The Libertines, to be honest. I heard of them in about December but they started awhile back, broke up awhile back.

I love the song Check Yes Juliet.
    The whole CD is amazing.

Goodnight Nurse are good. I swear one of their song's ('My Only') is cursed for my best mate and I. Terrible stuff always seems to happen. Good song to learn on guitar. Really easy. Anyway off topic.

The English music scene is fairly good at the minute. You Me at Six, The Blackout, Kids in Glass Houses and all that lot.
One Night Only for a bit of indie are quite good, and if you like You Me at Six try The Café Kids. They added me on myspace a while ago, and I was quite impressed.
Palladium are alright, I saw them with Elliot Minor, and considering the terrible quality of the other sets they put on a good show.
The Landaus for some indie rock.
Rotating Leslie are rather good indie pop.
Flood of Red for the Bring Me The Horizon lot. (Nice guys as well.) Don't know how many people know about them. Architects are good, but I'd imagine a lot of people know about them.
Oh and M Craft is amazing. Acoustic. Australian. He's brilliant. I advise the song 'Dragonfly'.

Sorry this was kind of long.
