I am You

Felix walks down the sidewalk of Seoul, South Korea. He was going to go see Carmen at her work place tonight. He pushed his hands further in his coat pocket as he turned the corner and could see the signs to the salon. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face. Even though they had lunch together with some of other guys in his band yesterday. He still wanted to try and get a date from her. He stopped outside the salon and took a deep breath. He opened the door and walked in. She told there walking with one of her clients. He gave her a small wave when she looked up to greet him.

Jocelyn covered her eyes as the sun shined in through the window. She sat up and realize she fell asleep on the couch. She had a long night at work and she had to do it all over again. She was a hostess at one of the fanciest restaurants in Seoul. She heard a knock on the door so she got up from her spot and went to answer it. She yawned right as she swung the door open to reveal one of her friends, Lee Min-ho. "Hey, did we have plans?" She asked as she let him in and watched him shrug his jacket off. She couldn't lie but she has always been attracted to Min-ho but she was kind of secretly in a relationship with Han. She looked at him as he shook his head no finally to her question then things went silent.

Carmen nodded when one of her co-workers told her that she had a walk in client asking for her. She had finished cleaning her station from the last client before walking to the front. Carmen was curious to know which of her clients had walked in asking for her specifically, especially since her regulars always made an appointment with her ahead of time. As she approached the front, she saw a man who was wearing a hoody that covered his face. She didn't recognize him at first, but then he moved his head slightly and Carmen instantly recognized the man when he showed his blue eyes and freckles slightly.

Carmen was confused to why he was here, but she looked at the receptionist and smiled softly. "Thanks Yezi." she said before tilting my chin in the direction of my station to for the man to follow me. "So why are you here, Felix?" Carmen asks softly as she faced him with her arms crossed against her chest. "I finished covering for Sorina while she was out. She should be back to taking care of you and the guys."

Min-ho chuckled softly as Jocelyn looked so confused to why he was visiting her. "No, we didn't make any plans." he tells her as he takes his jacket off and walks into the kitchen. "Did you eat anything yet?" He asks, but Minho knew that didn't eat yet, knowing that she had a very busy night at work yesterday. When she confirmed what he already knew, he shook. "I hope you know how lucky you are to have me in your life." He teased before shooing her to upstairs. "Go get freshen up, while I'll cook us breakfast."

When she nodded and headed to her room, Min-ho watched her until she was no longer in his view. He let out a soft sigh to himself as he thought about the Jocelyn as more than a friend. He has always had feelings for her, but was scared to hell her. So he just admires her from a far. Besides why would someone beautiful as her would want to be with a guy like him? Sure he is famous and considered as good looking to many girls, but he felt like he wasn't enough for her

"Yeah, she is back but I'm here for another reason. Well two reasons, you never answered my question before you left." He said smiling. He had a talked with Sorina about her but it wasn't much information though. "So..." He asked stepping up close to hear to talk more quietly. She looked confused. "You remember, right? I asked you if we could go on a date just you and I?" He grinned. He didn't want to sound full of himself but he knew she couldn't or wouldn't say no. "Just one little date, Carmen. I promise to be good." He was a man of his word. He really liked this girl and he didn't really understand why because she barely talked to him.

Jocelyn finished changing into fresh clothes after a quick shower. She left her wet hair down to air dry before grabbing her phone incase Han called. She walked out of her room and down the hallways to see Minho standing at the stove. Her kitchen smelled amazing. "What are you making that smells so amazing?" She walks into her kitchen and right over to Minho. She rest her chin on his shoulder the best she could as she watched him cook. "You can be my live in chef." She laughed as he only smiled. "How is Han...umm the guys doing?" She asked. She tried to never mention Han without asking about the guys.

Carmen sighed softly, nodding when she remembered that he asked her out. He seems like a nice guy, really sweet. But she made herself a promise that she wouldn't date another famous guy, especially after her last relationship. "I'm sorry Felix, but I have to decline." She said, letting him down gently. "I dont date my clients, but I also dont date celebrities." She said that part only loud enough for him to hear incase her nosey co-workers were trying to eavesdrop. "You've been great to me while I was substituting for Sorina, and I really appreciate that. Just know that you'll find the right girl." She said and patted his shoulder.

Minho laughed softly. "I'm sure you would enjoy that a little too much." He continued to laugh, but gave her his charming smile. "Then again, I do cook for you a lot." He teased before turning off the stove. He grabbed a couple of plates and began piling it with some food. Yeah placed one plate in front of Jocelyn and then took his plate to his spot at the table. Minho smiled softly as they began to eat, but then he frowned slightly when he heard her say Han's name. Of course she would be interested in Han. He always gets the girls, but Han was his friend and group mate. He looked at Jocelyn and gave her a convincing smile. "They're good. We've been working on some new material."

Felix was upset about her rejection but he wasn't going to stop from asking her. "Why not? Our lives are actually pretty private compared to others." He said not sure why she would say she don't date celebrities. He watched her facial expression turn from sad to angry to sad again. He didn't want to make her upset or sad in any way. "Listen, just think about it some more. I promise I'm not like any of those celebrities, Carmen." He did the air quotes before and after celebrities. He really wasn't like any of them. "Let Felix put a little sun on that beautiful shine of yours." He said and mentality slapped himself with how stupid that sounded but hope it would at least get her to smile.

"Mm Minho this is so good. If you were a famous singer then being a professional chef would be your second option." I couldn't help the light moan escape my lips. His food was so delicious and he does spoil me with his cooking at least once a day. "Oh will I be able to hear any of the stuff or am I going to have to wait like everybody else?" I teased. She had been trying to get Han to let her listen to something but Han was very strict with that kind of stuff. Minho was more easy going with that sort of things. She looked up at him as he shrugged. She knew she was having him risk a lot when she asked that. "I don't want you to get in trouble. I love you." She said without realize the affect those words meant to him even though she was attracted to him she was still committed to Han.

Carmen sighed sadly, and shook her head. "I'm sorry Felix, but I just can't." She saidand looked over towards the front lobby when she heard the door bell ring, when a client walked in. Carmen couldn't tell him that she already has a boyfriend, because then he would ask about him. She looked at the time and sighed softly. "I have a client coming in soon for their appointment and I need to get my station ready for them." Carmen said, but gave him a sad smile . "You're a sweet guy, Felix. Dont lose that." She told him truthfully, but then mentally cursed at herself, thinking that statement probably made him feel worse.

Min-ho smiled softly, happy that she loved his cooking although he knew how much she did, but it still warmed his heart. "I was already preparing to go to culinary school if I hadn't been scouted by JYP." He chuckles softly. his heart flutter when he heard her say that she loves him, but he knew that she didnt mean it like he wanted her to mean it. "I'll give you a sneak preview before it is released to the public. You just can't let the guys know."

Felix sighed looking behind him then back at her. "I'll talk to you soon, Carmen. We can still be friends right?" He asked stepping back as he waited for her to answer him but she just waved him off before turning around. He looked around to see a guy standing at the door. The girl at the desk looking scared. Felix stomach did flips. He didn't like the looks of this guy but instead of staying he walked out the door. He would see her in a few days. He wasn't going to give up.

"See this is why you are my favorite." She laughed as she finished eating her food. She stood up from her spot, taking her plate and walking over to the sink. She began doing the dishes when Minho walked up and began drying them. This is what they did every time he came over to fix her breakfast. "Can you stay longer or do you have to go back to the dorm?" She looked over at him. Majority of the time, he can't stay too long because they are very busy.

Carmen felt bad, but she knew she couldn't be too involved with Felix. She was already pushing it when she was working with Felix and the rest of his group members. Felix was a good guy and he deserves to be with a nice girl instead of someone broken like her. Carmen walked up to the front to greet her next client, but then realize it was her boyfriend, Kihyun standing there, glaring at her while his strong arms were crossed against his chest. Carmen knew that he saw her talking to Felix, and she was hoping that she could just calm him down so he wouldn't hurt her or go after Felix. "I'll be right back Yezi, I'm going outside to talk to him. I should be back in 5 minutes." She told the receptionist, who looked scared. "Come on Kihyun." She said, grabbed his hand to lead him outside to the back of the shop to get away from people eavesdropping.

Minho blushed, he hated how her words made his heart swoon for Jocelyn, when he knew that she didnt have the same feelings for him like he did for her. Calming down his internal feelings, he got up and went to help her with the dishes. "I can stay for an extra hour." He told her, although he should be in his dorm getting some rest before getting back to work, but he didnt really want to leave her place right now. "What did you want to do?"

Felix felt uneasy about leaving the salon with that guy there so he snuck around the alley to wait for the guy to leave. He didn't stay there long when he heard yelling so he ran off. He ran down the sidewalk far away from that place. Something was just telling him that he made a mistake but he couldn't risk everything. He wanted to call Sorina to have her check on Carmen so he text her instead and waited.

"Watch at least an episode of our show or have you finished it?" She laughed and walked into her living room, sitting on the couch then patting the spot next to her. "Or we can just sit and talk about anything you want." She said watching him sit down next to her. She rested her head on his shoulder in a friendly way. She didn't want to lead him on in any way.

As soon as Carmen had reached the parking lot with her boyfriend following behind, she tried to explain to Kihyun that nothing was going on with her and Felix. However, she was knocked down to the ground before she could speak. "Kihyun, please stop. I promise nothing is going on between me and Felix. He was just one of the clients I took over for Sorina while she was out. I'm not working for him anymore and I told him that I can't work for him and his group members.' She cried out, flinching when he raised his hand. "Please, Kihyun. My coworkers will call the cops on you if dont stop. You can punish me at home." She begged him.

Minho smiled softly, but tried to hide his blush as he felt her rest her head against his shoulder. Although she has done this multiple times and know that everything she does is strictly platonic between them, he couldn't help but get those butterflies feelings in his stomach at the simple contact. "I'm cool with either. Whatever you want to do." He smilee softly.

Felix walked back to the dorms but just couldn't shake off this bad feeling he was getting. He wanted to send her a text just to make sure she was alright but that guy looked dangerous. He jumped up and ran to where Bang Chan room was. He banged on the door until he answered. Felix walked into his room and began explaining everything to him and how worried he was. "I mean she rejected me but like that guy just gave off bad vibes, Chan." Felix paced Bang Chan room.

"Your shoulder is so comfy, Minho." Jocelyn giggled as she teasingly snuggled further in. "Do you work out?" She felt for his muscles. She knew never well that he in fact did work out and she couldn't not cop a feel of his muscles. She look at him as he flexed a bit. "Oh my my, such a strong man." She teased him a bit more until his phone rang then two seconds later her phone dinged with s message from Han.

Carmen walked back inside the salon a few minutes after Kihyun hit and yelled at her. She made sure that she touched up her makeup and hair before walking back in to cover up any old and fresh bruises. She didnt want her nosy co-workers or clients to know about her abusive relationship. Carmen went back to her shift with little to no interaction with her coworkers and light conversations with her clients until her shift ended for the day, but she knew should be in for a long night when she gets home.

Minho smirked playfully and showed off his muscles by flexing his arm. "One of the perks of being an idol is having to stay fit. He laughs softly but then looked down at his phone as it rang, seeing that it was his manager. He sighed, knowing that he is needed at the studio. "I'm sorry, Jocelyn, I have to go. But I have to go, unfortunately. I'll come over tomorrow to make you breakfast." He offers with a sweet smile hoping to cheer her up.

"Would you go check on her, Chan? I know she'd probably get really upset if I show up again." Felix just needed to know she was okay. Chan shook his head and said no but use his phone to call her. Felix nodded as he took his phone, dailing her number and waiting for her to answer. He just felt uneasy and knew he wouldn't sleep until he heard her voice. He waited until the 4th ring before hanging up. "No answer." Felix tossed Chan's phone on the bed and stormed out.

"Thank you for always taking care of me, Minho." Jocelyn walked him to her door and gave him a big hug before she opened her door to let him leave. "I will but you some of your favorite pastry's." She said watching him smile big. They hugged each other and Minho left. She watched him climb onto the elevator snd waved goodbye to him. She needed to shake those feelings back because she was happy with Han. She looked at the text she reemeber from Han and smiled widely.

Carmen's shift was over and she was definitely dreading to go home, knowing that Kihyun was going to punish her for talking back to him, but also talking to Felix in his presence. She hoped and prayed that he was out at a club with some other woman, forgetting about her and her punishment. Carmen knew she should feel angry or betrayed that her boyfriend was cheating on her, but she rather that he cheats on her than hurt her, especially since she can't end her relationship with him, because he would kill her. Once she clocked out for the night and head to her car, Carmen's phone rang. She quickly answered the phone without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?"

Minho smiled softly as he waved goodbye to Jocelyn when he got on the elevator. He wish that he could stay longer, but he knew that he would be in serious trouble if he ignored his manager. But he knew he would see her tomorrow so he had that to look forward to.

Han smirked when saw that Jocelyn read his text. He finished recording his parts for the new song about an hour ago, so he was going to spend the rest of his day off with her. But before he would head over to her place, he stopped by the store to pick up some flowers and some of her favorite chocolate treats. See you soon, my love.

Carmen sighed angrily once she heard his voice. "Look Felix I'm fine. I don't need your help because I'm not in trouble. " she said before starting the engine of her car. "Look, I'm not your hairstylist anymore, so you really don't need to come see me or talk to me anymore." She said then hung up the phone before he could say anything and blocked his number so she wouldn't receive anymore calls from him. Carmen began driving home, hoping and praying that Kihyun would be out for the night.

Han smiled when Jocelyn opened the door after he knocked on it. "Hey beautiful." He said and leaned down to kiss her before walking inside. "I got you these. I saw them while I was out and I immediately thought about you." He said handing her the bouquet of flowers.

Felix sighed then walk to his room, pissed off. He just wanted to be her friend but she closed him out. She never talked about anything too personal. He was just trying to get to know her. He decided to call her friend Sorina. He dialed her number and waited for her to pick up. It rang three or so times. A very tired Sorina answered the phone.

Jocelyn blushed when he walked in and kissed her then she saw the bouquet of flowers. "Oh these are so beautiful. Thank you." She took the flowers and smelled them before walking to the kitchen to put them in water. "I miss you, Han. She said turning around to face him. She wrapped her arms around him, giving him a big hug. "How was the studio?" Jocelyn asked. She loved when he would talk about studio time.
