I looked at the clock again for what felt like the hundredth time in the last ten minutes, hating how slow time was moving. It was always like this during the last thirty minutes of the workday and even more so on Fridays. I was ready to get out of the office and possibly go out somewhere with her roommate. I had texted Cierra a few minutes ago wondering it she wanted to meet up at their favorite bar before heading to their apartment, and honestly I was hoping that she would want to. I didn’t really want to go straight home, being a little stir crazy for the last few weeks of just work and home.

Ricky
I woke up with the sun still up in the sky. Though the day’s light was only going to last for roughly an hour longer. I got out of my bed and stretched feeling the hunger become stronger. It had been nagging at him for the last couple of weeks, but I had been putting it off for awhile because I didn’t like always going on the hunt. Besides killing and feeding too often just looked suspicious to the humans. I went straight to the shower to clean off the mess from the night before. I could only wonder just where Chris was going take them for the hunt. I knew how he worked and knew that it was most likely going to a bar which was fine with me. I was just feeling a little too eager for tonight feeling like there was something big going to happen.

Cierra

I had gotten the text from Dahlia about going out to the bar later on. I replied, yes of course. I didn’t usually go out drinking but I did like it every now and then, especially when it was a stressful work week, like this week. So, once it was time for work to be over with, I clocked out and left, texting Dahlia again to tell her I was headed to our apartment and that I would see her when she got home.

Chris

I was tired after last night’s adventure, but I made myself get out of bed sometime after laying down. The sun was still out but that was okay. I could shower and get ready for the evening. I was going to treat the boys to a night of drinking at one of the local bars. Though I didn’t drink myself, I knew they probably needed one. After showering, I got dressed before going downstairs to wait for everyone to get up so I could tell them about tonight.

Dahlia
I smiled seeing the message from Cierra, and sent back that I was just heading out of work and would be there soon. It was moments like this that I was glad to have her as a roommate. I grabbed my purse and clocked out from work. I walked out of the building, feeling a little free as I stepped out of the office building. I was getting tired of working in a place like that, but I couldn’t find anything better just yet. I was always thankful that the office was just a few blocks over from our apartments so the walk wasn’t all that hard.

I came down the stairs heading towards the kitchen. I felt fresh and ready for the night. There was only a question of who I would get once we were out there. I looked up to see Chris already waiting for us and if I read his face correctly, I knew that he had something in mind. “Hey, Chris,” I said, leaning into the kitchen island. “What’s on the list for the night?” I knew that I most likely wouldn’t get my answer until the others started showing up and knowing one of them it might not be until the sun had set for the day. But one could hope.

I looked over at the front door as Dahlia came in. “Hey D!” I waved as I went to my room. I changed my clothes and began getting dressed for the night out. “What bar did you want to go to?” I called out as I pulled on my shoes.

I looked over as Ricky came in. “Hmm, I was going to wait until everyone else came down, but I can see that your anticipating this, so I’ll just tell you now.” I said. “I’m going to take you all to one of the local bars in town, I’m not sure which one yet though.” I said as I sipped my coffee.

I smiled hearing Cierra’s voice. “Hey, Cierra,” I called back, heading towards my room to get out of the dull, boring work clothes. I didn’t take long to change my clothes and fix my makeup. I stepped out of my room looking her over and smiling. “I was thinking Raymond’s. Does that sound good?” I asked curiously. It was a bar that they had been to before and the place never seemed to get too crazy which felt like a plus in my opinion.

I smiled glad that I got the just though where to go is the question. There were quite a few bars in this town, but they weren’t all the same. And besides I never wanted to frequent the same bar too often in fear of being recognized and outing my coven and myself out as vampires. “Oh, which ones are you debating on?” I asked as the others started coming into the kitchen.
