How Long Have You Been Writing?

I started writing stories (badly) when I was five. That's twelve years ago. I can't believe it's been that long, but...

I started writing in second grade.

Close to eight years? Almost nine. Started at age 9.

I've been writing since the fifth grade. :3 I wrote my first story about my cousins. I wasn't computer illiterate until I was about 12 or 13 when i discovered the internet. XD I had no idea Mibba existed until now.

I used to write little short stories for myself when I was like four or five. They obviously weren't too well-written but it was fun. I stopped writing them down for a couple yeas, but then I became obsessed with perfecting my writing style in around seventh grade. I can't stop now.

I started writing between 5th and 6th grade. That was 8 years ago. Granted I've improved a lot since then.

I used to write little stories when I was a kid and always did rather well when I'd have to write one for school. Then I never wrote anything again until about 10 years ago, when I wrote the background story for a character I'd made up while kind-of role playing with friends (Yekith was his name, by the way). Then nothing again until I got into the MCR fandom 4 years after that. Only then (with fanfiction) I started writing more regularly.

Since I was 12, so seven (almost eight) years. (:

I've been writing since when I can remember. Ever since I learnt to write probably.

I had interest in making stories when I was in the first grade.

I really started writing in 5th grade.

I haz been writing since I was in first grade, but when I met my best friend in third is when I enjoyed it, since he introduced me to fantasy games and movies I could write fan fiction about.

So... four years now, if you count when I peaked, six if you don't.

I started writing poems when I was about eleven, then short stories when I was twelve, but my mam says I always loved when my primary school teachers gave us creative writing homeworks when I was like five or six. So about eight years, in a more serious respect.

I've been writing stories since I was a little girl, like maybe 6 0r 7, but I've never really made writing into a hobby up until I entered middle school about ten years ago. :P

Okay, so, I've always wanted to tell stories, and there was always this one story that my friends and I turned into a game. :) I was about nine at the time when I wrote my first story that I was really excited about. I didn't become serious about my writing until about the sixth grade...so, three years ago. =^.^= (I'm a freshman in high school now.)

First real memory was when I was 13. So, almost 5 years. I wrote Camp Rock fanfiction back then

I started writing my own weird stories when I was in 1st grade; I remember writing about an alien marrying a human woman and then using her to take over the world. My dad helped me draw it; I still have it too. I didn't start writing fanfics until I was 14, before then my stories were all just fictions; 6 years of fanfics and 13 years of short stories

The first story I every wrote was when I was five. My parents put me in an after school program and some of the teachers would have us write holiday themed stories. Mine was about three super powered sibling turkeys and a witch who kidnapped the girl turkey. She in turn is rescued by her brothers and she falls in love with her oldest brother. First ever and only incest story I've written I didn't even understand what I did until I found the book later on. But that was fifteen years ago almost exactly.

I guess I've been writing in the literal sense since 2nd grade, but those were only little kid stories that didn't make much sense and never got finished. I've been writing seriously since I was probably a sophomore in high school.
