    I haven't read the manga yet but I bet it's awesome. ^_^
Heh, it is. Actually it finished recently, but I personally think it's better than the anime. I can't really compare though, considering how far past the manga went after the anime. :/

Oh, and I'm with ya on TMOHS. I watched two or three episodes and got completely lost. It just didn't make any sense to me at all, so I dropped it. I don't really get why it's so famous either, I've seen better. Disgust
    stay with me.:
:XD Sure you can. It's Amanda in case I didn't mention it (since I'm too stupid to remember if I told you or not).

Und ja, I used to watch a lot of anime, but I kinda stopped. The last one I watched was Blood+ and I'll admit I cried in the last episode when Haji got crushed. Cry I was watching Naruto and Bleach at the same time, but I kinda gave up on those now. When they were still airing here, I watched Yu Yu Hakisho and Roruni Kenshin (:yah he was hot) too. And I was a big Sailor Moon fan as a kid. :tehe: But now I don't watch much of anything anymore.

I never read a lot of manga, just some Bleach manga in bookstores when I got the chance. I read some webcomics online though, but they weren't real manga.

In Love But I love Junjou Romantica. I'm on Volume 5 now.
    Hahaha, cool, I'm Steph. 8)

Oh noes! I'm watching Blood+ on TV, but it hasn't gotten that far. >.< Ah well, that's cool, hahaha. I'm not really a fan of Naruto, but I like Bleach, though I only read the manga. I heard the anime wasn't as good[?] Meh, each to their own, I suppose. I'll get around to watching it eventually. :XD Oh, and I loved Sailor Moon as a kid too! So adorable. In Love

I go to OneManga to read manga, though I haven't been in a while, so I'm probably behind in a few chapters of my favourites. Ah, I'll get around to it eventually. :XD

The only mangas that are being sold in our bookstores here are Negima!, Vampire Knight, and Slam Dunk. How I wish there could be more. I want to have manga copies of my own.

The animes that are famous in my hometown right now are One Piece and Bleach... for the boys and Naruto Shipuudden for the girls. I don't know why. :tehe:

The Big 3 are popular pretty much everywhere, though I only read Bleach. Mostly everything about One Piece puts me off, and Naruto is, well, kind of lame, compared to what I'm used to. Meh. /shrugs.

I like the anime of Fruits Basket but the manga is so much better.
Like, the anime is a bit too sickly sweet whereas the manga has much more depth to it. Then again I've only seen the first eight episodes of it but it's quite slow as well.

Shigure pwns though :file: :hand: In both manga and anime.

I love the Death Note anime as well. I really don't mind the english voices at all :shifty

They don't even sell Vampire Knight over here. : < Here in Antwerp (Belgium) they only sell Death Note, Fruits Basket, Yu-Gi-Oh, Chobits and stuff like that. Not really my cup of tea except for Death Note. Luckily I can order manga online. I only have 10 (Ouran volume 1 & 2, Blood + volume 1, 2 & 3, Berserk volume 1, Bleach volume 1, Death Note volume 1 & 2, Monster volume 1 ) so far but yeah, I don't have that much money. :cute:

Oh and I dropped TMOHS after watching 3 eps, it was just crap imo. :/ And I started watching Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, awesome drama. This anime's probably going to end up in my top 10 if the end is any good. ^_^

Hm I think I'm going to start reading it. I took a look at some anime websites and most people who've read the manga seemed to really like it there so yeah. ^_^

One of my personal favorite animes is Eureka Seven. There are only fifty episodes, though. It's kind of an adventure-romantic-war-mecha-y anime. :XD

    Fullmetal Alchemist the anime?
    Damn straight epic.

    Miyazaki movies are also just...:yah
He's coming out with a new one, and he hand drew every goddamned panel. Jesus...that man is my hero.

Though, I do have to admit that there's some inane and shitty anime/manga coming out these days :/

^. It's been mentioned quite a few times in this thread.

I'm not as into anime/manga as I used to be. Most of the series I read as a kid have just lost me, especially the long running Shounen series like Naruto and Bleach.

What I've been reading lately is Gantz and Battle Royale. Gantz is a bit sci-fi; Battle Royale? It's great, but it's definately not something everyone would enjoy. The art seems to turn people away, but the story is epic.
Also, Alive: The Final Evolution, Get Backers, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are good, and I've had a slight Code Geass obsession, lately.
I like things that can turn into a Psychological-drama, and some historically-based series. Also, unlike a lot of people here, I kind of appreciate a good fight scene, and art will take a back seat to why I'll read a series (okay, not always.) Shoujo manga like Vampire Knight, Ouran High School Host Club, and Gravitation (I've read the whole series, for some reason...) just aren't my thing. :/

My favorite series is something, uh, questionable. Kodomo no Jikan; another series that isn't for everyone and involves a special kind of tolerance, but it really has a great storyline, and well-rounded characters. Cute girls, too. =)
Fair warning; it's a Lolicon series, though the genre doesn't shine through until later on. I could argue that it's not much worse than a Yaoi/Yuri/slash obsession, but that might look bad for me. =P

I don't watch much anime but there are a few good shows.
My favorites are Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note and Inuyasha. I like Shin Chan too. It was funny.

Dude, I second that. Fullmetal Alchemist was so...awesome.
Anyone else still addicted to Detective Conan?
    I also like watching Detective School Q. I don't know, it's all
suspense and mystery but there's always a touch of comedy in pretty much
    every episode.

I'm also a Cardcaptor Sakura fan. I once had a crush on Li. And Yukito, too. :yah
