waving a hand towards the pan. She nodded as she listened to him talk about Venom. “Well, as long as it doesn’t get completely damaged, then I won’t mind a little mess to clean,” she said, thinking that when Venom had saved her. She had noticed his size and couldn’t imagine him fitting inside this cramped space. Though she doubted she would be too mad if he was squeezing his way into her kitchen. There was just something about Eddie and Venom that made her feel at home and safe. Something that she had never gotten before from any of her past boyfriends.

Thea glanced over as the door opened to Carmilla. After Eddie told her friend what happened, Thea had been hugged tightly. She returned the hug and smiled at her best friend. “It’s okay. I didn’t get hurt, and nothing was stolen. Eddie stepped in before anything bad happened. My nerves may be a little shot, but don’t gotta worry about it happening again,” she said, letting the last bit slip. She didn’t know if she should mention Venom or not so she just shut her mouth. “Believe me, I know you would have kicked the guy’s ass if you had been around.”

“Eddie has invited us out to get some drinks,” Thea told Carmilla. She pulled back from the hug to glance over at Eddie, double checking if that was still happening. “Figured it would be fun and plus we can make friends here in town. Or well get to know our neighbor better.” She knew that what she was really in for. She wanted to at least get to know him before she jumped into something more serious if that was where it was hopefully heading. She looked at her friend hoping to get a read on her. She seemed a little on edge, but Thea figured it was just the stress of going into that prison. “Are you alright?” Thea asked, a little worried.

Carmilla was so happy and relieved Thea didn't get hurt. She would have not forgiven herself if she did, even if it was our of her control. When she mentioned Eddie was going to be taking them to drinks, Carmilla nodded with a weak smile "Yeah sure....I'm down with that, it would get my mind off of everything." Though, of course Thea noticed her being a little on edge and a little nervous that made Eddie glanced at her curiously. Carmilla was too scared to mention what went on and figured she didn't want anyone to worry about her. She never liked it when even her best friend would be worried sick. So she just nodded "Yeah I'm fine, guy was a bit creepy..."

Carmilla turned to Eddie, patting his shoulder "Thanks for saving my best friend....I definitely owe you a drink at least...." she chuckled, looking over at Thea. The idea of getting out of the apartment was a good idea, she was too nervous being stuck at home "I'll get dressed, give me a moment... I'm going to recollect myself and then I will he down to get going. I really need to destress myself" she said honestly as she headed up to go put on a midriff dark purple shirt to show off her stomach that had some purple rose tattoos along her belly button , black skinny jeans and her signature combat boots. She even redid her makeup a bit to put on some dark purple eyeshadow and black mascara and dark lipstick. What can she say, she loved the dark makeup.

Hours passed by and Carmilla was able to get to know Eddie a little as they sat down and talked. Eddie could tell the dark best friend was noticing him really liking Thea and it was a relief she wasn't getting offended by that. Carmilla even told him how relieved she was for someone other than herself be around Thea because of her crazy schedule and just glad someone not so messed up in the head at the moment. Eddie was wondering what she meant "messed in the head" but he figured mental illness and didn't want to go further.

When early evening rolled around, Eddie had a hard time keeping his eyes off of Thea. Venom was picking at him in his mind for really liking the woman but be didn't care what rhe alien was speaking. Eddie hooked his arm around Theas arm as they walked down the block to the bar with Carmilla following behind them. Eddie even noticed something was making her nervous but he didn't want to intrude. He opened the door to rhe bar when they got there, music blaring and the smell of cigarettes and booze hitting the nose as he helped the girls make their way through the crowd and to a table. Eddie pulled Theas chair out and helped her sit down "Okay ladies what do you want?" He smiled, Carmilla saying she wanted a Jack and coke as she rubbed her head where she felt something crawling on her scalp...Eddie not knowing it was a speckle of Carnage helping the psychopath track her down.

Cletus climbed up to the top of one of the first buildings he came to. He jumped to the next building over, trying to get a since as to where Carmilla was. He was going to find her, and it was going to be soon. Though he could sense that she one the move. “Where are you going, my dear?” he asked no one. He would find her, and he was going to have some fun. And he knew that a part of her would as well. He could still hear the sirens down on the streets and the rush off other cars all over the place. It was the city, and nothing ever slowed it down.

“Come out wherever you are,” he said, trying to get closer.

Thea knew that there was more than he was just creepy, but she wasn’t going to push her at least not with Eddie around. She started to clean up really quick. She looked over at Eddie and said, “Well, I’m gonna change really quick. I have flour all over me. I’ll be quick.” She went back to her room grabbed one of her favorite dresses. It was simple short sleeve blue dress that just went to the top of her knees. It flared out a little at her hips. She put on some blue flats and put on a lip gloss and a little bit of mascara.

Thea glad that Carmilla seemed to like Eddie and not try to run him off. Though Carmilla never seemed to be wrong about her judgement when it came to guys hanging around Thea, which was something that she was always thankful for. She smiled up at Eddie as he hooked his arm through hers. She kept pace with him and walked into the bar with him. She even blushed a little when he helped her into the chair. “I would like a cranberry vodka,” she said. She glanced over at Carmilla rubbing her head.

Eddie could not once again keep his eyes off of Thea. Her dress hugging her figure and flowing out was so beautiful to look at. She seemed to look gorgeous no matter what she wore. But, being the gentleman that he is, he was not going to push anything except just to have fun. Hugs there and there and embraces are fine....unless she wants to move forward, he was down for that but with respect.

Eddie ordered himself a beer and grabbed the drinks for the ladies, opening a tab for himself as he managed to carry all three drinks over to the table. There was a dance floor with some upbeat music to basically have a good time. People were in good spirits in this bar...but Eddie noticed Carmilla was obviously very stressed today.  He felt horrible that her college was overloaded so he was going to try his best to entertain the two.

"You look beautiful today" he whispered in Theas ear before going on to Carmilla what he did for a living when she asked him. Carmilla was showing interest, smiling when he sat close to Thea and rested the back of his arm over the top of the seat cushions behind her back. Eddie could tell she wasn't feeling good with being stressed but he understood...at least her friend was able to have a whole thing of jack and coke to take the edge off.

Carmilla tried to pay attention to Eddie as he went on about his job and was putting in funny jokes there and there. She could tell he was hiding something that Thea knew and usually she would try to investigate...but something was literally crawling around on her scalp and it was giving her a headache. "Hey you two go dance or something, I'm going to go have a cigarette and some fresh air" she said as she put her wallet in her back pocket and grabbed her cigarettes out from the other pocket.

"You sure?" Eddie said through the music with concern as Carmilla nodded with a weak smile.

Carmilla kissed the side of Theas cheek before whispering "Go dance girl, have fun...I'll be back" she chuckles as Carmilla made her way out the back door to the open night air.

The moon was bright and she could hear so many sirens far from where she was but the sounds echoed and it seemed serious. It didn't cross her mind as she shrugged, the sound of thunder rumbling in the other direction. She walked a little further out into the parking lot towards a little dead end ally, even though there was no one out here in this gated section. The crawling on her head was intensifying as winced and managed to grab it, bringing it into view as it was this red goop that pulsated with a growl. She shrieked and threw it to the ground, startled completely as her chest was rising and falling.

"I'm just seeing things....no....no..." she rubbed her temple, taking out the other thing in her pocket that was a very small container of emergency anxiety pills. She held the cigarette in her mouth, her shaking hands trying to open the container as the red gloop she threw off crawled up the building near her to the one person she feared to ever see outside of the cell...

Thea smiled widely at his complement. She didn’t know what got her acting like a young teen, but she was enjoying it. She figured it was him. “You’re looking good yourself,” she said. She listened to the conversation that was going on among the three of them. She couldn’t help but tell that her best friend was a little stressed and not completely paying attention. And she wished that there was something that she could do to help, and she didn’t know what it would be.

Thea watched her walk out of the club, and she was even more concerned. Though she wouldn’t force her to do open up in the middle of a club or when she wasn’t ready. She looked back at Eddie. “I think the interview got to her,” she said in explanation, not sure herself. “She should be fine in a minute.” It was more of a hope than a fact, but she knew to giver her friend space. “I guess tonight wasn’t the best night for her.”

Cletus could feel Carnage slip back inside of him. He smiled as he saw Carmilla coming into the alley. The piece of Carnage fell off her, and it rushed to him as he stepped out of the shadows. “Oh, trust me. You are not seeing things. I’m really here, just like I knew I would be,” he said, smiling widely. He came closer to her and reached up. He brushed his fingers across her cheek. “I should thank you. It was you who helped me escape.”

He held her cheek, and felt her soft skin was something that he was almost surprised by. “You gave me the perfect opportunity to do what needed to be done, and I need to thank you properly for that and give you a gift,” he said with a wickedly evil smile. He stepped closer to her as he moved his hand down to her shoulder and took a hold of her.

Carmilla heard that voice...that same voice that haunted her mind from the moment she met him. Carmillas eyes widened with a gloss of fear over her eyes as Cletus came walking towards her in the flesh. The pills dropped out of her hand and clattered where she stood along with her cigarette from her mouth. She couldn't move...she couldn't scream....she was frozen...as if his eyes were making her paralyzed. He was still in his prison uniform as he walked towards her, being so intimidating with every step.

Carmillas blood ran cold as he walked right up to her, towering over her as his hand stroked her cheek. She shuddered at his words, leaning into his rough cold hands as he held her cheek as a tear streamed down her face unable to know what to do. "Cletus please...." she whispered, her voice even paralyzed from this encounter as his hand gripped her shoulder. She finally took a moment to grab his wrist to try to pry him off but with his body pinning her to the wall, she could not stop the inevitable. Cletus' symbiote made his fingers turn to claws as they pierced through her shoulder to get into her body. Her hands gripped his arm and shirt as she shrieked in pain, watching in terror as a piece of Carnage snaked into her bleeding wounds. Her body shook intensely as she felt the alien slither into her veins through the blood, veins in her neck going black as her eyes clouded black for a split second to show the transfusion was complete. Carmilla felt so weak, her head pounding in pain as she leaned against him unable to hold herself up as she looked pale and flushed with sweat.

Eddie watched Carmilla got out and listened to Thea. He really wondered what psycho she had to interview today that got the worse of her. Back years ago, Eddie and Venom had troubles with Cletus Kasady and his symbiote, Carnage. Eddie swore that he was locked up good but...there should have been no way for anyone to talk to him.. unless someone had the right clearance. He didn't want to bother with questions and decided to rub Theas back "Shes a tough woman, let her have her space. I was like that when Carlton Drake got me fired from my job and made me lose everything...but I eventually got myself back up and now...I'm stuck with a alien in my body that makes me look like a crazy idiot" he chuckled, gently rubbing her shoulders as he used that one arm to lean against his side.

"Give her some time...don't be surprised if she acts a little weird. There was this one psycho i had to interview and he messed me up for...weeks" he summarized, relating to his nemesis Carnage "so I can see where she is coming from in a way. Come on, let me toast you to your new stay...your new home and rather very good looking neighbor hanging out with you right now" he smirked, toasting her glass as he chugged a good amount of beer, his thumb still rubbing her shoulder "I did mean it that you looked beautiful. I mean I'm not trying to hook you up tonight...I'm saying it blunt and straight because you look like an awesome woman who needs to be reminded that she looks amazing and also so far had a killer fun personality" he grinned, being flirtatious in a way.

Cletus watched her as Carnage returned his hands to his own hands. He let out a light chuckle as she leaned against him. He remembered the stunned look on her face when she saw him and actually realized he was in front of her. He hadn’t lied. He was going to get out of that hellhole; there had been no ‘if’s’. It just took this girl who had come to get inside his mind to get him out. Though he was sure that wasn’t on her to do list. He wrapped his arms around holding her gently. He lowered themselves on the ground, figuring it would be better for her to adjust to the symbiote.

He remembered when he came across Carnage and how he was when they first bonded. Cletus remembers feeling dizzy and disoriented for the first day or so. But he didn’t know if it was the same for everyone. Maybe she would pull through faster. Or maybe it would take longer. He wished he knew. “You are going to be okay,” he said into her hair. He was surprised that he was being this caring towards her, but he didn’t dwell on it. “You will pull through, and you will be stronger than ever. You will be able to do things that you once thought were impossible.” He glanced around the dark alley. No one had passed by or gotten close enough to see anything, but they were near a bar. Anyone could come looking for her. Maybe she had friends waiting on her. He still wore the prison uniform that he was forced to wear, and he knew he needed out of it if he was going to blend in better.

Thea nodded. “Yeah, I know she she’s a strong person and can do just about anything. I will still worry because she’s my best friend,” she said, leaning into him. The gentle rubbing was soothing and calming her nerves a bit. “I can't seem to help it. I don’t have a lot of family close by, and even some of them, I never been all that close to. But I will give her some space because she seems to need it.” She let out a bit of a laugh at the mention of his alien. She could see how Venom could do that, but she wondered for a second how often that could happen.

She listened to him. She felt like she heard that name before, but she was sure where from. She smiled at his toast and took a sip of her drink. She was starting to feel like her cheeks were going to be permanently res with the way he was making her feel. He was right. She didn’t hear that too often even from past exes, and she didn’t think much about until he said that. “Well, thank you. Usually the brownies is what draws them in,” she teased a bit. “And I’m being honest here when I say that you are very fun to be around, and I’m enjoying your company.”

The embrace from Cletus made Carmilla hold on to him tighter as she laid in his arms, staring up at him and then looking past him towards the sky. There were silent tears down her face as she stared at the stars, wandering deep into her mind towards that night that messed her up forever...the night that she blocked into the back of her mind for so long until the symbiote burrowed further into her mind and let it out. Carmilla squeezed her grip on his shirt, a PTSD flashback threatening to come out of her as she was trying to hold it back but it was nearly impossible. "I just wanted them to stop....I told them no...." she whispered, staring blankly as the symbiote fully burrowed into her brain and meshed with it "I told them it hurt.....it hurt so much.....and then....I felt nothing....." she whispered as she basically held on to Cletus like he was her last line of defense against the trauma in her mind that she never got to tell him....she wasnt even sure how he would react if he didnt find out already.

Carmilla felt so weak she couldn't get up from the shock of the symbiosis. "Get me away from here...." she whispered, a small portion of her alert mind not wanting Thea and Eddie to see her like this, so it would be best to go with Cletus wherever he wanted to go in the city. Carmilla held on to him even tighter, letting him carry her bridal-style with her arms wrapped around his neck. She was slowly feeling a hunger she havent felt before...something so dangerous and ravenous that she was not going to prepare for...not even Cletus would ever imagine. A symbiote far worse than Cletus was building inside of her...and it was going to cause more than the typical carnage once it got out....

Eddie smiled wide at the sight of her blushing, he thought it was completely adorable as he took another sip of his beer, watching her closely. He chuckled about the brownies "Well shit you definitely convinced me and my pal here. I honestly really hope you open that bakery just for your sake of succeeding in the world. This town needs better food anyways. I be also willing to help advertise with my journalism and what-not. Maybe I can make some connections for the newspaper" he shrugged with a smile as he felt a warmth in his heart when she mentioned how good company he was "Aw shucks, well thank you" he smiled as Venom of course put his two cents in 'Aww how sweet, I like her, you should ask her to be boyfriend' but Eddie looked at the wall funny at Venoms comment, knowing it was way too damn early to ask her that.

Eddie watched as people danced a bit at the floor, looking at her as he placed his beer down and slowly got up, gently grabbing her hands with his and pulling her to her feet "Come on, lets dance a bit. I suck at it but we can at least just move around and have fun" he laughed, bringing her close to his body as he guided her to the dance floor with everyone else "I got you dont worry...any guy messes with you I will kick their ass" he chuckled.

Cletus listened to her cried words. He was worried what happened to her. Though it was hard to guess what from what she said. He picked her up and carried her out of the alley in towards the quieter side of the city. There was a house that he had lived in long before he got arrested, and it was surprisingly still there, left empty. It would be safe enough for a minute before the cops figured out where he was. And yet, he knew that they weren’t going to just give up. Even if that would be easier. “Don’t you worry. You’re safe here with me,” he said, trying his best to reassure her.

Cletus pushed the door open and stepped into the house. His furniture was still where he had left. He hadn’t ever bought the place, but it was his. He would have killed anyone who had been living here anyways. This was his place. He carried her to the back of the house where the bed was. “Here lay down,” he said. He wondered what she would be missing now that he had her in his grasp. It wouldn’t change anything, but he was curious about everything that pertained to her. He sensed that she was like him, and he was right so far. He was gonna cause chaos with her by his side, and there was nothing more than what she wanted.

Thea smiled, thinking about how much the two had enjoyed her baking. She loved the fact that he was rooting for her. It was something that she always wanted and having someone there for her. “Hopefully, I will be able to open it sooner, but gotta get through college first and find the right building. And I would appreciate the advertising,” she said. She smiled at him. She hadn’t been expecting that at all, and she wanted to show it to him. She leaned in and kissed his cheek quickly. She didn’t even think about her actions. She smiled at his thanks, and she was curious when a look came across his face. She assumed Venom may be putting his own two scents into Eddie’s mind.

Thea let him pull her to her feet. “Oh, don’t worry. I’m not that good of a dancer either,” she said as they headed towards dance floor. She let out a little laugh. “Oh, I’m sure you won’t let anything happen to me. You proved that earlier,” she said. Thinking that this day could have gone completely different if he hadn’t shown up when he had. They stepped onto the dance floor, and she placed her hands on his shoulders and leaned into him. “Or was that more of your pal doing that?” she asked, trying not to be too loud to attract the attention of those around them.

Carmilla was so disoriented when Cletus carried her to the house. She squinted her eyes to try to focus on what was in front of her but it was so hard to do so. The world was pulsating in a way, giving her a headache. She watched as Cletus brought her to a bed in the back, groaning as she rested against the old dusty sheets. Carmilla was so confused with her body as the symbiote was fused with her mind in a perfect match to symbiosis. There was a beast dwelling within her. She watched Cletus leave the room to go change out of his clothes. He wore some kind of red shirt and black blazer with these black pants to match. I guess to her he wanted to be styled out to what he saw fit to represent his image.

Carmilla swallowed the dryness in her throat as she sat up a little, head still throbbing as she leaned her back against a big pillow. Her chest was rising and falling as she looked around the room and glanced at him coming near her, wondering what she got herself into. She was still pale and having glimpses of that horrible night that flashed in her conscious. "W-what did you...do to me..." she whispered, looking at him with worried eyes as she tried to sit up even more and groaned at the discomfort, her nails digging into the sheets.

Eddie had a cheeky smile when she kissed his cheek, those soft lips making his heart flutter and stomach do flips, along with other typical male instincts but he was more respectful on those terms. As they got on the floor, Eddie held on to her body with his arms around her to keep her secured. She seemed so strong yet she was already fragile from kindness and innocence that he was getting a tad bit protective. Eddie smiled at her words "Yeah he did most of the work but I'm mainly the brains of this organization in my mind.. he's just the brute" he chuckled.

Eddie moved along with her as the music went on, goofing off on his moves there and there to make her laugh as that was the one thing he loved to do and missed since Anne left him. Eddie eventually danced her over to an area of the bar to order some food for them to share "Hope you like cheese fries because they are spot on here...gotta have something to fuel from all that fancing" he smirked, keeping his arm around her body as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Hopefully your friend can join but I understand she's going through shit right now. If I don't see her, definitely tell her that she needs to give herself a break...working too hard is never good."

Cletus let out a laugh. “I gave you a gift,” he said, smiling widely. He leaned in close enough to feel a hint of her breath brush across his skin. “You have a symbiote of your own now.” He reached up and tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. He could imagine that she is going to be a little confused for a minute. He knew he had been when he first got Carnage, and he didn’t have anyone to turn to. Well, he could at least give her that. Help her come to understand herself, and become one with her alien. He met her eyes. “You are going to be more powerful and better than you ever were, but you will have to learn to feed it,” he said, knowing that he was going to as well. Though he had snacked on a few of the guards that had tried to stop him.

Cletus leaned back and looked at her fully. “The sooner the better, my dear. Your symbiote will get a cranky if you don’t feed it,” he suggested. Though he didn’t think she was ready. She still looked shaken. “Go ahead and ask me anything you want to know. You should be used to doing that,” he said with a hint of mockery in his voice on the last part. He hadn’t been able to hold it back. He felt a little antsy and worried about her reaction to all this. He was free and could do anything now, and he wanted her by his side. Which he knew that he was going to get one way or another. That was just how it was in his world.

Thea loved the feel of his arms around her. She felt protected by him, and if she was honest with herself, she felt like at times she needed. She tried to be strong as much as she could be. She moved with him around the dance floor. “Oh, so he just does the dirty work?” Thea teased lightly, looking at him. She was still trying to wrap her mind the whole Venom thing, but she wasn’t bothered by it by any means. Just something that she has to learn. “Don’t get me wrong, I know he can be, but I don’t think he is a complete brute.”

Thea laughed a bit at his moves, and honestly this was the first time that she truly enjoyed herself for the first time in a while. She knew it had to be the company. As they went up to the bar, she glanced around at the crowd. She wondered if Carmilla came back yet, but couldn’t see her out in the crowd. “Honestly, it’s a favorite of mine, and I won’t say no to cheese fries,” she said. She smiled and leaned into his side. “Yeah, I hope that she is okay, and will come back in soon. Though it wouldn’t be a surprise if she had already gone home. “Yeah, I always do, but I feel like taking a break this time would definitely help,” she said in agreement.

Carmilla shivered and watched him as he pushed a strand of hair behind her ear, slowly settling down as the alien in her body was rewiring every system within her such as organs, blood and whatnot, especially the brain. She stared at him as he talked, hearing the mocking tone in his voice that didn't phase her. She did have a lot of questions, especially with the eating thing. What the hell was she supposed to eat? "I guess...I will...find out myself what it wants..." she said lowly, taking out the pack of cigarettes in her back pocket as she handed him one into his hand. Carmilla lit hers up, taking a long drag before letting out a long exhale of smoke into the air. There was a rumble in her mind, like the beast was settling from the nicotine.

"Tell you something...this thing sure likes to...resurface the memories I blocked for years...all the forced hypnosis.....all useless now..." Carmilla said as she looked at him, clenching her jaw "that...bitch I beat up and cut her hair? ...well after it was found out that I was not given detention center and only psychiatric treatment and she had to be stuck with looking ugly, she...had connections with her brother being in a thug gang bullshit thing" Carmilla swallowed hard, taking another drag of the cigarette "Her brother and friends cornered me in the parking lot one day after a night visit with my social worker....and....well...." carmilla had to pause "Well....they forced me on the ground.. kicked me....beat me....and.....took my innocence away...they all did it...took their time for me to feel them fucking me" she held back tears for that, not wanting to cry about it as she looked away from Cletus.

"I was brutally raped that night....so bad that the nurse doing the rape kit left crying with how fucked up I was" she continued "I figured my family would support me but they just...didn't want to follow through...they wanted me to forget about it and not suffer through any more burdens I caused and any embarrassment to the family. So my dad got a hypnosis therapist and all these doctors to make me forget" she scoffed with a smile "Bad thing is, I was basically still a zombie after that for a while...had bits and pieces of that horrible night in my head but never the full thing. Nightmares were worse..."

Carmilla kept dragging on her cigarette, looking at Cletus "Never even told that night to my best friend...and now...it's all resurfacing....where I'm forced to face it...like you probably even care" she said coldly, her soulless eyes glancing at him.

'I don't do dirty work' Venom growled at Eddie 'I'm not your slave' Eddie just laughed, smiling at Thea "Sorry he's talking in my head being a dick. He seems to like you a lot because you don't make fun of him and get into couple-like arguments. Can't believe I'm stuck with this asshole" he muttered, listening in on her mentioning about Carmilla "She probably did go home. Poor girl needs a break after all this college. But I heard her clearly whispering there, she wants you to have a good time. Good friend that loves you a lot, glad she seems to like me" he shrugged.

Eddie dipped his fingers into the cheese fries as they came to the two of them. He grabbed one and held it up to her lips, poking them "you know you want to try it since you say you love it so much" he smiled, slipping past her lips as he chuckled. His hands released the fry that was in her mouth and went to getting his own, putting them in his mouth and moaning at the taste "This is very good" he smirked, sipping his beer as he noticed the TV in the far corner playing about a prison break that happened earlier, not really paying attention to it as he looked back at Thea "Tell you what these food gatherings we both created are the fucking best" he said honestly, wrapping his arm around her back "Been a while since I had good fun company...especially from a pretty lady"

Cletus looked at her as he lit his own cigarette. "Now, why would you want to figure things out for yourself? You have me to help you," he said, trying to get a read on her. Though he knew that he wouldn't be everyone's first choice to help through something like this. He half expected her to accept him and want him to help her. It came from him, and he gave it to her. A gift that he would never give anyone else. "There aren't many like us in this world. At least, not yet or known about." Now, that was a thought. A world with more symbiotes controlling the masses. He thought about the other one he knew about, but he knew better than to try to approach that one. It wasn't worth it just yet. He took a drag of the cancer stick in his hands. It had been decades since he had actual decent cigarette. He wondered just how settled her symbiote was now. It had time to worm itself into her mind and to get cozy inside of her. It was digging up memories of her past. It wouldn't be much longer that it would be making its demands and making threats if it didn't get its way.

Cletus blew out smoke slowly as he thought about what was done to her. He knew what she was talking about. The symbiote could drag up things from the past that you thought and wanted to be dead. "It likes to do that, and this won't be the last time it will. But you can use that hurt and anger, and turn it around on those that hurt you. Those that injured you and get your vengence," he said, trying to get her to meet his eyes. He had heard her shaky voice, and it had almost hurt him to hear it. He didn't like to think that cared, but he understood her pain and knew what being a victim could do to someone, and why no one would want to feel like one. "If you hid it from your best friend, was she really all that good of a friend to you? Did you think that she wouldn't be able to look at you the same way? Be your best friend? Or were you wanting to be scarier than her?" He was a little curious of her response.

Thea chuckled a little bit. She could only imagine what was going on between the two of them. "Oh, I like him too. Well, I like both of you," she said, a little shocked that he admitted that to her, but she was a little more shocked that she returned the words. "I bet he says the same thing, and yet you both would miss each other if you were with anyone else." She looked at the door and then back to Eddie. "Yeah, I'm sure she did at this point. I figure if she was going to hang around, she would have already come back in. I just hope that she had made it back safely." It was a concern of living in a big city that she very much lived through. Though she was concerned, she knew that Carmilla could easily get home and fight off anyone. She had the know how and the strength to do it.

Thea took the food being offered to her without question. It was her favorite snack, and something that she couldn't say no to. She almost let out a moan at the taste; they were good. "That they are," she agreed. She watched his eyes go to the the TV screen. She wasn't that much concerned with it since it was a news channel. "I mean they are very much so. Bonding over food is what I live for," she replied as she took another bite of the fries. She took a sip of her drink as she felt his arm wrap around her. "Oh, I feel like that's a little bit of a lie. I'm sure that there are girls chasing after before I moved to town." She liked the complement he gave, and she was loving his company. She didn't think someone like him didn't have a few admirers wanting him for themselves.

Carmilla stared at Cletus when he mentioned how he would help her figure things out and not be alone in this. She was grateful in a way considering how confused she was at the moment with getting used to this creature within her body that became a part of her…yet she was partially terrified. Carmilla finished her cigarette as he mentioned that the symbiote liked to bring out the worse memories in people and also the worse in people in general. The idea of getting vengeance on those who have wronged and traumatized her has always been on her thought for so many years….and something was telling her within herself that it would be the right way to get her form of justice.

As Cletus mentioned about her best friend, Carmilla really had to think about that statement…because in a way he was right. What if Thea looked at her as a tainted soul if she came out with the truth with what happened to her? Carmilla frowned with a nod “You’re right….” she sighed, feeling a gurgle in her stomach “Im…so thirsty for something….so hungry….” But before she could think, sirens were blaring outside of Cletus’ house. The cops must have immediately went to his house before anything else, not to mention the door was broken down so it gave them the idea someone was inside. “Come out Cletus! Game is over, we know you are in there” the cop announced through a megaphone as there was at least several cop cars lighting up the neighborhood in red and blue…and over 10 cops cocking their guns towards the entrance.

Carmilla watched Cletus leave the room to stand at the door frame, playfully putting his hands up. But that was when something brewed within her. Carmillas eyes were slowly going black as the symbiote coated her skin…it not being red and black but a totally new symbiote unlike anything ever seen: a purple and black. Her claws retracted into vicious black talons as her body grew to a good 7 to 8 feet tall. They symbiote snarled and slithered its black tongue around its razor sharp teeth. “Hungry….” she growled, emitting steam from her body as her own type of ability to get prey, creating a fog that covered the house and the entire area the cops were in. The cops started panicking a bit, telling to hold their aim…but it was only moments later when one cop was dragged into the darkness of the fog and screamed out in terror as flesh was ripped and blood poured all over the ground….the rise and hunt of the Banshee.

“Well thank you for liking both of us” Eddie chuckled, “And yeah probably would have a point there. Venom could not live without me…well literally, i am the hose to him and he would unfortunately die if I were to left him stranded out with nothing to attach to. You see Venom picked my body because apparently our DNA matches perfectly. If my DNA didn’t match up with the symbiote then basically my body would reject it and would go into a state of arrest, crippling apart into death” he shuddered “Its scary to think about but honestly, Venom has been a gift of a friend to my head…and at times a curse because he can be quite chaotic” Eddie chuckled, nodding at the bonding of food is what she lived for that made him smile wide.

“Well you know what they say: to get to a mans heart is through his stomach and lady, you did just that…especially with me being a foodie type of guy…and Venom, not forgetting about him” Eddie chuckled, shaking his head when she mentioned how girls were chasing him “Nah, girls never chased me. I kind of become standoffish at times so they get too intimidated to approach me. But it is what it is, I met you and thats all that matters. Sure I met Anne in the past but that didn’t work out when I fucked up her job. Now she’s happy with her new husband and Im okay with that. When I get into legal shit with Venom she comes around to help me out with it considering she was a lawyer…and her husband is a surgeon so it all works out when I need help” he shrugged, taking another bite of some fries.

Eddie leaned in and kissed the side of her head, “At least with us living across from each other we can greet each other every day..and if you ever have a very bad day, just come knocking on my door…or, call me or text me, either or is fine” He said, getting his phone out to prepare giving his number to her and get her number as a statement about the escape of Cletus Kasady was playing on the breaking news on the TV he was staring at briefly moments ago.

Cletus smiled as acceptance came across her face about her situation. He nodded when she had agreed with him about her friend. He knew how the regular people worked. They didn't care for damaged goods. It was too much for them. Didn't have the need or desire to help those around them if it required too much from them. He had seen it so many times from one person to another through his years in the orphanage and was disappointed by them. He hadn't felt the passion to see the good in those around him for a long time. He was about to tell her just what it was she was hungry for the cops outside announced their presence. What perfect timing, he thought mostly to himself. He teasingly had his hands up about to call Carnage to the surface. When he saw the smoke that was coming from the new symbiote, he was curious. He allowed Carnage to come to the surface and joined in with Carmilla's alien. He took down the cops still pointing a gun at him.

Carnage opened his mouth wide as he grabbed the closest person to him. He bite down over the person's head and swallowed it whole, not even bothering with chewing. He glanced over at her and got a good look at the black and purple symbiote, and he was half way in shock. He had never seen anything like that even Carnage was curious about it. Though he had to admit he was half in love with her eagerness to destroy and eat all those around her. He was curious about how she was able to produce fog, but he knew each symbiote had their own gift. She was just as he had hoped her to be. The symbiote just made Carmilla complete in his eyes. "You want more?" he asked. Carnage's voice was deep and growly. Very much like he had been chewing on some gravel. "Because we can always have more. Just gotta hunt."

Thea smiled as she listened to him. She had to admit she liked listening to him talk about Venom. Eddie seemed to be very fond of him, and it showed in his voice. "Well, I mean, that's something my grandmother always told me. I needed to learn to cook if I wanted to get a man," she joked. It was something her grandmother had said once she had turned sixteen, and then it would get into a story about her and her grandfather. She hadn't remembered him since he had past when she was very young, but she remembered the stories about him. "I'm sure that I have caught a few girls looking your way since we got in here, though I don't blame them. I'm looking to."

She nodded listening to his story about his ex. She was glad that they weren't on completely bad times now, but it was always sad to Thea when relationships ended. Though she knew that she probably wouldn't be here right now if he was still with her. "Well, I'm glad that you sound like you two are on better terms now," she said with a weak smile. She did mean that though she was glad that she could be here with him.

Thea blushed feeling his lips on her skin again. "Yeah, that is true. Having you as a neighbor is a good thing," she said, reaching for her phone. She recited her phone number, surprised that she had remembered it on the first try. She never called herself. She seemed to catch his eyes going over to the TV. Seeing that so criminal had broken out of prison made her just a little uneasy. She scooted just slightly closer to Edie without even thinking about it. She doubted the likelihood of her running into the person, but still she didn't like the idea that she could.

Carmilla was there mentally watching all the cops get mutilated as being the Banshee. Of course she didn't give the name away yet...but...the whole experience was like she was seeing through tunnel vision and on a massive euphoric adrenaline rush. It for some reason felt...amazing...it felt so free being able to be more intimidating than inferior and vulnerable for once in her life. To take over and have the powers now to be taller, monstrous, and dangerous was something she always wanted be feared as. She hated being a victim...and this was the fix she needed. Being as Banshee, she hunched over and snarled lowly at Carnage, the white eyes glancing at him as her fanged mouth was covered in blood and organ chunks. She didn't just only kill for sport...she absolutely destroyed the body of these fucking cops. Before she could answer in any way, Banshee heard a whimper next to her as a cop with a dismembered leg from her bite was bleeding out on the road and people were terrified in their homes. As sirens were heard in the distance, Banshee turned towards the cop and let 2 of her black tendrils wrap around the cop that panicked in terror. She revealed a wide fanged smile as suddenly those tendrils popped out numerous thorns like rose vines and impaled the man. She crushed the man with the spiked tendril and grinded him up to leave chunks of him over the road. Banshee had rhe thorns retract back into the tendrils as she let go of the man and leaned in to gobble up the remains.

Banshee rose up and looked at Carnage, heaving like a predator unlike any other, "I...am....Banshee..." she growled, the sound like a slightly higher pitched version of Carnage's voice with a slight screech effect after each sentence. It was a haunting tone...like a true monster of the darkness. Banshee took the first move in wanting to get out of here by sprinting off on all fours through the more dark abandoned streets, teeth bare as the symbiote was able to make Carmilla see night vision on where she was going. Thunder was rolling in closer and it began to rain. Banshee stopped on top of a ware house, standing up and looking up at the sky with a beastly purr, loving the rain on the face with deep exhales. It was obvious from before that Banshee was going to be the most dangerous symbiote there is...more dangerous than Carnage even...and Carmilla was starting to like that.

Eddie smiled and thanked Thea about the good terms with the ex. Yes there were times when honestly Eddie wished he could be back with Anne but that shipped sailed long before that woman's engagement with the nice surgeon. With Venom inside of him, it was good that she moved on. He would never let Anne get into the trouble with Venom besides if the two got in legal trouble or medical trouble. It made him think briefly if he was putting Thea in danger but honestly, she seemed more adventurous and a bigger risk taker than Anne. His mind got distracted about the news about the prisoner. It then occurred to him from the picture that it was Cletus and his jaw clenched for a brief moment. 'Fuck here we go again with that psycho ' he thought as Venom growled in agreement.

Eddie returned his attention back on Thea with a soft smile as the two shared their numbers. He definitely appreciated when she moved closer to him. He could smell her even more...the perfume, the hair product...lotion, everything. 'MM she smells nice' Venom said with a chuckle 'I like her a lot. You be a idiot to lose her, Eddie'. Eddie noticed she was looking at him like something was wrong. He only smiled and kept her close against his side with his arms around her "That guy on the TV isn't going to get you i promise. If he does, I will beat his ass. Venom will that is" Eddie chuckled, stroking her hair with his thumb as he sipped his beer "Its only the first date and I got to say, I really like you...you listen, you are comforting and of course Venom approves of you. I'm looking forward to these dates" he grinned

Carnage watched curiously as she snarled at him. He was utterly fascinated by her. He had never allowed anyone before her snarl at him and get away with it. He figured there were exceptions to every rule he had ever set for himself, and he could only wonder what else she would do. He watched everything she did with wonder. He was glad that it had been her who had come to interview him and not some other john doe off the street, trying to get the next hot story for some magazine or true crime show. He felt chills as she announced her name to him. The voice was eerie and left a sense of foreboding that would scare any normal human out of their skin. He loved it. She was a predator, and one on the hunt. She was what he wanted at his side every day and night.

He took off after her. She was faster than him, but he wasn't one to back down and run off from that. He just pushed himself faster. The rain didn't slow him any. Carnage was used to the night and low vision quality. He always relied more on sound and smell in the dark. He jumped from one building top to another until he came to a stop next to her. He was curious as to what she had in mind, but tonight was about her. This was her first night settling in and knowing what she can really do. Besides, he knew what she did tonight would say a lot about their future. He looked out at the city. "This place is ours for the taking," he said. "Whatever we want, we take. No asking, no bargaining. Just taking. No if's, and's, or but's." Cletus knew that was more Carnage talking than him, but he lived by that his whole life, and Carnage just helped him achieve that.

Thea leaned into him, feeling completely safe next to him. "Is written all over my face?" she asked. Though she knew that it was true. Her emotions always popped up like a billboard on her face. She could never seem to hide her thoughts easily. She loved the feel of his arms around her. It felt like a safe barrier from the world. "I'm sure that the chances of me running across that guy is probably slim, but I worry. Though I'm sure I don't need to with you around." It didn't feel like this was the first time they met and been out with each other. Something just felt so natural with the two of them. It was just easy to trust him to keep her safe.

"I would hope that he approves of me. I don't want to be the one who causes the two of you to split," she teased lightly. She didn't know if it would be that extreme if one of them didn't like her, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to find out. "I can say the same. I'm looking forward to them already. I enjoy being around you, and to be honest it's partially because you make me feel safe." She didn't know why she admitted the last bit, but it was true. Thea didn't see any reason as to why to hide it. She kissed the edge of his mouth, though she had been aiming more for his cheek. She could smell a hint of his cologne and a bit of the beer he was drinking, and it was intoxicating to her.

Banshee watched as Carnage appeared next to her, purring lowly as he spoke about taking the city for themselves. Carmilla wondered how that was all going to work out with taking over this city. She figured Cletus was dead set on that mindset about getting control after what society put him through, not to mention what happened to Carmilla. Banshee looked out towards the open city, the rain pouring over her body as lightning cracked the sky. Banshee didn't seem to be as talkative for now like how Carnage was but it made her more mysterious and animalistic. Carmilla was figuring out this symbiotes wants and needs real quick and it was obvious that Banshee was loving having her as a host. It fed on her anger and dark subconscious like gasoline to the car. "Rain..." it hissed as Banshee licked at the water pooling beneath her "blood...thirsty..."

Banshee looked sharply to the right, noticing a group of people forming around a semi as if they were loading cargo ready to go. She wanted more and more blood. Banshee growled and faced towards the prey. Black pores opened up from her back like snake patterns as fog rolled off of her. Banshee grabbed moisture from the rain and took advantage to create a thicker fog. Banshee leaped closer, letting the fog cover the men as they freaked out. She got on all fours like a panther in the forest and gripped one of the men's feet, tugging him towards her. She bared fangs, pulled him up and began eating not the head but the abdomen, literally eating directly the organs as rhe man screamed out in pain while blood poured from her mouth. As the man showed a huge open wound that covered his entire stomach area, she went to the others in need of more. Men shot at her as Banshee shrieked from the slight pinching of the bullets but it didn't stop her. In return, she made her black talons come out and sliced through two of them with limbs falling to the floor and blood costing the asphalt. With the last man being there, he tries running off and hiding behind the semi as the fog died down while Banshee let Carnage have that one as a meal.

"Oh trust me we ain't separating" Eddie chuckled, actually blushing a bit when she kissed the corner of his mouth "ya know, I would take this opportunity to take advantage of giving you a kiss on the mouth but I'm more of a gentleman than you think" he winked, his arm around her body keeping her secured to him as his thumb made circles on the soft skin of her arm. Eddie looked out towards a window and noticed it was pouring down rain "Awe damn I guess we are stuck here for now. What a bummer" he teased, leaning the side of his head against hers as he looked at the bartender he was familiar with "Hey. You have a sundae or something? I wanted to take this lovely lady to a ice cream parlor but it is a monsoon outside." The bartender smirked and nodded "Sure thing Eddie"

Eddie glanced at her eyes, the temptation of wanting to place his lips to hers was very hard for him. Her lips looked so soft and actually looked like they would taste good against his. Not to mention her skin felt amazing. 'Stop being a pussy and just kiss' Venom growled as Eddie rolled his eyes at his words. "I'm going to this convention on Saturday for the Daily Beugle in their yearly anniversary thing. It's only for employees of the company. If you wanted to come I could show you off. Your friend can come too, maybe she can find someone she likes so we can do double dates. I may know someone that's a friend of mine that works for the Daily and my Brock Report. My stuff gets published to the Daily Beugle weekly so that's why I'm invited" he shrugged "Guess J Jonah Jameson likes my work. He wants me to join full-time but it's kind of in the air" he smiled, leaving a kiss on rhe side of her head.

Carnage followed her down on to the truck. The people really didn't know what was coming for them. Hell, he barely had to do anything. He just watched her for the most part and made sure that no one got away. He watched the guy trying to run off and hide behind the truck. He made his way around as his own tentacles came out and wrapped around the guy. He ripped the man in two and brought his body in close to eat. He slowed the halves down whole without a problem. As the sound of the rain pounded around them, he glanced over at Banshee. Carnage looked around as the blood was being washed away on the streets. He was surprised by how this day had gone. He was out and free to do what he wanted, and he had someone to enjoy it with. He felt almost complete. He wondered what else was in store for the night.

A loud crack of thunder boomed over their heads. Carnage looked up enjoying the rain on his skin. He had always felt cleansed after it rained for some reason. He took a step towards Banshee, closing the distance between them. He got in as close as he could. He could feel the ghost of her breath on his skin, and it intoxicated him more than he cared to admit to anyone even himself. He looked into her eyes, curious as to what she was going to do.

Thea smiled. "Oh, I'm starting to believe that you are a gentleman, ," she said, teasing a little bit. She was glad that he didn't just want to rush into it, but she wouldn't hold it against him if he did kiss her. Well, not in a bad way at least. She wanted to laugh at her own thoughts. She glanced towards the window and nodded. "Yeah, it's really coming down, isn't it?" she commented. She had heard that there was chance of rain, but she didn't think it would get this bad. She perked up a bit at the mention of ice cream, wondering if he just knew how to win her over.

Thea noticed his eyes looking at her lips, and she was curious if he was going to kiss her even though he was being a gentleman. She was almost scared to make the move herself because she didn't want to come on too fast and scare him off. She nodded at his words without much thought. "Yeah, I would love to go. I will let Carmilla know about it. I think it would be fun for us to have a double date," she said. She had always enjoyed them. Though she wasn't sure if Carmilla would want to go or not. Never hurt to ask, right? "I never been to anything like that," she admitted. She also didn't want to admit that she had never been shown off by anyone. It was something that she was immediately looking forward to. "Though I'm sure that it'll be fun with you."

Banshee watched Carnage get right in front of him, slowly breathing as rhe rain came down. She could feel his breath move against her symbiote face, it feeling so warm and wreaked of flesh. Banshee purred in like a comforting tone as the symbiote nuzzled its face against his, the black tongue moving against his jaw line before suddenly grabbing on to his shoulders to kiss hard. The kiss slowly forced the two back into their human form as Carmilla continued pressing her lips hard against Cletus when they shrunk down to their mortal selves. Carmillas hair was drenched from the rain along with her clothes. Slowly she pulled back as she was now holding on to his black jacket. Carmilla smiled up at him and let go, feeling so free for the first time in her life.

She giggled as she twirled around a bit in the rain away from him, craning her neck back with a smile on her face and eyes closed as the rain washed the blood from her mouth that was left over from Banshee. Her hands moved over her face as the rain felt amazing against her skin, it was like every nerve in her body was sparking in euphoria with a sense of freedom and relief of being a victim. She didn't have to be afraid anymore. "I never felt so alive" Carmilla chuckled as she fell back on a puddle of water and laid in it, the grin still showing on her face as she stared at the stars. Banshee was purring within her because of how accepted she was as the new her so quick. It was like this was all a calling to Carmilla all along....she didn't give a care in the world, not even for those dead men several feet away from her. She could put anything to her mind and no one could kick her to the mud.

Eddie smiled when she lit up at the mention of having ice cream. Sure it wasn't as crazy as the ice cream parlor he originally wanted to take her and Carmilla to to lighten up the mood and have fun with some ice breakers but it was better than nothing. "Well I'm glad you accept my offer then, miss" Eddie smiled wide, running his fingers along the skin of her arm once again. The bartender came back to them with a 2 scoop vanilla sundae that was coated in hot fudge, whipped cream and two cherries on top. Eddie thanked the bartender as the spoons were given to them before grabbing her cherry and waving it in front of her lips. Eddie waited for her to open before letting her take the cherry in her mouth and taking the stem to put it on a napkin. He licked his fingertips while looking at her, completely loving every moment he spent with her and how he would have kicked his own ass if he never had the balls to take her out...or save her from the ally.

"Sorry, didn't want to get your hands dirty" Eddie chuckled as he ate his own cherry. He gave the spoon to her while he took a scoop and placed it in his mouth, moaning at the taste. "May not be an ice cream place and maybe I'm just having a massive craving, but that's good ice cream" he said with a mouth full of ice cream. 'More...yummy' Venom purred in his mind as Eddie rolled his eyes and continued to eat the ice cream. He noticed as he swallowed that second bite that she had some fudge in the corner of her mouth. Eddie smiled as he leaned in and gently cupped her chin with one hand, "You got a little spot right..." he trailed his word before leaning in to kiss the corner of her mouth to get that fudge spot off of her and backing away with a lick of his lips "...there" he chuckled "am I being a bad tease? I think doing that should be a crime for me when I should do this" he then pecked her lips with his own, not wanting to make it long "Sorry the temptation was bad and I didn't want to push a whole lot on you" he winked.
