The first thing I ever wrote was an illustrated story for some contest in first grade, and I have notebooks full of random junk sitting around the house that I wrote later on. So like...nine years, I think. But I didn't really get serious about it until seventh/eighth grade.

Since the first grade. I wrote a pretty neat nine-page romance. Naughty

I've been writing since... I think 5th grade. I mean, that's when I started writing for myself, like my own stories and such.
My first was like this murder mystery about some kid named Angelo.
It really wasn't so bad for a 10 year old. :tehe:

I think I was in the third grade when I started writing stories. So for almost nine years.

    Since I was eight.
    Werewolves, dragons.
Harry Potter fan fictions that only I ever read.
I remember there was one where they were in Potions and then they all started turning into animals. Weird.
I had this weird thing for always putting a scene in the stories where someone would call Hermione the 'M' word and she'd run off crying, and Ron would start throwing up. Harry would just kind of be like, "Uh...okay. Off to Hagrid's. Or Quidditch."
I was a twisted kid. Still am.

I wrote a story when I was in second grade, and another one when I was in fourth or so. That was about seven years ago.

I didn't start writing long chaptered stories until 2005.

I didn't really start any real independently written stories of my own, until I was about ten or twelve. Before that, I probably wrote little page-long vignettes for school and such, but I don't think those can really count.

I started putting ideas down on paper when I was about nine. They were all extremely dumb horse stories that were blatant plagarisms of the Phantom Stallion series though. Lol.

And they all were like, "This is a horse. His name is Blaze. He lives in the mountains. "Hello." said Sarah. "Hello. Sarah." said Amy."

    Lol.

I started writing fan fictions about three years ago though. =]

Well in first grade my crazy teacher made us write stories like crazy, but I absolutly began to despise writing after the... 100th story, so I got really turned off of the whole thing.

Then my fifth grade teacher got me into writing again. I can't exactly explain how, but I guess you could say that was when I really started, even though the stories were crap. I wrote a slightly psycotic (at least coming from an 11 year old) story about aliens invading earth and building crushing and with descriptions of people dying. Also, I tried quizilla in 7th grade, wrote the most horrible thing out there.

If I had to say, I started really writing in November of last year, when I decided to give this fanfiction idea I had an honest try. I've sure come far since then.

I never used to write stories. I used to make them up in my head and then draw them out like comic books, in panels, but without words. The main plot was just all moving along in my head with the dialogue and narration, and I just drew to get them out, in a way. I had so many ideas when I was about 12 or so. If I could remember them now I'd have endless stories.

I suppose I've always written in school, but the first time I wrote for myself was around the time I turned 15. I'm juding that by the fact I got my Quizilla account a little after my 15th birthday. I originally started writing a story based on the characters from Noughts And Crosses, but no one read it. That's the only story I can still remember that I wrote almost entirely in my head.

Writing with the intention of making it a full story, all finished up? Only about 4 years, maybe a little more. Still haven't finished a story though. Only got two.

The first one is a little childish, but I may go back to it sometime and try again. But I am determined to finish this one first, even if it takes me 50 years!
